Physical Features |
|||
Alex is a fairly typical looking tween. He is of average height and build, and he wears his blond hair in a close cropped style with a slight tuft in the front. Like all of the power siblings, Alex has bright blue eyes and freckles. Alex’s costume is a stark white unitard that covers him from neck to boot. The right sleeve of the unitard is pitch black, as well as a stripe that runs down the right side of her body and a square patch that runs from her neck to the middle of his torso. Within the centre of the black patch on his chest, is a line diagram of the ground and a pair of square objects suspended above them. This image is simplified representation of his power to reduce the force of gravity on objects. A pair of silver ridged boots complete his costume. The boots are reminiscent of those an astronaut may wear. When Gee utilizes his powers, small black (when decreasing gravity’s pull on an object) or white (when increasing gravity’s pull) rectangular marks appear on his forearms and lower legs, and quite often at the point of contact that he has with said object. When Gee utilizes his powers in costume, the main body of the costume shifts to match the colour of the rectangles on his forearms and legs |

Personality |
|||
Alex is the oldest Power sibling, and as such has been forced to accept a greater amount of responsibility than his younger peers. He shoulders that responsibility with a great deal more maturity than one would expect of a youth his age, but like many other tween boys, is still prone to bouts of bravado, immaturity and thoughtless behaviour. Alex has a true sense of heroism within him, and often drives the other siblings to action. He acts as the groups defacto leader. When encountering other heroes throughout their adventures, Alex strived to be seen as a responsible and mature hero. He was especially impressed by individuals like Spider-man and Thor. Alex has just recently discovered girls, and has an intense crush on a particularly cute young lady named Allison. He speaks about her relentlessly to his other siblings, which generally annoys them to the point of arguments. |

Equipment |

• Power Pack Uniform: Made of Remarkable material strength unstable molecules, the closes provide Good Protection vs. heat and cold. Each member of Power Pack was given a costume made by the Smartship Friday. Franklin Richards was later given a costume by Friday as well. With the verbal command, "Costumes On," the costume will appear, replacing any existing clothes. The costumes are maintained when not in use by residents of an alternate reality known as Elsewhere. In addition to summoning, alterations to the costumes can be made by contacting the Elsewhere tailors with notes left in the pockets. Alterations include space worthy costumes and underwater ones as well. Notices also need to be left in the pocket to transform the costumes to indicate the powers possessed by its member. Additional accessories can also be added that become part of the permanent costume until the kids express a desire to alter them again. The pockets of each costume are portals to Elsewhere. Therefore, the kids can hold a significant amount of stuff in the pockets of their costumes without creating a bulge or weight. The limits of the Elsewhere tailors have yet to be expressed. |

Personal History |
|||
Alex Power was the oldest child of Dr. James Power, a physicist who worked for the United States government on a means of producing large quantities of energies cheaply through combining matter and anti-matter (the subatomic particles composing anti-matter have opposite charges to those of the equivalent particles of matter itself. When matter contacts anti-matter, both are converted entirely into vast quantities of energies). An alien Kymellian named Aelfyre Whitemane (nicknamed "Whitey") learned of Power's discovery and intended to stop it. Whitemane knew that a device such as Power's would, despite Power's good intentions, trigger a chain reaction that would destroy the Earth. Moreover, he knew that Power's device was sought by alien Z'nrx, nicknamed "Snarks," who intended to use it to conquer inhabited worlds. When Snarks captured Dr. Power and his wife Margaret, intending to force him to reveal the secret of his device, Whitemane saved the Powers children, Alex, Julie, Jack, and Katie, from being captured, but he himself was fatally wounded in the process. Dying, Whitemane transferred one of his superhuman powers into each of the four Power children, and asked them to use their new abilities to save their world. Alex received the power to control gravity, and called himself Gee after the common scientific abbreviation for gravitational force ("G"). The four children called themselves the Power Pack. Power Pack thwarted the Snarks, rescued their parents, and destroyed Dr. Power's dangerous matter/anti-matter converter, thereby saving the Earth from destruction. The four children continued to have adventures as Power Pack, assisted by Whitey's Kymellian Smartship, Friday Some time later, Alex was contacted to help save the New Warriors from the Sphinx. For this adventure he was convinced to absorb the powers of his siblings and help the Warriors as Powerpax. After the adventure, he returned his siblings powers and promised not to steal them again. But soon after the Warriors needed his help again, and he broke his promise. This time, however, he realized how dangerous it was for children to be super-heroes, and decided not to give his siblings their powers back, to his family's chagrin. Instead, Alex continued with the New Warriors, changing his codename to Powerhouse out of guilt over the fate of Power Pack. He shared many adventures with the Warriors, but after the team allowed the Smartship Friday to be severely damaged to stop Volx, he quit the Warriors and gave his family their powers back. Retaining the gravity-control power, Alex renamed himself Zero-G and returned to adventuring with his brother and sisters. After a time, Alex and his siblings seemed to stop functioning as a team, most likely due to Lightspeed quitting and moving to California. This was not the end of Alex making his mark on the world, though. He was invited by Reed Richards to join a think tank that would be based out of the Baxter Building and comprised of young geniuses. Although Alex was not the smartest of the team, he became a valued member. He even stayed on when it became the Future Foundation following Johnny Storm's death, and, following Johnny Storm's resurrection and return to the team, when all of the original members of the Fantastic Four got a 4 on their costumes while the rest go numbers as well, Alex got the number 7 on his costume. |
