• Superhuman Physiology: Sabra's skin, muscle and bone are more dense than that of a normal human.

• Damage Transference: Sabra can heal other's damage at Excellent ability, this is a fairly new aspect to her established abilities and she uses it sparingly and only in the most dire of emergencies as her physical attributes drop accordingly. (Spread out over the FASE)
• Lightning Speed: Sabra has the Lightning Speed power at Good rank and can run at 60 mph or 4 areas per round. She can accelerate to that speed in her first round of running.

Law Enforcement Training and as such fires guns at + 1CS to Agility and + 1CS is added to Reason FEATs involving the law or correct legal procedures. As a police officer, she may legally carry a gun and make arrests.

Weapons Specialist and Marksman with her energy quills, firing them at + 2CS to Agility. She also gains a + 1 to Initiative rolls and does not suffer the range penalty when using them.

Martial Arts B: Sabra has Amazing fighting while using unarmed combat.

Aerial Combat: Sabra gets +1CS to fighting and agility while engaged in aerial combat.

Multi-Lingual: Sabra speaks English, Hebrew and a couple different dialects of Arabic fluently.

Sabra is an extremely serious woman, highly driven and extremely direct - even brusque and arrogant. She fiercely supports both Jewish and mutant rights, and will never hesitate to open a can of righteous arse-kicking to support either cause or defend the innocents. She is a cop in both of her identities, but not a traditional one - she is closer to the archetype of the maverick, butt-kicking cop from American cinema. She also has the typical brand of pre-Intifada Israeli nationalism.

Sabra is also very proud - and when she starts talking about her pride or her national pride, she’s both very articulate and pretty much impossible to shut up. Her English tends to be exact, with precise grammar and a feel oscillating between Zionist propaganda and the military.

Much of Sabra’s brash, brusque attitude and aggressiveness in combat comes from the trauma caused by the death of her son Jacob. She’s been devastated and empty since, devoid of hopes and dreams - except for her core beliefs and her job, on both of which she tends to focus with uncommon intensity.

• Flight: Ordinarily Sabra wears a cape that allows her to fly at Amazing speeds (375 mph or 25 areas per round). This cape contains a gravity-polarizing device that can neutralize gravity's effect on her mass. Thrust is provided by the air ejected by a tight array of four electric micro-turbines. Circuitry in her tiara allows her to cybernetically communicate with the cape's wafer-thin, on-board computer system and control her flight. This cape has an optical navigation system which functions as an auto-pilot.

• Energy Quills: Each of Sabra's wrist bracelets contains a neuronic-frequency stunner. These devices can tire quill shaped bundles of low-density plasma and can paralyze the nervous system of any organism almost instantaneously. These quills ignore Body Armor and targets struck by them must make an Endurance FEAT versus Remarkable Intensity Stun. Failure indicates the target is unconscious for 1 to 2 hours. Individuals with an Endurance rank of Monstrous or higher can resist the effects of the quills, and their saving versus the quills' effect can be considered automatic. Called shots to sensitive areas may still affect these individuals. A shot in the ear would force an Endurance FEAT. the failure of which would indicate the target's equilibrium has been affected and all Fighting, Agility, and Movement FEATs are at -2CS for 10 to 100 rounds. Each bracelet projector can fire up to 10 quills before needing to be recharged.

• Combat Uniform: All of the above equipment has been streamlined into a form-fitting combat uniform along with the normal gear of an Israeli police officer:

  • Cell-phone: Specially equiped cell-phone designed by the Israeli government, it functions like a satellite phone and is never out of range. She can use it to receive information, check the internet or play angry birds if the mood strikes her. It is scrambled and shielded vs. E.C.M., E.M.P. and other outside intrusions at Amazing ability.

As Bat-Seraph, Sabra has contacts within the Israeli police. As Sabra an Israeli super-agent, she would have at least one government contact at a national level. Though she battled the Hulk on at least two occasions, she could probably now count on him for help.

Raised on a special kibbutz run by the Israeli government, along with her family, after her mutant power manifested, Ruth was the first superhuman agent created to serve the Mossad (the Israeli Secret Service). She was also a police-woman into the Israeli Police forces of Tel Aviv, as a cover. It was presumably at this time she saved a near-to-death junkie found in alley, granting to her powers at the same time she saved her by transferring her life-energy.

Her first public act as Sabra was to battle the Incredible Hulk, whom she mistakenly believed was working with Arab terrorists operating in Israel. As Hulk left with the body of a young Arab killed by the terrorists, Sabra chase him and at the end of their encounter, she was devastated by Hulk speech about the Israeli-Palestian conflict and the death of Sahad. She was part of the Contest of Champions between Death and the Grandmaster, in Iron Man and the Arabian Knight team, although rivalry between their respective countries made this alliance difficult. Sabra was brought on the site of an hostage taking where the Israelis for Anarchy and Windstorm were assieged in a kibbutz with the deaf son of an American ambassador. She ended-up depowering and leaving agonising Windstorm, and saving the boy. She battled Hulk another time, a few month later, when he and Ulysses targeted Max Meer, a boy susceptible of becoming the next Hitler. Some years later, Sabra's young son was killed in a terrorist attack. She disobeyed orders in order to bring her son's killers to justice.

Years later, Sabra found herself caught up in the events of the anti-mutant campaign known as Operation: Zero Tolerance, gathering Mossad intel to get them to the X-Men. She was seemingly part of Xavier Mutant Underground. Sabra mentioned the fact that Xavier suggested on many occasions for her to join the British team Excalibur. It was at this time Sabra fought along side the X-Men and began to subscribe to the philosophies of Charles Xavier and teaming-up regularly with other mutants: Inquiring on Magneto true identity with Gabrielle Haller, she attacked Westchester in order to capture Joseph, she thought being Magnus, but finally retreat after Maggot's revelations on Joseph true origin. Later, she asked Excalibur's help in order to stop Legion who was threatening Israel. Sabra was formerly a member of the X-Corporation's Paris branch. After Genosha got demolished by Sentinels, she accompanied Charles Xavier and other X-Men members to visit the place, where they eventually found an "insane" Polaris. Sabra was one of a handful of mutants that retained their powers after M-Day.

Sabra joined an O*N*E policing force against unruly mutants constituted of Micromax, Sentinels and Bishop as leader, associated with Iron Man's pro-registration side in the Civil War. In return for Sabra's participation, the Mossad get informations and technology from the United States to proceed the creation of their own registration act. During the Skrull Invasion, Sabra was attacked in Israel by at least two super-skrulls. When Doctor Octopus suspiciously offered to world's leaders to revert the Greenhouse Effect by using a giant web of satellites (which could be used also to speed up the warm-up), Spider-Man distrusted him and started a crusade to destroy Octopus' satellite factories and missile launcher facilities along Black Widow and Silver Sable, he asked for help of other heroes around the world such as Sabra to destroy the plants nearest to them. When Sabra was about to ride one missile to stop it, Crossbones shot her, but it was only a glancing hit.
