Marvel Adventure Paths? Looking for a quick adventure for beginners

Hello Everyone! First time poster here. I used to play Marvel decades ago, along with a few other RPGs. With the holidays coming up, I thought it would be fun to get my middle-aged friends together and play an RPG. Originally I was going to go with a D and D adventure from Paizo. But when I asked if anyone was game, the overwhelming response was to pay Marvel.

Great. I don't mind. But, from a creative standpoint, my brain is not in a super-hero mind set right now. A lot of the old adventures seem dated to me. And in the context of the current Marvel Cinematic Universe, they don't feel quite as "wide-screen" (to steal an Authority descriptor).

So are there other superhero RPGs out there where the adventures can be tweaked to work in the Marvel setting? Anyone have any suggestions of an adventure or heroes for a three hour one and done session?

Thanks!

I run a campaighn (just started) set in an alternative to the world we live in. I took a business that is opening soon, making medical isotopes. Bent reality so that a villian from classic marvel wanted the equipment. Gave the characters a reason to be at a press conference, where the villians used an attack on the press and norms there to be a distraction for a theft attempt.

Could be session one.

Session two tracking down the villians and the stolen equipment

Session three fighting the bad guys to get the equipment back

Well, there's Mutants & Masterminds and lots of accessories and freebies with adventure ideas. But honestly, any tweaking you'll be required to do with that or any other game system-to-Marvel conversion is about the same amount of tweaking you could do with those dated Marvel adventures to make them more suitable to your needs.

That said, here a couple more recent Marvel adventure modules (unofficial obviously, but nicely put together and downloadable in pdf format):
