.Well, characters Juan Montoya 818 and Carmen Sanchez 816, both leapers, both reached leap 300. Like Sam from Quantum Leap, they never returned home from their last leap. We've created new leapers - and they've already got 25 leaps each under their belts. Excelsior.

Marvel 818 has a campaign based in a lower powered Marvel Universe. Some of the players have received mystical tattoos that allow them, on the full and new moons, to astral project out of their bodies and possess the bodies of people in critical situations in various dimensions and time periods. They do not bring their own powers along with other than some very minor mystical powers they have learned along the way, most notably healing others at typical rank and eventually being able to cure diseases or astral project.

When they possess someone they gain that bodies abilities but not memories. They have a mental link back to headquarters and a telepathic device there can read the unconscious minds of the souls now stored in their own bodies. This information sometimes works and sometimes doesn't, based on either the a dice roll or plot device for the adventure.

The "leapers" (One of the characters was a Quantum Leap fan and often references this) have had adventures in the Marvel Movie Universe, DC Universe, Star Trek, James Bond, Lord of the Rings, and a multitude of other movies and television shows. The Tattoos are linked to Agamotto and it is he who decides where they go and why they are there. There is no warning, and the first "leap" upon getting the tattoos is often a surprise. There are also evil versions of the tattoos and the agents sometimes encounter evil opposing agents. Agamotto's motives are unknown and may simply be for entertainment. A notable example was when they met an evil agent aiding the demon from "Fallen".

Spoiler Alert !!! Avengers - End Game. A couple weeks ago, our leapers went through Avengers End Game. But of course one must change up the storyline. Because everyone has or should have seen End Game a dozen times by now. So, instead of Thanos having destroyed ALL the Infinity Stones, he just destroyed the Time Stone. So he was extremely difficult to defeat, but without his army the heroes managed it. However, same dilemma. How to bring everyone back? Again, Ant Man provided the answer - and they went back and borrowed the Time Stone.

In our playing of Avengers : Infinity War, Hulk and Thor were not there. The heroes had previously prevented the destruction of Valhalla and defeated Hela. (That is another story) Hulk had stayed behind in Asgard, and had been living with the Trolls (Ulik and company). So, after the Avengers defeated Thanos and the Infinity Gauntlet was restored, Hulk again put the gauntlet on. It was at this point that the heroes found out that Loki had survived Thanos' culling, and possessed the Hulk. For five years he had been playing possum, ruling the Trolls while Thor ruled a decimated Asgard. Putting aside his plans of uniting the dark races against Asgard, Loki simply snapped his fingers. All the nine realms were his to rule. The heroes were desperate, now having to fight a Loki possessed Hulk wielding the Infinity Gauntlet.

Again, Ant man became the hero. Instead of a violent assault, stealth was proposed. Gnat sized Avengers snuck into Loki's court, and simply flew up the inside of the gauntlet. Ant man shrank Loki while the others joined their wills against him using the gauntlet. Thor grew to full size and Loki was defeated. He used the mind gem to restore freedom to all the entranced Asgardians and the mind gem also bestowed peace upon the Hulk. Enter Professor Hulk who (painfully) restored the rest of the Universe.

It was a fun session.
