Distinctions of versions of Captain America

I'm seeing out there on our beloved internet that there is a bit of a problem in determining different versions of Captain America, such as MCU Cap with that of Cap 616 and as you can see here MCU Cap is directly referenced to Cap 616. It clearly appears to me that MCU Cap is one and the same as Cap 616, just saying.
