I mean, technically not the original TSR that owned AD&D and the MSH system... but they are connected and are producing new RPGs.

Huh. Well, good for them. It's nice to see some old blood still publishing. That Giantland looks interesting. Might give it a try.

Sadly, Giantland looks like an "everything for everyone system", but with the added "bonus" of it costing a bunch of cash to get into. Plus, I love the art and the artists, but it looks so similar to 1st Edition Shadowrun and TORG art it'll be hard to thin of it as not an attempt to recapture some previous glory.

TSR: We used to own D&D!

This is not the TSR, Inc. (Tactical Studies Rules) of yesterday.

Gary Gygax's son purchased the remains of TSR from Wizards of the Coast and founded TSR in 2012, this is old news in the TTRPG Community.

Also, there are TWO TSR Games companies in existence now, neither of which really has anything to do with the original.

TSR

One world of adventure is never enough.

Yeah, that's what the article linked in the original post tells us.

And they're gone again....

I have to say that entire display was just shameful.

I do feel bad for Jim Ward, who created Giant Lands and was not associated with this debacle in anyway. TSR the 3rd was just the vehicle for publishing his new game. I hope this public shame does not tarnish his career, because he has always seemed like a fine upstanding content creator in the TTRPG community.

One world of adventure is never enough.
