So I decided to add Overwatch to my Marvel game. In my campaign they're a covert team of SHIELD Operatives for the express purpose of dealing with meta-humans and Blackwatch is their internal team for dealing with metahumans that have legitimate legal ramifications with their status - like Dr. Doom etc. But you can just handwave all that.

Background: As a young man, McCree had already made a name for himself as a member of the notorious Deadlock Gang, which trafficked in illicit weapons and military hardware throughout the American Southwest, when he and his associates were busted in an Overwatch sting operation. With his expert marksmanship and resourcefulness, he was visited by Gabriel Reyes, the head of Overwatch's Blackwatch covert ops division. Reyes gave him the choice between rotting in a maximum security lockup or joining Blackwatch. McCree chose the latter.

Although he was initially cynical, he came to believe that he could make amends for his past sins by righting the injustices of the world. McCree appreciated the flexibility afforded to the clandestine Blackwatch, unhindered by bureaucracy and red tape. He was given instruction by Reyes

Exo-Arm - McCree’s left-arm gives him RM(30) Strength with that arm only.

The Peacemaker - A custom super high-caliber revolver designed to kill very large “things”. Although it has a high-rate of fire, the recoil is so great that no one with a Strength less than RM(30) can fire it without causing themselves GD(10) blunt damage.

Standard custom rounds for The Peacemaker are depleted uranium rounds that ignores any armor lower than GD(10) and treats any armor greater than GD(10) as -2CS less.

Stunt: Fan the Hammer - McCree on a Yellow Fighting Feat, can unload the entire cylinder in a flurry of shots as a single attack causing AM(50) Piercing damage. This empties the weapon which takes a full round to reload.

Combat Roll - When McCree does a successful Evade with a Yellow Result or better he can reload the Peacemaker simultaneously.

Flashbang Grenades: RM(30) intensity Stun attack.

Deadeye: Limited Combat Sense - IN(40) If McCree spends two rounds in concentration on a Green Result or higher he can make one attack and shoot up to six different targets. If the subsequent attack(s) are successful he can increase the color result by 1 shift. If McCree is forced to move, or take any kind of damage (even if he suffers no damage) during the two-round concentration phase the Deadeye effect is lost. This ability can only be attempted more than once per day on a Yellow Psyche feat.

Known Abilities
Darkforce Generation- RM(30) Reaper has limited, but potent, abilities relating from the Zero-Matter infusion experiments on his body. He is capable of the following powers:

Wraithform - RM(30), Reaper can temporarily transform himself into pure Darkforce. While in this form he is immune physical damage, but has only RM(30) resistance to energy or psionic attacks. His only actions he may take in this form are movement - which he is limited to 3-areas/rd. Reaper can only sustain this form for 3-rounds, after which he must make a Psyche feat each subsequent round to maintain. The wraithform is like inky black smoke, this enables Reaper to enter any area that isn’t air-tight. The use of this power is quite taxing. It costs Reaper 20 health points to even attempt.

Shadow Step - Reaper can teleport up to 4-areas away with RM (30) ability. He may only do this once per round.

Deatheater - GD (10) Reaper absorbs the lifeforce of those he causes damage to if they are within 3-areas. Whenever he causes damage to an opponent, a mote of Darkforce totalling half of the damage caused but no more than GD (10) remains on the ground. If Reaper collects the mote he may absorb it for health.

Deathblossom - RM (30) By feeding on his own lifeforce, Reaper may shift rapidly in and out of the Dark Dimension in close proximity creating Darkforce simulacra of himself, allowing him to attack everyone within reach. Usually this is done with his firearms, but it can equally be done with melee weapons. This power allows him to make his full round of attacks on each target within 2-areas, at the cost of 40-health. He cannot be reduced below 1-health. This ability cannot be used more than once a day without a Red Psyche feat.

Resuscitation - RM (30) due the infusion of Zero-Matter, Reaper has proven to be able to seemingly come back from physical death or massive damage.

Lena Oxton (call-sign:"Tracer") was the youngest person ever inducted into Overwatch's experimental flight program. Known for her fearless piloting skills, she was handpicked to test the prototype of a teleporting fighter, the Slipstream. During its first test-flight, the aircraft's teleportation matrix malfunctioned and it disappeared along with its pilot. Lena was presumed dead. She reappeared months later, but her ordeal had greatly changed her: her molecules had been desynchronized from the flow of time. Tracer wears a suit created by Overwatch containing the device called a Chronal Accelerator that allows her to regulate and utilize the chronal field her body produces.

Known Powers
Chronal Accelerator: Time Manipulation UN(100) This device within Tracer’s armor allows her to focus the unique properties of her condition to produce a number of powerful, but limited, effects. Tracer’s body naturally produces a “chronal field” that allows her to incrementally constrict or dilate time itself. Tracer may roll any Dodge, or Evade check on the Unearthly Column against foe(s) that she is aware of. Tracer may roll on the Unearthly column for checks to make Multiple Actions.

She may also use these micro-time dilation/constriction effects for these Power Stunts:
Blink - She may make short-range teleportation hops of no more than 3-areas with MN(75) ability as a single action.
Quantum Rewind - Tracer has the MN(75) ability to travel back in time exactly two-rounds. This ability will put Tracer (and Tracer only) physically in the same space she inhabited 2-rounds ago. She will have the same physical and mental status she had at that moment. If there is a physical object in that space she has Rewinded back to, then she must make an Endurance check on the Kill Result table. Note: this ability does not change time for anyone else - only Tracer. As a side effect of the Quantum Rewind, she retains complete knowledge of the two-rounds she skipped back from.

The damage is 1-area, and all connecting areas take RM (30) Stun effects.

Firestrike- Plasma Generation IN (40) By channeling the thrusters of the Rocket Hammer forward the hero can get forth a blast of super-heated plasma up to 3-areas away.

Earthshatter Strike- Powerful chassis reinforces the power of the Rocket Hammer to enable the hero to deliver an AM(50) Stunning shockwave in a 2-area radius. This also deliver IN (40) force damage.

Rocket Charge - The thrusters of the Dragonslayer armor propel the hero 10-areas in a straight line. They may make Charging attack on every opponent in a straight line. This is treated as a Charging Attack +1CS, and each person hit must make a Slam check. Anyone that fails that roll is considered grappled and must continue with the charge until it contacts something large enough to stop it or it ends, at which point they must make a Stun check. Any object struck while Rocket Charging inflicts its material strength in damage to those caught in the charge +2 points per Area crossed.

The duration of this effect is 2-rounds on the Green Result, 4-rounds on a Yellow, 6-rounds on a Red. If Soldier 76 takes any damage during the round of scanning, this effect is spoiled.

Excalibur Pulse Rifle

This prototype weapon designed by Vanguard Industries is a multi-purpose weapon designed for enhanced agents of the Watchtower Program. Each drum of ammo contains multiple types of ammo that can be fired interchangeably at will by the AXIS Tactical system. The Excalibur chambers Armor Piercing, High Explosive, and Non-Lethal Composite rounds.

The undercarriage of the Excalibur houses the Helix mini-rocket system. The Helix rockets have a range of IN(40) and do IN(40) AE damage. Upon impact the kinetic shockwave of the missiles cause microfractures in armor lowering any Body Armor by -1CS green/-2CS yellow/-3CS red attack result. This effect lasts for 3-rounds.

The fully automatic weapon is designed to work in conjunctions with the AXIS Tactical Visor, it will not function normally for those without the implants from the Watchtower Program (though theoretically this could be hacked - requires an IN(40) intensity Computers check).

Biotic Field Generator
This device when activated increases the healing factor for most mammalian biological organisms in the same area. Upon activation, it will instantly heal RM(30) points of damage. Can only be used three times in a 24-hour period. It takes 8hrs to recover a charge. The Biotic Field Generator can be programmed to target specific biophysical signatures. Soldier 76 usually only has it programmed for himself and those within Overwatch. In this mode it will only benefit those signatures and no one else.

Body Armor - Soldier 76’s uniform provides EX (20) protection against physical and energy related effects.

Osmium Gauntlets - Soldier 76’s gloves are lined with Osmium Steel AM(50)

Defense Matrix - Projected Force-field that pilot can target in a 45-degree cone vs. ranged attacks. It grants AM(50) protection from all attacks for 3-rds. While active the Exo-Frame cannot use its autocannons. Defense Matrix takes 10-rounds to recharge for 1-round of activation time.

Fusion Cannons - RM (40) Force damage 6-area range. These dual auto-cannons fire force bolts that deal terrible damage when fired in bursts. They can be focused fired into an Area Effect for IN(40) if within 1-area.

Micro-Missles - INC (40) HE explosive damage 1-area effect up to 8-areas away.

Booster - Lightning Speed IN(40) Pilot can boost up to 7-areas per round in any direction in a single round. This can be used as a charging attack. The Booster takes 3-rounds to recharge.

Self-Destruct - AM (50) Energy explosion 1-area radius, -1CS for all adjoining areas per area up to a max of 3-areas for RM (30). Detonation sequence takes a minimum of a full round to activate and detonation can be pre-set to activate up to 10-rounds later. Pilot can use the mech’s full array of abilities including to auto-eject from the mech.

Remote Pilot Tracking - Mech can home in on the pilot with UN (100) skill. The range of this feature is 200-miles.

Background: The Skrull attack on the Australian military energy research facility and subsequent the detonation of its fusion core forever altered the landscape of the Outback. After the detonation, the area was transformed into a harsh, irradiated wasteland, littered with debris and the twisted fragments of the ruined facility, and unlivable to most.

But there were some who survived. Calling themselves the Junkers, they scavenged the husk of the research facility and formed a lawless, cutthroat society in its shadow. Junkrat was one of them, eking out a living reclaiming metal and components from the ruins. Like many others, he was affected by the lingering radiation. This touch of madness made him ideal for handling dangerous explosives, a love which he turned into an obsession.

He came to notoriety when he discovered an extremely valuable secret in the bones of the research facility. Though few knew the nature of what he found, he ran his mouth constantly, alluding to his discovery. As a result, he was pursued by bounty hunters, gangs, and opportunists wherever he went. He was cornered in a Junkertown bar by enforcers from the Queen of Junkertown herself. He'd blabbed on about his 'treasure' that she'd come to suspect that he was hiding something. Junkrat, desperate to get out of his situation, loudly announced that he'd share the location of the treasure...for a 10% share! He hoped that the man drinking at the bar would take him up on his offer, but he didn't respond, causing Junkrat to raise the offer to 25%. The man, whose name was Roadhog, came to Junkrat's aid, but more as an excuse to pummel the Queen's enforcers rather than aiding Junkrat himself. Roadhog grudgingly agreed to be Junkrat's personal bodyguard in exchange for a fifty-fifty share of the spoils. Junkrat tried to haggle him down, even going as high as 28%, but eventually relented at a 50% cut.

For some reason, Junkrat and Roadhog were kicked out of Junkertown, following a string of incidents that included stealing the Queen of Junkertown's money, blowing up her summer shack, and a bar brawl (possibly the same one where they both met). Whatever the reason, Junkrat blamed Roadhog for it. Still, as Junkrat was well aware, there were two things that solved every problem—money, and explosives. That gave him an idea...

With Roadhog in tow, Junkrat left the Outback, and embarked upon an international crime spree leaving nothing but havoc and bedlam in their wake.

On a successful grapple, the trap will hold with EX (20) strength and do GD (10) per round on a full grapple.

Rip-Tire - Junkrat’s mechanical UGV that moves at 4-areas per round. It has wall-crawling capabilities (but is limited to 3-areas per round vertically), and can remote detonate for IN(40) edged-damage in a 2-area radius. The device takes a single round to set up and is made of EX (20) material. If it sustains more than 20-damage before it is detonated, it will be destroyed.

Background
As the youngest son of Sojiro Shimada, the master of the Shimada ninja clan, Genji lived a life of luxury and privilege. Many within the clan considered the carefree Genji to be a dangerous liability, and they resented his father for coddling and protecting him. Swift-Strike - On a Yellow Fighting check, Genji can charge forward up to 3-areas and strike every opponent in his path (GM’s discretion). This is the only action Genji may do in the round.
Dragon Blade - By channeling his body’s internal energy stores into his katana, Genji may boost the damage of his weapon to AM (50) for three-rounds. He may try to maintain this for additional rounds by making a Stun check every subsequent round, but he may not spend Karma on these rolls. If he fails the check the Dragon Blade returns to normal (and Genji suffers the full effects of the roll)

Photon Projector - A highly sophisticated device that allows Symmetra to control light and shape it into an actual solid structure. The device is locked to those with the proper security access (IN (40) intensity feat to hack). The Photon Projector has a high-resolution tracking system that grants its wielder +3CS on attacks within 1-area.

Light Generation - The device can project light with AM (50) luminosity with the following stunts.
Holographic projection IN (40) - Illusionary constructs.
Rapid-Fire Tracking Laser - IN (40) Energy damage. This beam once targeted will auto-track towards its target but will never hit the wielder. This feature cannot be used in conjunction with any other active power due to its power-requirements.
Energy Solidification: Create basic shapes of RM (30) strength. She can create mobile shields and personal force-fields.

Teleporter: Portal - UN (100) Range 20-areas. This mobile teleport pad once set up allows short-range movement by photon-entanglement. Mobile Laser Turrets x6: Energy Generation RM (30) Range 1-Area. These small baseball-sized mini-turrets can be affixed to any surface with EX (20) strength. They will auto-target designated enemies with MN (75) accuracy. The Mobile Laser Turrets have smart-sensors that will combine attacks if necessary to overcome defenses.

Mobile Shield Generator - Personal Force Field EX (20) 2-Area range.This device when placed on the ground projects personal force-fields around designated targets. The maximum number of such force-fields that the generator can project is six. The Mobile Shield Generator is IN (40) material strength, and has a RM (30) force-field of its own when deployed.

I really love the work you put into these writeups. I'll never play the game because I hate FPS games but the setting looks awesome.

The amount of lore they put in is *astounding*. Originally it was supposed to be an MMO - but ultimately the cut it down to the funnest part. That's Overwatch.

While it IS an FPS... it's nothing like a traditional FPS game. I find a lot of people that don't like FPS games love Overwatch because a lot of characters don't require pin-point accuracy at all - some you don't even aim. Some are just melee. For the price it's hard to beat. But honestly my favorite parts are the animated movies. They're RIDICULOUSLY good. It's worth watching if nothing else. And it feels *very* "Incredibles/Marvel".

Background: Akande Ogundimu was born into a well-regarded Wakandan family, heir to its technology company Talontech. A highly intelligent and charismatic figure, Ogundimu helped to expand his family's business and position it for the future while dedicating his free time to his first love: competitive martial arts. He trained in traditional African fighting styles, including Dambe and Gidigbo, as well as in wrestling and other modern combat systems, incorporating the most effective techniques into his repertoire. Ogundimu competed in tournaments all over the continent, utilizing his intuition and ability to read opponents alongside his tremendous speed and strength.

Eventually, Akande lost his right arm in the aftermath of the Skrull Invasion, and his martial arts career was finished before he had reached his prime. His company's cybernetic prosthetics allowed him to recover from his injuries, even making him stronger, but these enhancements rendered him ineligible for competition. He tried to devote himself to his business with the same zeal that he had for fighting, but he found nothing that could fill the void... until he was given a new opportunity by Akinjide Adeyemi, better known to the world as the second Doomfist, the Scourge of Wakanda.

Adeyemi offered Ogundimu the chance to fight with him as a mercenary. Initially wary, Ogundimu accepted, and discovered that he now had an arena in which he could unleash his enhanced capabilities. Eventually, Adeyemi brought him into the Talon organization. Talon's belief that humanity would be made stronger through conflict resonated with Ogundimu's personal experiences. Moreover, Talon's power struggles presented a new challenge that allowed him to use his talent in the boardroom along with his cunning as a combatant.

Adeyemi was a useful asset to Talon, but the organization saw far greater potential in Ogundimu, with his intelligence and his ability to inspire as a commander. While Adeyemi was content to profit from raids on Wakanda, Ogundimu had a grander vision. This difference in aspiration would lead Ogundimu to kill his teacher and take on the mantle of Doomfist, along with the eponymous gauntlet.

As the new Doomfist, Ogundimu rose high in Talon and helped to orchestrate a conflict that the organization hoped would someday engulf the world.

The Doomfist - A bio-mimetic alloy construct that can affix itself to a limb, cybernetic or just flesh and greatly enhance the power of that limb. The Doomfist offers its wielder the following abilities.

Meteor Strike - By channeling the Force Cannon energy into the Rocket sub-systems, The Doomfirst can leap up to 5-areas and do an area-wide Force Attack for MN(75) damage. All targets in the area automatically suffer a Slam Result. The Doomfist cannot use the Force Cannon in the same or previous round, nor can the Rocket Punch be recharging for this ability to be used.

Seismic Slam - By channeling the Meteoric Strike into the ground, the Doomfist can channel AM(50) damage in a straight line up to 5-areas away. Any targets directly in the path of the blow takes full damage. Targets in the same area take IN(40) Force damage as the shockwave passes through each area.

Background: Long before she took up the alias "Sombra," Olivia Colomar was one among many of the children orphaned on the streets of Mexico City by the cartel-wars. She likewise proved adept at manipulating individuals to suit her own ends.

After Colomar was taken in by Mexico's Los Muertos cartel, she aided it in its self-styled revolution against the government, performing hacks against said government on their behalf. Los Muertos believed that the government of Mexico had primarily benefited the rich and the influential, leaving behind those who were most in need of assistance. Commissioner Rivera was one such example, when she brought him a basket of bread straight to his desk, which gave her the opportunity to access his computer. She came to realize that knowledge was power, and so, she kept hacking—politicians, corporations, governments, famous people; all were in her domain of inquiry. The retrieval of information became an addiction, and her hacks became more audacious over time. Following her many conquests, Colomar was supremely confident in her skills, but she was caught unprepared when she stumbled into the web of a global conspiracy—one that had also noticed her, Hydra. With her security irreparably compromised, Colomar was forced to delete all traces of her identity and went into hiding where she eventually found herself in the employ of one of her own clients - Reaper of Blackwatch.

As one of the world's most notorious hackers, Sombra uses information to manipulate those in power. Sombra's skills include computer hacking and cryptography these are activities she greatly enjoys, to the point where the desire to get past locks and solving mysteries is ingrained in her personality. She is a known associate of Reaper, specializing in espionage and intelligence assessment. She is equipped with devices that allow hacking of technology just through touch. This includes a cybernetic graft implanted along her spine. which basically makes her a living computer. She is a loner emotionally, finding it difficult to make friends (outside coercion).Her personal calling card is a sugar skull.

Known Powers
Cybernetic Telegraphy Implant - This device has been grafted directly into Sombra’s spine. Its enhanced neuro-wiring runs the length of her body to her hands, optic and auditory nerves enhancing her capacity to access and control automated systems. It is not known where this graft came from, nor who implanted it within her. It provides the following powers:

Electronic Counter Measures: AM(50) - Any system internal or connected to Sombra via her neuro-interface nodes are firewalled immediately against intrusion or counter-intrusion. It also provides Power Rank Invisibility to all forms of electronic detection.

Computer Links: AM(50) - The Graft detects any computerized system within 8-areas and relays all necessary data including remote linking capacities directly to Sombra. She can hack any computerized system with AM(50) Intensity skill. If trying to hack a powersuit/cybernetic device the victim may resist with Endurance or Reason (if they’re pitting their computer-skills against her).

Holographic Visor: AM(50) - Sombra’s visor produces a holographic AR-reconstruction of the areas around her. It effectively gives her X-ray Vision for 2-areas in all directions at AM(50) strength.

Thermo-Optic Camouflage Field: IN(40) The implant triggers Sombra’s adrenal glands to and feeds off of her own bio-electric impulses. This allows the implant to produce a field which allows Sombra to bend light and even heat signatures around her for a brief amount of time providing IN(40) Rank Invisibility to any visual sources of detection via Electromagnetism (this includes normal vision). This ability lasts up to ten-minutes. But once deactivated it takes at least 5-rounds before it can be-activated without a Yellow Psyche check.

EMP Pulse: Sombra can overcharge her Cybernetic Telegraphy Graft to produce a 1-area wide EMP pulse MN(75) power. Any electronic device or energy-based forcefield (including Psionic) will suffer a Monstrous Intensity attack. This will fry most electronics, any robotic/mechanical/cybernetic beings in the area will suffer MN(75) Energy Damage. Anyone wearing a Powersuit will take a direct MN(75) intensity attack directed at their armor. Anyone directly affected as such must make a Stun check. Using this attack forces Sombra to also make a Stun check. Her gear is immune to the EMP Pulse effect. This effect can only be used once every 12-hrs.

Devices
Translocator - Small baseball-sized beacon that puts out a signal to a range of 10-Areas. The beacon is keyed to Sombra’s Quantum-Transport System in her belt. It allows her to Teleport to the beacon with UN(100) accuracy. The device is made of steel, but is fragile with a material strength of GD(10).

Machine Pistol - GD(10) Damage, 8-area range. Can burst full-auto for EX (20). Clip 8. Can use a variety of ammo as necessary (AP, HE, etc).
