Forum date format

I notice that the dates on posts follow the US format of month/day/year. For those of us that are from countries where the standard format is day/month/year, this is confusing. Is there a way to add the option to change this format in our control center settings?

What if it had the full date every time, like as long as it had the day of the month, the full name of the month and the full year? For example either 1 February 2011, or February 1, 2011, or February, 2011, 01? Would that still be strange depending upon what order everything was in?

When the month is a name it's less weird, as most of the weirdness comes from the fact you're confusing the month and the year. Though putting the year at the beginning or in the middle would weird everybody (well, unless you're going for something like 2011-02-16.

I would agree. If possible have the month stated. That way it is not as confusing.

Am I correct to assume this problem has already been fixed? I can't find anywhere that doesn't have the date spelled out. I know I've been gone a long time, but I haven't heard from The Skycutter in forever, and just sort of lost track after a while.

As have I.... Thing is with life and time. One holds you up why the other gradually beats you up!!! Every now and again you get free just long enough to follow up on something you like until it grabs hold of you again.
