Equipment
Prosthetic Feet- They have two joints: a ball and socket at his ankle and a hinge at the ball of his foot. One set is his everyday feet that he uses for walking and a very light jog. The second set is used when doing acrobatics that don't shatter when he sticks the landings.
Retractable cane (2)- He has these with him at all times in case his feet break and left with no others at the time to use, so he can use them as improvised crutches.
Flaws
Born with no feet, just stumps at the end of his calves right above where the ankle would have been.

History: Bobby was born without feet and was outfittted with his first prosthetic that was a single piece. At 2 years old, he made his way into the kitchen and thought a small granite box was a cookie container. When he pushed on it, he found tiny pebbles fell away. So, he kept pushing and cracked it open, only to find there were no cookies. His parents came in, seeing his sad face and the granite pieces and thought he hurt himself. Finding he was fine, they asked him and he said 'cookie'.
When he was 3, he was given his first prosthetic that had the 2 bendable joints that his current prosthetics have. When he was 4, he was playing in the back yard with a toy dump truck when a turtle wandered nearby. Bobby stopped playing with his truck and crawled to the turtle. His mother came out and squatted next to him, asking if he wanted to bring his friend in for lunch. He picked it up and his mother held her hand out. But, when he let go of the turtle, it fell through her hand and landed in the grass, the turtle drawing its legs, tail and head into its shell.
His parents took him to the doctors, claiming it was wanting to do a routine checkup and upon finding there was nothing medically wrong with him, bought some electrical equipment to try to find out what was going on. They went through several devices before finding the magnetic field scanner gave them some answers. They had him redo the granite breaking and the turtle thing again and found the magnetic field of the objects changed, but they also found the surrounding area had its magnetic field change by the amount the field of the object changed. They gave him a magnet to hold and found it wouldn't stay in his hand. Bobby thought it was funny the magnet would fly away.
The kids laughed at him in kindergarten when they found out about his prosthetic, so he retreated from being with the other kids and sat up in his room reading. He found a book on Harry Houdini when he was 6 and got his first sleight of hand book the next day. He practiced his magic tricks for his parents and for his birthday, they got him a big stage magic set and he's been hooked ever since.
When he was 7, he got his first informal gig performing tricks at parties of younger kinds. Objects being destroyed went over real well with the boys and showing he could pull off another trick by passing through things was the thing to do for girls. He first demonstrated for a couple of parents, Bobby's parents saying he came up with the prestidigitation after reading Houdini and getting a magic set and that's how he got the jobs early on. His parents said he'd have to be paid, but it'd be better and cheaper than a lot of other things they could do for their kids' parties. Word of mouth spread through the area and Bobby got a lot more jobs. This became his part time job up through high school. He didn't do the talent show, but he did use his powers for pranks and to impress girls.
After high school, he wanted to go further with stage magic, so he enrolled in community college, learning to work with computer repair and programming. He wanted to be a very popular magician and turned to his favorite band for inspiration: KISS. Bobby had all their albums and modeled several aspects of his future shows after them. He threw in acrobat training to give himself a wide range of areas for possibilities and got fitted for a stronger set of feet to stick the landings.
Why not a superhero: Like Peter Parker, he started making money with his powers. He spent too much time on it that his grades were slipping. Well, his math teacher asked who had taken the teacher copy of a test and he looked at the boy next to him, who was smiling evilly. The bell rang and Bobby looked in his bag, seeing the test. He quickly left the room, but peered around the doorway and heard the other kid tell their teaching he saw Bobby take it. Shocked, he walked quickly down the hall. In another hall and stopping in front of the other boy's locker, Bobby quickly looked around, and with seeing no one watching him, put his left hand on the locker and pushed the stolen test through with the other.
When he pulled it out, he saw the teacher and the other boy round the corner, heading for him. The Principle came up from Bobby's side, saying hi and not seeing the teacher approaching. Looking surprised at her angered face, the principle asked what was wrong. She said Bobby's been accused of stealing a teacher's copy. Well, he quickly said it wasn't him and opened his bag for all to see. The Principle went through it, not finding the test and Bobby said 'what if he stole it'. The other boy scoffed and said it wasn't him and opened his bag, too. He also said he'd open his locker. So he did, turning away from it and the 2 adults and Bobby looked in. The teacher's copy sat on top of the books with the phrase 'Teacher's Copy' in big red ink at the top of the page.
The adults stared at the other boy and looking confused, he looked in and saw the copy. He looked at them, proclaiming his innocence and the math teacher yanked out the teacher copy, closing the locker, and the principle motioned with his finger to follow him. The boy glared at Bobby as the trio left and Bobby held his breath. When they were away, he let it out loudly and slumped against the row of lockers. He closed his eyes and said out loud 'I can't be a superhero'.
And to this day he can't be one. There's an increased chance of death and he can make money performing. He has negative feelings about dying. He lost a cousin because he advised her to come out, only to run into the same mutant he had come across a year earlier. The cops killed the mutant, but Bobby still has nightmares about him.
