hello all, i decided to bring my old characters out of the archive an dust em off. so for anyone that hasn't seen em yet,
I present ::::::::::













The Darklings


Alpha, Beta, and Gamma are clones of Sir Agustine Darque. Darque lived on a parallel universe's Earth in the 1800's, where he was a Genuis of the highest magnitude. He was consumed with a insatiable scientific curiosity and a thirst for power. He was a sadist and a meglomanic, lusting after world domination. But as he grew older he began to fear his impending death and turned his formidable mind toward defeating death itself. After many years of research, he created the Lazerous Machine. This machine produces mindless clones of Darque, and then downloads his mind into each clone simultaniously. In effect being one mind in several bodies at once.
Currently, Darque maintains his consciousness in 4 bodies(Which are greatly altered from his original long dead body by his genetic genuis). The fourth designated, Theta, stays at his main base of operations. There are at least 9 Lazerous machines Scattered throughout the galaxies, which will ressurrect Darque's clones in the event of any of their deaths.
Darques genuis encompasses many areas besides genetics, including conputers and weapons systems, Physics, higher math, Space flight, chemistry, metallurgy, and many others. Basically any scientific
area of knowledge needed to further the plot. His/their mental abilities means that he can aquire knowledge at a prodigious rate, and retain this knowledge virtually forever. Telepathically linked, the Darklings can work with a greater speed and accuracy than a much larger group of techies. Darque's goal is Universal conquest, the Quintessential Mad Scientist\Dictator, picture him as a combination of Ming the Merciless crossed with a group of AIM techies. Darque is beginning to suspect that Dagon(another supervillian he is allied with) is much more dangerous than anyone suspects, and has already taken steps to protect himself if needed...

Each of Darque's bodies have identical Stats. and Powers.

POWERS


1---Telepathy(Rem. rank)---Power stunts--Mind blast, mind probe, and hypnosis of -1cls.

2---Teleportation(good rank, but with unlimited range to anyplace another Darkling is at, including crossdimensional. Otherwise, range is good.)
Not affected by Power sync.

3---Resistance to Power Control(Incredible)

4---Body Resistance(Ex.)

5---Heightened Senses(Rem)
Not affected by Power sync.

6---Protected Senses(Rem)
Not affected by Power sync.

7---Heightened Intelligence\Parallel Processing
( because they are really one mind in multiple bodies, they experience what each other does, but this is normally on a subconscious level. The info is only retrieved if the right stimuli is triggered. But they can actively link their minds to achieve greater levels of efficiency. If two clones are actively linking, they get a +1cls to their Reason, three clones get +2cls, and all four clones get +3cls. max) This power lasts for a number of Turns equal to Base Endurance(without cls) or until termininated. Can be activated three times in a 24 hour period, but then each mind must rest for at least 6 hours. this power is not affected by their Power Sync power or their weakness.

8---Psiscreen---(Amazing strength base) This also helps prevent feedback when one clone experiences something painful while they are actively mentally linking.

9---Heightened Intuition--(When actively mentally linking, they can heighten their intuition. Extra eyes and ears are less likely to miss something, or be surprised. when two clones are linked, intuition goes up by +1 cls, and when 3 or more clones link, then they get a +2 cls max)Not affected by Power sync.

10---telekinesis---(Rem) power stunts of cryokinesis, pyrokinesis at -1cls, and assemble complex machinery at +1cls
11---Mind Link---unique power--No rank, as each clone is of one mind, each is linked to the other ones on a primal level, range is unlimited and even crosses dimensions. this link cannot be blocked or broken outside of brain death. Each subconsciously knows the experiences and knowledge of the others, unless they are actively linking, then the process becomes conscious, and no special stimuli is required to access the other clones memories.Not affected by Power sync.

12---Bio-Blasts---(Rem. Rank) Range Pr.

13---Power Sync---(their Bio-electric fields operate on the same bio-frequency. When they are in range of each other and they wish, they can amplify their powers. If all three of the clones are within a one area cube of each other, they each recieve a +3 cls to their personal powers max(unless otherwise stated), if within a 5 area cube, they get a +2 cls, and within a 10 area cube, a +1cls. Also, if two of them are within a 5 area cube of each other, they can get a +1cls, but this does not get any stronger at the one area range.

14---Invulernability to Vampirism.(This is a recent genetic addition to Darques genetic pattern)
Not affected by Power sync.

15---Serial Immortality---Not really a power, if one or more of the clones are killed, a Lazerous Machine will automatically spawn a new clone. There are at least 9 clones ready at any given time. Not affected by Power sync.


Weakness


1---Like any amplifiers, Darque's clones take the chance of overloading or burning out if they use their Power Sync for too long. After a number of rounds equal to their Base Endurance, each clone must make a green endurance feat based off their base endurance. A failure means minus one endurance rank. Every 3 rounds after, another endurance roll must be made(green feat). When endurance reaches shift zero, death results from systemic shock.

Skills


Martial arts--- The Darklings practice a devestating form of Cooperative fighting. For each clone fighting a single opponet, they each gain a +1 cls to their fighting, with +3cls maximum.
Individually, they have martial arts a, b, and c.

The darklings also have weapons specialist, in any weapons system or powered armor they designed,
and weapons specialist with blunt weapons.
Also, repair/tinkering


Talents

Science---All
Pilot---spacecraft, automobiles, aircraft.

anything else that the Gm wishes.
