Most of these were created while playing City of Heroes, though some of those were created decades ago for MSH and given second life in the greatest superhero MMO ever. Let's see if a little fancy editing can bump my first character into her own post after this one so I can change the subject line to make each character easier to search for in the future.

EQUIPMENT
Katana: EX (20) edged damage. EXCELLENT material strength sword.

TALENTS
Martial Arts (A,B,E), Weapon Specialist (katana), Military, Pilot, Repair/Tinkering

CONTACTS
U.S. Navy

Real Name: Lt. Ginger Allen
Aliases: None
Identity: Secret; known to high-ranking military personnel
Occupation: Naval pilot; semi-retired
Age: 27
Sex: Female
Height: 5' 3"
Weight: 118 lbs.
Eyes: Blue
Hair: Blonde
Education: College degree
Citizenship: United States of America
Legal Status: No criminal record; currently inactive reserve military status
Power Category: Modified Human
Source of Powers: Surgically implanted adrenal-stimulators & experimental chemical treatments
Appearance: Ginger Allen is a vibrant, physically fit woman bearing no apparent scars on her body despite a devastating plane crash that nearly took her life. She wears her hair cut short but stylish.

ORIGIN: Ginger Allen, code-named Gingersnap, was an ace pilot with the U.S. Navy. While flying a training mission, her squadron was attacked by an unidentified enemy aircraft and she was the only survivor. Unable to successfully eject, she managed to radio her position before making a controlled crash landing on a nearby island. The unknown assailant having left her for dead, she was quickly found and her near-death condition stabilized. Still comatose, a choice was made to utilize a new "super soldier" technique that was being tested to give her a better chance of recovering faster so that her superiors could learn what had happened to her squadron. The process quickly revived Ginger enough to give a vague description of the aircraft that quickly overpowered six F-18 fighters with ease. Unfortunately, her answers weren't enough to satisfy and Ginger was put on inactive duty so she could fully recover while the incident was further investigated. Soon after, Ginger realized that not only had she healed completely from the crash, but scars from old injuries had disappeared as well, and she had almost superhuman reflexes and stamina. Having nothing else to do, she resumed her former martial arts training and katana training. Quickly realizing that she had extraordinary potential to help others, she put together a costume and took to fighting local crime under her Navy call sign of Gingersnap. Her actions, however, were being observed by her superiors, and they occasionally recruited her for clandestine missions which she gratefully accepted in hopes of getting a chance to get back in the skies and maybe get a second chance at the mysterious plane which killed her friends.

PERSONALITY: Gingersnap fights with determination, like a woman possessed. Being grounded as she is, with all of the stamina that she has gained, she feels a need to vent her frustrations and can often be quite brutal without being lethal. Aside from this aggressive behavior, she is good-natured and friendly, genuinely interested in helping others.

ENEMIES: Pre-City of Heroes, she had no specific enemies and fought Spider-Man & Daredevil street-level opponents.

COMMENTS: My second MSH character, originally just a martial artist. When City of Heroes came along, I started her as a Martial Arts/Regeneration scrapper and decided to remake her as a Katana wielder since I had a 3 other martial arts characters and wanted a little diversity. In City of Heroes, I advanced her to level 26 amid a whole mess of characters across 2 accounts and various servers. I never really saw level 50 as a goal; it was just something that happened while playing the characters I liked most.

She looks like she could manage well in the low to middish-level games, although she could definitely use some body armor of some sort instead of Wolverine-ing things. Game-wise though wouldn't she deal Excellent edged damage with her sword rather than Good?

Yes, to the sword damage; My mistake. As for armor, sometimes with the bulletproof armoring as shown in the picture, but it was an add on through Resources rather than a power.

Health: 120
Karma: 40

KNOWN POWERS
Telekinesis: AM (50) ability to move things with the power of his mind, however the limitation for this power is that Major Muscle must be physically touching whatever he is trying to affect.
- Strength Enhancement: UN (100) for the purpose of lifting, moving, bending, or breaking objects. Major Muscle can add his telekinetic prowess to his physical might, however he hasn't managed to translate this into direct combat damage for melee attacks, but he can Grapple with the increased Strength as well as throw objects.
- Flight: EX (20) air speed

EQUIPMENT
Body Armor: AM (50) protection against physical damage, and RM (30) protection against energy damage.

TALENTS

Real Name: Fred (last name unrevealed)
Aliases: None
Identity: Secret
Occupation: Scientist / Researcher, self-employed
Age: 30
Sex: Male
Height: 6' 3"
Weight: 300 lbs.
Eyes: Blue
Hair: Black
Education: Some college
Citizenship: United States of America
Legal Status: No criminal record
Power Category: Modified Human
Source of Powers: Radiation from an unidentified meteorite
Appearance: Fred was once a thinner, shorter man but has grown in stature as well as physical definition since his exposure to the energies of an unknown meteorite that fell to Earth. Some say he looks more like an action movie stunt man more than a scientist, and although he no longer needs glasses, he still wears his old glasses (replaced with non-corrective lenses) when in his civilian identity because of the belief that no one would suspect a guy with glasses to be a superhero. To this end, when not wearing his armor, he tries to dress in clothing a little too big for him to better conceal his muscle definition.

ORIGIN: When a radioactive meteorite crashed into the Earth near his home, Fred saw an opportunity for discovery and finally making a name for himself in the scientific community despite never having finished his college degree. When he first approached the glowing rock, he detected radioactive emissions with a Geiger counter and quickly hurried home to cobble together a protective suit of armor with a hazmat suit under layer. He had crude armor pieces already fashioned as part of another project, the desire to build his own exoskeletal power suit. Feeling secure in his protection, Fred approached the meteorite and started chipping away at it for samples, rushing his efforts because he was certain others would come before he could finish and take "his discovery" away from him. Unknown to him, his hazmat layer was punctured and the radiation of the rock quickly faded as it entered his body and began to change him. Soon, Fred was wracked with pain as his body was physically gaining mass giving him great strength and stamina. Staggering away with his samples, others did soon arrive to take his precious meteorite away, though it had become an inert rock at that point. In addition to great physical prowess, Fred learned that he could also move things telekinetically as long as he was in physical contact with them. His first effort was augmenting his physical strength to lift things, allowing him to move objects as if he had Unearthly Strength. In time, with great concentration, Fred has also used his telekinesis to mentally shape and upgrade the effectiveness of his battle armor. It wasn't quite what he'd dreamed of, but in some ways to him it was better. When aliens came looking for the power source they had pursued across the galaxy to Earth, Fred took the fight to them and called himself Major Muscle when reporters arrived in the aftermath of his victory.
PERSONALITY: As a self-proclaimed man of science, Major Muscle is very inquisitive. However, he is quick to turn to the internet or even old science books to look up things he should know. Many of his theories are more wild imagining and sound like sci-fi rationalizations more than science fiction B-movies. When challenged, he might remember a few real details, but will often defer to answering questions later when he's had "more time to analyze the situation."
HISTORY: Aside from a variety of alien explorers and enemies, Major Muscle's only real supervillain fight has been with the Rhino, whom he bested with some difficulty.
ENEMIES: Rhino, various aliens, and (kinda) anyone with half a clue in the science game.
COMMENTS: Major Muscle was my very first MSH character, created back in 1989 with the Ultimate Powers Book. In addition to his touch-only telekinesis limitation, the GM also determined that use of his power caused whatever he was affecting (including himself when boosting his strength) would glow bright red. After his initial solo origin adventure, I joined 2 other players who both wound up playing alien bounty hunters who came to Earth pursuing the first aliens Fred fought. As the different gamers in our group took turns running games, Major Muscle got pushed aside as new heroes were created, because MSH was AWESOME!! (and still is.) Years later when the City of Heroes MMO was introduced, Major Muscle was reborn into the world of Paragon City as part of a team called Command Five --all my own alternate characters, so the team never actually worked together outside of stories written. The last such story written had the team disbanding to go off and do their own things, not really getting along with each other well enough to work together as a real team. Thus, although they know each other, they don't really count as contacts. Gingersnap above was also a part of this group but the least interested in it, often accepting invites to other supergroups and rejoining Command Five when I the player ended up disillusioned with those groups for any number of reasons. If there was anything resembling a leader of this group, Major Muscle would be the closest thing to it despite each character having been role-played as if the team and everything about it was their own idea.

JUSTICEHAWK

F - RM (30)
A - EX (20)
S - GD (10)
E - EX (20)
R - GD (10)
I - RM (30)
P - EX (20)

Health: 80
Karma: 60
Resources: EX (20)
Popularity: 10

KNOWN POWERS
None

EQUIPMENT
Shield: Remarkable material strength shield provides RM (30) protection. Justicehawk's shields are a lightweight reinforced steel alloy, but not especially suited for throwing like Captain America's shield. She can hurl the round one up to 2 areas as a ranged attack, but it lacks the ability (and she the skill) to have it return to her hand by bouncing it off a target. As such, she uses the shield primarily as a defensive tool and will throw it only as a last resort.

TALENTS
Acrobatics, Law, Martial Arts (A,B,E)

CONTACTS

Real Name: Libby Prescott
Aliases: Miss America, Liberty Lass
Identity: Secret
Occupation: Lawyer
Age: 27
Sex: Female
Height: 5' 10"
Weight: 135 lbs.
Eyes: Blue
Hair: Auburn
Education: College (law degree)
Citizenship: United States of America
Legal Status: No criminal record
Power Category: Normal human
Source of Powers: Training
Appearance: Driven to push herself to heroic proportions by the inspiration of her hero, Captain America, Libby is maintains her physique with a daily training regimen that keeps her in fighting shape. She usually wears her long red-brown hair up in a bun during office hours or tied back in a ponytail for casual affairs, but lets it hang freely while in costume. She also maintains a pair of eyeglasses to help maintain her secret identity despite not needing them and wearing a mask while in costume because she thinks they will make people think of her as weak for having vision problems.

ORIGIN: Normal human
PERSONALITY: Confident, determined, friendly, upbeat... These are all words that people would use to describe Libby. She tries to live up to the ideals and inspiration of Captain America, though secretly often feels like she falls short for her failings. She is not as strong, or as good a fighter, or even possessed of any special powers to aid in her crimefighting career, but she doesn't let things like that stop her. Instead, she limits herself to the small fish in the big pond, fighting muggers and bankrobbers, and usually leaving the world-saving and monster fighting to those more capable. If someone is in danger, though, she'll do what she can to provide a distraction until the bystanders are clear or other heroes --or even the police-- show up to help.
HISTORY: Libby was influenced as a child by stories told to her by her grandfather, a World War II veteran who would tell her about the exploits of Captain America standing up to the bullies of the Nazi regime. Her parents would scold him for filling their daughter with such talk because it invariably led to Libby getting involved in fights at school when she tried to stop bullies from picking on other kids, but she would always ask him to tell her the stories again and again. When her grandfather passed away while she was in high school, her parents seemed relieved to see her excelling in scholastic and athletic pursuits, including gymnastics and soccor. She graduated from high school coming up just shy of being her class valedictorian, and went on to college to pursue a degree in law so she could help people in need. Unknown to her parents, however, she was sneaking out at nights and prowling the rooftops in a red white & blue costume, looking for trouble, and calling herself Miss America. Being snubbed by criminals and even some other heroes as a "beauty queen" for the Miss America moniker, she decided to re-invent herself with a new costume, a shield, and the name Liberty Lass. As her fighting skills grew and she changed her costume and shield again, she took on the name Justicehawk and has stuck with it ever since.
ENEMIES: Mostly street thugs and small-time villains.
COMMENTS: Another of my old MSH creations that was remade for the City of Heroes game. Originally when I made her, her origin was similar but instead of a lawyer her background was as a professional model... because teenage hormones. smiling bouncing smiley
