I recently ran across this fanwork by Jayson Jolin and I am trying to set up a game but I have a few questions. It was hoping that someone else that was familiar with it or even the creator might by present on this site to consult with as the available pdfs have some section that raise questions. Among the ones I have:
Is there and Intensity table for Resources?

Oh yes, F.A.T.A.L...
The game I blame for poisoning the well when it came to the subject using sex in rpgs.

After looking over looking over the mechanics for resolving sexual encounters, I find don't like them much. There are good points but I think I may try to work out some new mechanics or expand on these. Just for my own amusement mostly, I like tinkering with mechanics. I'd like to give the rules more fanciful flavor (I see superheroes as modern day mythic beings), be more 'useful' mechanically an

With all the random appearance trait tables for such intimate parts of the body, I'm surprised there weren't for buttocks and pubic hair.

Thanks! I thought there might have been more rules that related to combining powers. I guess it is similar to Powers like Spray, Chemical Touch and Webcasting in the UPB.

Oh, ok. I wondered if there was a larger section on how to handle Power combinations. Its an interesting idea but I'm not sure if I'm good enough to handle it in play.
But it does seem to run along the same lines as some abilities that are in the canonical powers like Spray and Chemical Touch (IIRC).

For clarification,I meant this list:

e Ultimate addenda's addenda.
Are there any mechanics for combinations? For example, if I roll two of those powers how do I combine for the described effect or can I just keep them separate with their base effect?

Its good to see that such an important topic has received some attention. It does seem like something that could have been a chapter (or so) in Sexcetera.

Are there rules for the Power combinations or are they just suggestions of possible ways to interpret those abilities?

Its certainly an interesting list. You could possibly use it for 'quick roll' characters since some of them are like power packages united by a general effect.

I'm not a fan. I did try it with my group, but I found that it made the difference in Fighting levels too pronounced. I used a modified rule of characters get a +1CS, -1CS, or no modifier only for differences in Fighting ranks. Therefore, Captain America with his Amazing Fighting who is already superior to the Excellent Fighting ninja only gets a +1CS bonus, while the Ninja fi

I was some what disappointed. It had some useful table and information, some role play tips that were pretty straight forward but not much the felt specific to the comic genre and situations regarding romance, intimacy and sex with being superhuman abilities. An not a little discussion of Power Perversion Potenial? For shame !

Thanks! I wasn't sure what the Blue things were supposed to mean specifically. I understood they were 'fumbles' of some sort I didn't understand the notations for them on the chart that appeared to indicate some specific results. Are the full rules on this site?
There are so many rules floating around for Classic Marvel; picking what you to use can be overwhelming.

Has anyone used this House Rule by Redman? If so, how did it work?

The attack roll is modified based on the two opponent's comparative Fighting ability.
Compare the two foes' Fighting abilities in order to get a modifier to the attack roll. The character with the higher Fighting gets a bonus to his attack rolls equal to the difference between the two characters' Fighting ranks. Likewise,

In the Sexcetra netbook for Classic Marvel (I know, I know but I'm curious) the rules for sexual endurance state that a character can automatically perform for a number of Turns equal to their Endurance rank number. Does it mean 6 seconds combat turns? That seems awfully quick (no boast intended). A regular Joe or Jane has to make Endurance rolls over 6 seconds after 36 seconds of Intercourse? th

I'm currently using it as effecting one attack while Dodge affects all attacks in the turn. It seems to keep them both useful for different situations.

How many used Marvel Classic (or some variant like FASERIP or G-core) for settings aside from the Marvel Universe(s)? Why or why not? Does it work well for setting with different assumptions and 'physics' than Marvel?

Its a House rule, so a matter of taste. A Charisma attribute is require but could be useful and a separate pools for mental damage don't seem necessary for me. But mileage will vary. The Health mechanic has always been pet peeve I've had with the system (and one of the reason I moved to other system). I don't care for abstracted damage systems and it seems like a simple fix.

Has anyone tried the House Rule on this site where the difference in Fighting Rank number can assign a penalty or bonus directly to a character roll? How did that work out in play?
