I'm sure it's been covered before but - what is the best & simple way to change as written the Heir to Fortune talent so it works well in game?
Getting the Talent raises Resources to RM or +1CS to Resources if already RM or better.

Why does that require a Talent slot and how is it a y different than having RM resources without Heir To Fortune?

Check out the With Great Power system
The problem with points systems is powers are not all equal. GD Flying is much better than GD Hyper-Leaping and infinitely better than GD Extra Attacks. Even with 2-slot powers costing more, TY Reality Alteration can wreck a game.
There's no good way to balance EVERY thing.

Very true, Nightmask, but I think thanking people for hosting this stuff is fine. Even the mangled, early stuff.
Also, the linked UPB in "Advanced" downloads is an actual scan, not the "enhanced" version

It is absolutely a waste of a talent. It does nothing for the character as written.

Now there are some reasons to publish ( even if it's digital or print on demand ) a Re-done version of a game ( rpg ) even though most of your target audience may already have their originals.
-- Let players beat up on the new book so the originals wont get more wear and tear
-- Put all the rules into a single core book ( some rpg games have multiple books covering different aspects

Forum is back.
The host had a DB server go down, and they did a PHP update....two things changed, it was hard to tell what was causing the error
The was a bug introduced into one of the PHP files because something was no longer allowed in the new PHP version. Quick fix once I realized it wasn't a DB problem anymore.

The main problem isn't the looks of the hero. Let's be honest, how many "plain joe" heroes are there? Not many human-looking male heroes that didn't step off the cover of GQ
The problem with female heroes in comics is they usually fall into 2 categories: female companion to a male hero, or feminist girl-power hero (ie anything the male hero can do I can do better)
We don't get real women heroes

The problem with all of these "new" systems is they aren't better than the "old" systems

As with MSHRPG...no need for a new system. MEGS is a fine system.
Warner Brothers owns DC. Asmodee now owns Mayfair.

I am dumbfounded that they didn't simply re-release FASERIP. Why create another crappy RPG as a cash-grab. Morons.
They could have simply done a new core set with new art work and zero other edits.
Then they could start publishing GHOTMU with current characters.
All done, zero dollars in development, and far less risky.
MAYBE they'd have to partner with HASBRO because of they weirdness with t
