I read this summer's Sharknado 6 will be the last one ever! NOOOOOOO
We can hope. (Not a fan of the movies, though my wife is.)

I'm STILL adamant that Reed Richards isn't a Martial Artist, his having a couple martial arts doesn't actually make him a Martial Artist. He wasn't one when he was in the military (neither was Ben) and he wasn't one after he left and gained his powers. Iron Fist is a Martial Artist, Shang-Chi is a Martial Artist, Reed Richards is NOT a Martial Artist. Spider-man is NOT a M

I admit I tended to prefer the True Invulnerability factors as opposed to Body resistance. I feel Column Shift associated defenses work better than rank number ones.
This allows the cinematic approach of movie-level bricks fighting each other for more than a few hits. By reducing hits of Monstrous+ rating damage down to Feeble/Poor you can have movie level fights of the Justice Leag

I was lucky enough to have President's Day off today, so I was able to update quite a bit for the MCU.

What exactly is this?
Yeah, I've pretty much ignored that list as some of the home brewed powers are seriously broken and unbalanced. "Hyper Attack" under Fighting Powers? The example given is the power giving a character 15 attacks a round. Sheesh.

Again Charisma is a redundant statistic, Players already possess Popularity and Role Playing. I never met anyone who ever needed a dice roll to see if they randomly like a person, personally, I think that is a mechanic that would eventually cause personality flaws and quirks in a PC or NPC as sooner or later the dice would indicate a result that goes against the character's beha

I don't understand. Shouldn't her stats be all Class 5000?
That was supposed to be tongue in cheek, by the by. No offense intended, hawkeye.

From what I can tell from the comic, stats largely stay the same, but the character afflicted can't be killed.
No one can resist the infection, even if they have Class 1000 invulnerability to disease. You see characters like Thor and Juggernaut who fall to the infection, so I would think no one is immune. It's one of the reasons I don't care for the story, to be honest.

I really love the work you put into these writeups. I'll never play the game because I hate FPS games but the setting looks awesome.

(Deadpool is supposed to have goat hooves like all of Rob Liefeld's "drawings")
Deadpool has goat hooves? Really? Do you have any images of this?
The reference is to the fact that Rob Liefeld hates to draw feet.

It depends on whether you think the max rank for humans should be Amazing (as with Reason) or Unearthly (as with Psyche). I think characters like Doom and Captain America would have the highest while the Toad would likely be at Feeble.

QuoteDorkLordSerious question (because I don't recall that tidbit), where did it ever state that osmium steel has no iron in Marvel, or even that Colossus' metal state is exactly like osmium? I remember it being referred to as "organic steel". I'm not sure what your beef is though. Magneto's powers have always affected him in his metal form.
His non-gamer write-up has it that h

Well I think I've run out of energy on the X-men at issue #235 (the introduction of Genosha). The art style has dropped in quality by this point and I can feel that the slide to perpetual angst began with the genocide of the Morlocks by the Marauders. At that point the degree of meat-grinder treatment for the X-men begins. In that run alone Kitty Pryde gets locked into her phase

So what stat would you use for charisma? Should I just add a charisma stat?
I would. I like the idea of a charisma attribute. I also like the idea of RIPC replacing physical attributes in the astral plane. Psyche could replace Fighting, Charisma could replace Strength, Reason for Endurance and Intuition for Agility.

Well then, I simply disagree with you. I've always disliked the idea of physical health a measure of a character's resistance to psychic damage. If "magic" is your explanation for the Wrecking Crew, what about non magic brutes? Not to mention, why would a powerful psychic like Professor X only have like 20 health vs psychic damage?
by DorkLord

Exactly. Most of the Wrecking Crew shouldn't be able to take as much psionic damage as they can under the current rules.

Popularity is an external stat easily swayed by public opinion. Someone who is very charismatic should be able to influence others regardless of whether their popularity is 0 or 100. I could see high or low popularity giving penalties or bonuses to a Charisma roll.
Look at James Bond. Very charismatic but the general public doesn't know him from adam.

The Man Wolf needs a return.
I wouldn't mind seeing C-string pre-cursor heroes like Skull the Slayer get a limited series just to shake things up or show off locations in the MU besides the current modern era.
I always wanted to see a 2nd limited series of Valkyrie as well.
I swear it looked like you said G-string heroes at first.

As far as Silver Surfer's pacifism goes, being a pacifist doesn't mean you therefor must have a low Fighting rank, many extremely skilled Martial Artists were pacifists but the last thing you wanted to do was provoke them. Iron Fist would generally qualify as a pacifist, he prefers to not have to fight anyone if he doesn't have to but that doesn't change the fac

She also likes squirrels. How come the presumption isn't "When did Monkey Joe take Squirrel Girl's virginity?"
People do just like to assume and presume, especially when there's any kind of innuendo or hint
