SMH. You know, I already accepted long ago that my opinion of the film was in the minority, but I can't figure out how you went "all over the place" with

To me, there was so much comedy in the film, the script was a joke. These days, Whedon relies on overloading the audience with jokes that he hopes people will think are so bad they're good (how many times did this kind of crap show up in S1 of agents of shield? I lost count because it happened in every episode), as well as having someone say something during a scene that just makes the scene weir

I see this trailer. It looks like it's for a serious film. But, how much do you want to bet it will be a comedy? The trailers for the first avengers film were just as epic serious as this one and we were given a movie that was largely a comedy. Jokes in pretty much every scene, except for some of the action ones. Some of the action scenes were written as jokes. And just like the first one, Whedon

I haven't bought any recently, but I used to because it was cheaper and easier to get the issues, like the 1st printing of the infinity gauntlet tpb that's got every issue related to it. Given the fact there are major story arcs regularly, it's probably easier to just get the tpbs after the fact than get the specific issues.

Let me rephrase what I wrote. It's been a redefining at marvel on the nature of things. In Agents of Shield, what was that guy's name that chased amy acker, blackout? Initially, darkforce was energy from another dimension. It wasn't energy from our universe. But over time, it's been redefined as something thought to exist in the physics of our dimension: negative energy.

Things in the movies are different. So, I'd say the movie CW is about preemption. People know Stark did what he did without any oversight. People know experiments that can lead to Cap and Banner exist. They also know that aliens exist because of the invasion, so they'd want a ready made force to protect the planet if it gets invaded again and a law enforcement force for internal threats.
That's

I like things that are not bound by ideas some old dudes came up with before they died last century or more. It leads to 'it's gotta be this' and 'it can only be that way, you dumb butt'.

I liked the first show. The events felt a little rushed for some reason, but that might be the amount of stuff they had in the episode. Still...A- from me.

Am I wrong in misremembering this? Maybe it's my tired brain from not sleeping, but they didn't do this, right? The closest was DC v MK and Marvel v Capcom, right?

Okay, I haven't seen it yet, but can those that did answer me this. From the clips of the film I've been watching, sometimes it sounds like Bradley Cooper's voice coming out of Rocket's mouth and then it would switch in mid sentence. In some clips, it sounds nothing like Bradley Cooper. Can anyone else tell if it is Cooper's unaltered voice or not and if it's just me?

I'm not expecting ep 7 to live up to anything, since Abrams is there. I hope I enjoy GotG.

I think part of it comes from 'what hasn't the character done yet?'. Some characters have been around for so long, they'd be repeating themselves when you can repeat the same kind of stories if you're dealing with a new character. It's like in video games. You are willing to do the exact same thing, as long as it's a different character in a different game. Marvel and DC both have trouble investi

So, the jist is Stark makes a bunch of robots to police the world, so the avengers don't have to do as much stuff and to help SHIELD. So, they have no 4th rule of robotics of no screwing over humanity and their leader, Ultron, starts some stuff.
Holy god, I seriously hates this idea. However, it isn't a surprise, considering Whedon did the 'blow the ship up to stop all the enemies' thing. The

Have I gotten cynical and jaded and not realized it? This feels like it's a ploy to get women into see the film, the same way it feels to me like making the human torch black is to get black people to see the film? Even though the Thor of old is not being retconned into a woman and the mantle is just switching?
This also feels like Marvel's throwing down the gauntlet at DC's feet, saying ' we ma

Oh...my...god. I completely forgot Trask was in last stand and played by a different actor. But, that means Kitty also screwed up because Logan came back into another universe, since it's different at the end. If he only changed another universe, his universe wouldn't have changed.
