Game Idea with Doctor Doom

Hello all, this is my first time posting here. I was thinking of starting up a new MSH campaign. The premise will be for original mid to low level superheroes who may form a team in Pittsburgh and have ongoing adventures. The power level of the heroes starting out will be roughly equivalent to heroes like Hawkeye, Daredevil, Angel, Beast, etc.

One idea I have for a game episode is after the campaign is already up and running for a little while. The core idea for this episode is a cameo with Doctor Doom, but it needs some development. The idea is for Doom to show up, and for the players to be shocked by his appearance (they may not see him face to face, but from a distance, or have a contact tell them he is in town, etc.). They may wonder what he is planning, and be disturbed because surely he is out of their caliber. But it turns out he is not there for them at all, but because he is importing some valuable materials to Latveria (like some kind of specialty steel, rare element, etc.) and he found out someone is going to try and steal it. Doom has come to ensure that does not happen. The villains who are planning to steal it are those who have been giving trouble to the superhero players in previous episodes. The players try to shadow Doom's movements to find out what he is up to, and so they are present when the villains attempt to steal the shipment bound for Latveria. When the villains attack, Doom appears and basically trashes them or chases them off. The superhero players may also try to stop the robbers, so they may find themselves to be fighting on the same side as Doctor Doom. At the end, Doom leaves with his shipment, not thanking the heroes but perhaps showing a bit of grudging respect.

The point is to have a cameo by an established Marvel character, and to have a bit of fun with the dialogue that might go on between Doom and the players... and also to show off a bit of Doom's awesomeness, when he easily kicks around some supervillains the players have had a tough time with.

What does everyone think? All ideas and criticisms are welcome!

Sounds quite nice so far, might drop some little hints like stuff marked with the Latverian seal to leave them wondering, maybe stolen invoices and the like.
