Ugh, so Marvel's trying to do something like DC's 'New 52' only remaking the classic Secret Wars story arc so squashing all the 'Marvel 52' worlds into one?

This can't end well.

Maybe I'll thumb thru it after it comes out as a TPB much later. Certainly not feeling any real interest for yet another big mega-event.

If only this could be the big mega-event to literally end all big mega-events. Those have done more damage to Marvel than good.

Odd thought: Beyonder brought pieces of worlds together to assemble his Battleworld for the original Secret Wars. What's going to be
bringing pieces of alternate reality worlds together for this new Battleworld? Could it be the mysterious Rabum Alal who's allegedly the
cause of the incursions shown in the New Avengers stuff?

I had thought Rabum Alal was going to turn out to be Hyperion from the Exiles' King Hyperion story arc because of how he got into the
Panoptichron and destroyed two universes which was shown as having two worlds collide much like how the Incursions are occurring...
and how the bug people in the Panoptichron warned him that the universe is like a house of cards in that removing even one reality will
destabilize the entire metastructure of the multiverse.*

As much as I enjoyed the original Secret Wars and alternate reality interaction (I loved Exiles) I can't find anything appealing about this.

Marvel is revisiting a LOT of old ideas next year: Armor Wars, Secret Wars, X-Men 92, etc. They're kind of doing a "greatest hits" idea.

Any guesses on what the worlds not already announced might be. I'm guessing the kings james region is marvel earth from 1800s that one is cool. New Quak City I'm sure is Howard the duck, not so cool idea.2099, probably 2099...lol. I'm hoping one of the classified is the MC2 universe. Marvel invested a lot of time in the MC2 universe it should make the list.

Looks like Marvel isn't they only one bring new and old together in 2015.

Check out the news on DC's Convergence.

Lots of pre-Nu52 stuff happening. Not sure if it will all be tied together like Marvel's multiversal Secret Wars, though.
