The Force Awakens Trailer

Meh. I am not saying the movie will be meh but for all the hype leading up to it the trailer is very underwhelming IMO.

I thought the teaser was awesome, but I'm not getting my hopes up. I don't want to face the crushing disappointment I felt when I went to see episodes I-III.

I'm going to see it. I'm going to assume it will be as bad or worse than films I through III.

If I'm wrong and it's great, then awesome. If it's terrible, it'll be no worse than I already expect.

The movie has Larry Kasdan as one of the screenwriters. The guy that wrote Episode V. Also, when the score finally kicks in and you see the Falcon? Just pure awesome.

Lightsaber scene, cool. Voice over....Jar Jar is more compelling.

The Phantom Menace ( Star Wars 1 ) had a cool trailer too, but the movie was a huge disappointment.

With no recognizable characters all I can't say if I'm excited or not. My hunch is the movie will disappoint, mostly because the main characters we want to see are older and slower.
