I want to run a character that can run/move extremely fast, near instantaneous, with a "line of sight range" and then hit the target, smashing through many things without getting hurt.

Must go in a straight line, cannot fly and is completely normal/vulnerable when not moving like a bullet.

I think I know what I'm describing, in game terms, but I'd like to know what you think.

Thinking of "Railgun" as the name.

Sounds like a Flashstep, a common Martial Arts move in anime. A character will demonstrate the ability to move instantly from one location to another in a straight line (usually), sometimes in order to strike someone although usually to dodge and confuse an opponent until making a conventional attack (like flashstep behind them then unleash an energy blast).

"A shared universe, like any fictional construct, hinges on suspension of disbelief. When continuity is tossed away, it tatters the construct. Undermines it."

Juggernaut at Flash speed? That would be very hard to beat. With the charging rules he'd one shot most baddies.

Sounds like a 'Void Shift' or 'Flash Step' as Nightmask describes...

And Jugga-Not at Flash Speeds as Warlock said...

Basically Teleports from point A to point B and every thing in the path of his silhouette gets blasted...

Doesn't Cannon-Ball and Nightcrawler of the X-Man do similar types of moves ???

Seems similar to Cannonball's power... charges into things while virtually invulnerable.

I have had fun searching "flash step" as I am not terribly well versed in anime. Thanks
