For those who haven't seen The Last Action Hero the Golden Ticket let one enter into any movie and even bring people from the movies into real life (supernatural beings apparently even retained their supernatural powers), so what would be your movie to use the Golden Ticket with given the opportunity?

There's no guarantee that you would have a mech at your disposal. You would more likely be around one of the main characters who had a mech at their disposal... and probably would be very lucky to get a chance to see the inside.

A high post count is indicative of little more than one having the time to post frequently.
It does not mean a person is more knowledgeable on any given topic than anyone else.

Actually you also get thrust into the action. In the movie Danny was made Arnold's partner despite being around 12 years old. So I'd imagine that if you went into Pacific Rim you'd end up being Raleigh's partner instead of Mako... I suppose the touching moment at the end would be optional...

For me though, hmmm... I think I'd go with Expendables 3, be an action hero with a bunch of other action heroes and none of us die

I thought long and hard about your hypothetical. I tried to think of a movie that featured a perfect utopia where everyone lived in peace. Then I remembered that most of those films featured utopias that hid horrible secrets, such as Logan's Run and Soylent Green, so I think I would pass on the Golden Ticket opportunity.

*Also, I don't see your movie proposal for using the golden ticket which would be...?

One world of adventure is never enough.

Never said that, it's YOUR Golden Ticket movie choice.

Odds are you wouldn't have a mech though, you're not a starting character in the movie and are going to be bound by what you could expect from the majority. When the young boy protagonist enters the Jack Slater movie he finds himself bound by its tropes including that when he tries to pull a game of chicken on a bicycle with a car realizes at the last second possible before dodging that 'wait I'm not the main character I'm the Plucky Boy Sidekick/Comic Relief and this never works for them!'.

Well you don't HAVE to stay in the movie, and you could use it to bring someone out of the movie (like rescuing a doomed character that would then be highly appreciative of it, like rescuing that sexy slave girl before she's unceremoniously killed).

I'm not sure what movie I'd go with myself either, for similar reasons of trying to pick one that would be something I could enjoy and be safe in. J Bone actually seems to have the best idea with porn movies, they're generally on the safe and high enjoyment side and odds are you could have a great time in one or bringing your favorite star out of it to be with RL. I've seen so many movies that it's difficult to even remember them enough to think which I'd most want to visit. I suppose it'd be kind of funny in a recursive sense to visit The Last Action Hero.

That's because of the genre of the movie and the tropes applied to the movie though, in the Jack Slater movies the improbable partnership trope was in effect and since the kid drops in at the point he does he gets made Jack's partner (for which since we don't know anything much about that in-movie movie Jack may not have been meant to have a partner in that film before the kid got involved).

That would require being okay with killing people wouldn't it? While I haven't seen the movie that seems to be one of those high body count action hero movies. While movie characters never suffer PTSD unless specifically written in as a plot point I imagine it'd be a problem for a real person going into the movie especially once in the real world and away from the tropes enforced in that reality.

The body count was varied amongst the protagonists. But I actually hadn't thought of that aspect, might have to rethink that...
