I was wondering what we concretely know, intuit or guess about those last unreleased products before TSR closed shop. For Midnight Sons, I saw a post with a detailed outline, was that leaked and legit? For that and 2099 or Infinity Watch Cosmic Campaign has anything leaked or been said by staff? Did advertisements and art exist, how do we know they were planned? Was there anything else on the table besides those mentioned and the 1993 update? Has anyone tried to talk to those working at TSR at the time and try to see if they would leak manuscripts or art created for the projects? Any info about those questions or ones I didn’t even think to ask would be appreciated.

Yep, straight from David Pulver (the author of the Midnight Sons boxed set). He had to convert it from the old word perfect files he had stashed away.

Nothing has been leaked, and while David informed me he had sent the first draft manuscript to TSR, when I spoke to Wizards back in 2007, they were less than interested in releasing the manuscript. :/

I don't recall seeing any advertisements for any of the products. Some of them did have product codes:

6910 MHR-4 Ghost Rider and the Midnight Sons (box) David Pulver
6913 MHR-5 Marvel 2099 (box)
6911 MU9 GH 1993 Characters Update
6914 The Infinity Watch: Marvel Space Campaign (box)

We've even spoken with Dale Donovan and Steven Schend who are part of the MSH Unofficial Canon Project group, and they don't recall who was slated to write the above products other than David Pulver - they don't think they got to the point of selecting the authors. They did state that they would have been done by freelancers, not internal TSR staff.

No, it was never released. However, if you like the occult, you'll find something similar in the upcoming Realms of the Occult "Boxed Set"... soon to be released from the Unofficial Canon Project!
