What's your experience with receiving email from the site now that the issue has supposedly been resolved?

AWESOME! I'm able to receive Forum emails now!	2		50%
Not great. I tested it and I didn't receive anything. I even checked my SPAM folder.	1		25%
I received the email, but it had gone directly to SPAM, so I had to hunt for it.	0		0%

Many people were noting that emails from the server stopped getting through some time ago. At this time, we believe we're able to maintain some semblance of server security and still reduce the incidence of third-party email providers filtering mail coming off the ClassicMarvelForever.com domain.

What this means for the community

The reduced functionality encountered by people needing to register for the forums or reset their passwords has, as far as we can tell, been successfully restored. Emails were being sent successfully from the server before, but getting dropped somewhere along the way, or just as they reached their destination networks. That should no longer be the case.

Please feel free to test the functionality by pretending to reset your password. If you do test it and have a problem, please let us know.

In case no one else mentions it, thanks for the continued efforts to keep CMF up and running smoothly.

Tested it, seemed to work, although for some reason I'm always being logged out when I leave the page now instead of remaining logged in like before.

Ditto on the logouts. I've also noticed recently that when quoting a previous message that words are now broken up as above. It used to be that sentences would be broken up to get shortened lines, but the words would remain whole. Not so anymore.
