After my dad's unexpected death a year & a half ago, I lost all of the characters we'd come up with, I thought I'd share some of the ones I can remember.
I'm currently limited to using a smartphone, so I apologize if they don't match the quality of some of those I've seen elsewhere.
All of my characters are created using the UPB, I very rarely use a power from the Advanced Player's & only when it's a power that isn't represented in the UPB (like Animal Empathy & Animal Communication & Control).

Character History
Born to Greek immigrants who came to America & opened a restaurant, his mutant fear generation was sparked when as a teen ager a couple of drug adicts came in at closing & tried to rob the place.
Sadly his uncontrolled power caused one of the addicts to shoot his mother & his father to have a heart attack which killed him.
Giannis was taken in & trained to control his powers by Xavier but found he wasn't a good fit for a team, so after graduation he returned to Manhattan with the intention of re-opening the family restaurant.
Friends of Humanity members firebombed it during the grand reopening, after he recovered from his injuries he decided to don a costume to gain justice.

Character Notes
This was a recent attempt to make a Batman who isn't a tech head, no wealth, no gadgets, and the Fear power justifies both why criminals fear him & why he actually works alone, unlike the real Batman who has a bazillion teammates it seems

Character History
Sakura was a famous child actress whose mutant nature was revealed when at 14 a car swerved out of control on set & she levitated a couple of hundred feet in the air to avoid it, this was caught on cameras & cell phones & went viral her career ended virtually over night.
She enrolled in Xavier's school & was even an X-Man before going solo when her boyfriend Giannis(Night Terror) left the team.
Player Note
This character was randomly created including rolling for specific powers, this was my attempt to make sense of the results. The in game explanation for her armor having flight when she already had levitation was that she decided levitation was too limited & talked Forge into making her the suit

Character History
Bill was working as a cybernetics researcher for a classified program when a sabotaged experimental battery exploded near him, in order to save his life Dr. Madison Li transplanted his brain & central nervous system into a life support tank linked to computers, he then designed a body to inhabit. He subsequently used his powers to build a financial empire to support his heroic & philanthropic endeavors.

This is the oldest character I can remember well enough to reconstruct. But it'll take awhile to recall enough of his backstory to have it make sense. He dates back to 1992. These stats are based off what I remember as the end goal of the character, he wasn't initially anywhere near this powerful

Originally meant to be a piece of equipment, Mainframe ended up becoming powerful & important enough that the Judge had me create it as a character. Vibratron was built by B.I.L. as a prototype security bot, as such there a lot that look like it, but something caused Number 5 to develop self awareness

Vibratron (originally Vibrator, I was young & had no clue about the sexual toys of the same name) was created as the first of what were supposed to be multiple robot companions for B.I.L., "he" ended up becoming more of a comic relief character than intended

Character notes
This is the current Captain America in my campaign world. She's the daughter of the original Captain America (now a quadriplegic) She earned her rank of Captain in the military against her father's wishes & despite prejudice about her being a mutant.
When her father was crippled in the line of duty, she was the unanimous choice to be the new Captain America, even her father agreed.
