Waiting for it to come to the dollar movies, so i can see it for $5 in 3D.... so I guess that makes the dollar movies the five dollar movies
I did refuse to watch a Chinese ripped version on line, because that hurts our economy. Truth.
Mostly I want to see how they deal with the Thing. Losing the Thing from any Marvel Universe would be a sad thing. It would be neat to have him in the Avengers/

MODOK would have to look radically different in the film, like Zola did.

I think they used NY because everybody knows about it. It is the center of the Universe, people from all over the world go there to do what ever they do.
We started out in Chicago, because it is a huge city and not NY. It was fun, especially fighting on L trains, and utilizing the crippling -20 degree winters.
I gamed with a group in Baltimore (and wrecked it to the point the real city would

I had forgotten about Thor's last transformation. That story line doesn't bother me (because I don't read Thor any more) and his power has been wielded by other people (Beta Ray Bill... whatever the hell he is?? and Thunderstrike/ Eric Masterson, I think there was someone else). To me it is just another storyline that has a conclusion and since Loki returned from Ragnarok to Earth as a woman (for

A great action film needs a great villain for the hero to defeat. Without it, you got nothing (look at how bad the ending was for the last Spider Man movie and they ruined Dr. Doom, Galactus and the Absorbing Man, so sad).
They got Loki right. The Red Skull was good too and I liked Ultron, but we need more bad guys.
I would like to see the Leader, he was set up in the last Hulk film. This would

Find the dollar movie in the dangerous part of town Darkman. An adventure going and coming.
The rule reads: Only one who is worthy may lift Mijolnir. The wielder (other than Thor) must have 1000+ Karma, Remarkable Strength and positive Popularity. A non-living object must have at least Remarkable Strength to lift Mjolnir.

It shouldn't.
The film takes place in present day, with an older retired Hank Pym trying to keep his particles out of the wrong hands.
Hank and Janet fought the commies in the 60's, though the film shows only a few black and white film images of tiny people kicking the crap out of the bad guys.
This fact is a central element and it drives the entire film. Even though we only see a framed pictu

Characters from the 60's change, even if the time compression is greatly reduced in comic book land.
Watch Robert Downy Jr. actually age since the first Iron Man and that was only 2008. People cannot be expected to be super heroes for 25 years, unless they are Thor or have a super soldier serum in them. What they are screwing up in films and comics, is when they suddenly change an established ch

Try some fictional pantheons.
The god's of the Hyborean era, who inhabited the tales of Conan the Barbarian might work for you.
The space based gods of the Cthulhu mythos could work too.
Since they are from a relatively limited number of books, you can research quickly and shape them to fit your purposes. Also think of the concept of dormant instead of dead, as few actual gods remain dead fo

Godzilla wins. Incredibly strong, great fighter, devastating breath attack, always finishes, equally comfortable in and out of the water, will follow an opponent and hunt them across the planet, amazing resistance to damage and impressive recovery, inspires fear and never backs down.
The Pacific Rim monsters are strong and frightening, but Godzilla isn't afraid, in fact she might sense they are

They are both pretty smart. The dinosaur was able to set traps and use his camouflage to defeat the security forces and lower his temperature to escape his cage. It really was a monster, killing for pleasure and driven by savagery. The dinosaur showed the ability to take a tremendous amount of damage, from guns and other dinosaurs. Fast, strong, durable, ferocious and able to ambush opponents. It w

The scene where he is caught and unscrews his cuffs with his fingers is straight Punisher. Almost everything else was: "Why is he shooting up a casino and not people?" and "Why is he riding a motorcycle in the sewer?" and "Where is the freaking skull on his chest!" and "Why is Dolph Lungren talking like he is wigged out on quaaludes?".
Warzone was not great, but they got the body count correct.

On a completely different level, you have Edgar Rice Burroughs' characters; John Carter of Mars and Tarzan of the Apes, who both had DC and Marvel runs ( Dynamite and Dark Horse too).
I say these are different because Carter and Tarzan existed almost completely in their own continuities (Marvel deviated in a somewhat Mhhh storyline with Tarzan), derived from Burroughs' books. Tarzan had decades

Just saw it. Did not like it very much. Story was predictable and Tom Hardy was even less comprehensible with the mask off. I concede the film makers were limited by the the survival story lines in this post apocalyptic dystopian world, it just had a lot of scenes that looked like the Road Warrior. Also, the nightmare of the little girl that plagued him struck

there is a precedent in comics, a mutant named Unus the Untouchable (member of the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants), who had a tight fitting force field that stood up to the Human Torch and the Hulk's respective attacks(until he became enraged). He could repel any kind of attack, including mental. (not sure against magick).
Unus is listed with a top of UN100, requiring a FEAT, and the field was on at

IMartial Arts D body armor, so anything from ironman's suit to the Thing's rocky hide. Weakness Detection is a power that discovers weaknesses in your opponent's defenses, not just armor, so a force field falls into the category effected by that power. I do see a big difference.
Since your FF is more like a suit than a bubble or shield, it might appear treating it like armor is appropriate, but

As judge, I have used a player's CA as that odd feeling in a place and that sense of "wrongness" when they were somewhere the villain had been, to guide the group and introduce clues. Obi Wan getting post it notes from the Universe.
This worked out very well, since it was an every once in a while thing.

If I'm 6' and can move 3 areas per round, and I can grow to 60', doesn't it make sense for me to move 10 times the distance?

Preacher should rule.
Shield is fun, I like that they kill off characters, without bringing them back. It makes events more important.

Superman wins in 1:35 seconds.
Hulk, Thor and Ironman won't be able to hit him, if he doesn't want them to. Why would he go toe to toe with them if they might be able to hurt him and he can move faster than all of them?
Cap, Widow and Hawkeye are an afterthought (unless Stark creates Kryptonite arrow tips and Hawkeye can surprise Superman.

It is definitely worth, not weight, Thor hangs Mjolnir on a coat hook at one point in one of his films.

You have to have a rampaging Hulk.
You also need to show how damage resistant he is.
If he isn't threatening, the character doesn't work.

Real good film. Totally kills the "wish the fight scenes could be longer " thing. Hulkbuster fight was great. The action tires out your eyes, need to see a 2D version, to see what I spaced on.
Might be a little violent for small children.

Does Sony's control reach into the actual comic book realm? If so, maybe killing off characters like Wolverine makes sense, since mutant comic releases are promoting the now rival entertainment company and making them money.
This would be the only real reason I could see actual character death in a Marvel comic book.
Black Bolt, Medusa and Triton are cool characters. Putting them in the spot li
