Ok, I have what I think is a cool concept. It’s based off the Thor Corps, but what happened to the shards of melon or after Hela destroyed them? Is it possible those shards could be found and used to forge a lesser version of mjlonir. Thus I would take the Asgardian template, and add to it the basic powers a lesser version of Thor’s hammer would supply. That way I can adjust the power level up or

Suffice it to say I am interested. I do t know how much detail you want yet, or what medium you are using for the play by post. Let me know if you could use a player. I would like to do some sort of Thor legacy character or the original Thor himself. But am open to other ideas.

Is anyone running any play by posts or weekly games on roll20 or discord? Just asking around and it looks like some games are starting or have recently started

This is an old thread, but it's always bugged me that Herc and Thor had such low armour tanks. I'd say the block maneuver helps but it sucks that the move cancels any effective offence. So Thor and Herc can defend with Unearthly Strenght easily, but they have to stand still and just take punches with no counterattack.

Yeah I mean it looks like Eric Masterson Thor will have an edge if he uses the full range of Mjlonirs powers and energy projection capabilities. In a direct Slugfest I think gladiator would win against Eric Masterson 7/10 times
Thor Classic wins 7/10 times, his fighting skill is probably better than gladiators, and he has the advantage of a weapon other than his fists. If Gladiator has a speed

Thor vs Gladiator
Conflicted cause I hear wildly different opinions on this one

Trying to figure out how movement works, I am working with a friend to wrap our heads around the rules enough to start playing, however we were having trouble making sense of the movement speed table, is anyone able to provide a simplified version. The math doesn't seem to make sense. A person at Feeble speed can travel 15 miles and hour? or At Remarkable speed they travel at 45 miles per hour?

Gotta throw this one out there, I have a conclusion but I would not mind hearing from others. Thor vs Thanos.
Thor with Mjlonir, Thanos without the Infinity Gauntlet or other plot devices.
I see Thor losing based on one thing alone, I am not sure of the issue, but when he went into Berserker Rage and the Infinity Watch tried to stop him, Thanos took a beating from a Thor not holding back, and

Hey I am looking for a game, unfortunately my options are rather limited. It kind of has to have an element of text based (not sure how to set up video) unless there is suddenly a group that lives in Manitoba, Canada I have never heard about. I've never played before but would like to try even a one shot adventure

Maybe this one has been done a ton, but hey I wanna try it.
Dormammu vs Odin. Neutral area, as they both seem to have infinite power within their respective realms, no prep

Since she is an Asgardian, you could also have her Asgardian authorities look into it, don't they have to hold back their powers when their on earth against regular mortals (pretty sure Thor only goes all out against planetary level threats)

Changing Talents as per some of your advice.
Oriental Weapons to BattleSuits
Martial Arts A to mesmerism and Hypnotism
Acrobatics to Battle suit operation
That way this guy can use his formidable mental abilities to control other people if needed, can whip up an armoured exoskeleton with enough time and resources to counter his feeble physicality.

3 other concepts in different stages right now. A teenage clone of magneto kept in stasis after experimentation by Hydara in the second world war. Currently lives in the Xavier institute as a regular student, keeps his "father" a secret.
A son of Loki trying to move on a path away from his father's evildoing (magician, or stealthy thief type)
A son of Balder the Brave (Asgardian warrior with

I'm trying to get a few character concepts up and running. I was told to post them here. I have a few concepts that I would like to stat out, giving possible characters for different campaigns. (Probably will make a 200 CPs a 300CPs and maybe experiment with a 600 CPs later)
This is my first build, Psyche, a normal psychologist who was exposed to energies from a Kree alien abduction. Since

I have to give the money to Graviton on this one. He has more versatility, and seems to have the same level of feats as far as telekinesis, flight and force field strengths. Mags is gonna have trouble if he doesnt have magnetic fields to manipulate, but Grav can use any materials around him, and change gravity effects on individuals. Mags doesnt have this same level of control (I know he's don

Thanks for the help guys, starting to grasp the concepts and rules, haven't done any rolls yet, I think i may have to play a round or two to actually get the rules. Working on some character generations both random and pregnerated. Any place I can post them for feedback from the group? New to the forums and I see places where they might go but I am not sure

Ok thanks I'll do that, is it better to randomize character creation with rolling, or is it better to choose based on a set. What do most Game Masters prefer?

I guess my first question is where to start. Ill try to do some reading on the rules, but sometimes the best way to do something is create a character, but for that you need a game? Or is it easier to play an adventure with an established hero?

Hi Roleplayers.
I'm Ryan, a huge marvel fan, brand new to this entire Classic Marvel Forever. I love roleplay, have done some GURPs superhero stuff, but I love the idea of doing CMF. Unfortunately I don't have a whole lot of experience, right now the feat and color tables look like a foreign language to me. Hoping to pick up opportunities to play text and chat based games since I don't think
