Those who have read my three part series of posts "When victims become vigilantes" will have seen references to a group calling itself the "Scarlet Dawn".
But who are they? What are they? What is their goal?
These are questions every law enforcement and intelligence agency has been asking, without getting any real answers beyond the obvious ones. By that I mean, yes, they are terrorists, and

Is there a way to edit posts, or failing that, remove it so as to be able to repost a corrected version? I just realized I had forgotten to add power descriptions to one of my character sheets, and would like to fix this.

These are part of a group of characters I came up with some years back, but never had a chance to actually play most of them. I did use Psybele in a game I ran back in 1996. The site is only allowing two attachments per message, so the others will post separately.

But it's an .exe file Not everyone has systems that can run that. (Android phone here). Would like to see this in a compatible format.

Here's Ben Riely's page with all the various Firestorms. Should be at least a good starting point.
That's a poor write-up for Ronnie. Classic Firestorm had none of the listed restrictions particularly a need to know chemistry (he also had some of Martin's genius 'rub off' on him due to their being merged so often). He could easily do things like convert an object

What about Masque, of Morlock fame? He could Shapechange Others and probably could have sculpted the "revisions" mentioned. I suppose it just comes down to how you want to describe the mechanics of what the character does.
I was under the impression Masque could only change faces. I remember him doing that to Kitty Pryde once, and the Power Pack on another occasion.

There's nothing stating you can't sculpt the flesh of a patient....My Dr. Jekyl certainly did....fun times. I can't count the number of bad guys that suddenly had weird shaped legs or suddenly had no mouths...
Lol there is a scene in the story where the "artist" did that to someone. Put his hand over their mouth, and when he took it away, no mouth
Did you ever write up Dr Jekyl

Yes. Scramble could make anything out of organic tissue (dead or alive) and merge different people / animals / body parts together. Most of his handiwork was hideous and sloppy rather than artistic though. He *was* bat-shit insane. Think human centipede level grotesquery.
If he hadn't been insane and had Beast / Mr.Sinister / High Evolutionary level knowledge of genetics he

"Scramble the Mixed Up Man" aka Lionel Jeffries.
Aside from being totally insane, he could heal people, animate corpses, and trigger latent mutant powers with his yucky powerset...
Here's another excerpt from the story I mentioned earlier. Here one of the characters was getting a look at the "artist's" handiwork. Does the below sound like something Scramble could have don

Sounds like the flesh-sculpting power Madison Jeffries brother has.
Does the brother have a name I can google? I vaguely know who Madison Jeffries is -- Alpha Flight? but not familiar enough with the character, didn't know he had a brother.

The following text is excerpted from a story written on a cooperative writing list I was involved in several years ago. My question is , what would the power being described here be in MSH terms? I've gone over the power listings in APB and UPB and can't figure out what would match. There wasn't Frankenstein-esque surgery involved, so that'd rule out Grafting, and Molding's description is about

Interesting, a good story hook might be that Jessaryn is a
second attempt to create "Him" (Adam Warlock didn't quite work out as his creators had hoped)
True about Warlock not working out as his creators had hoped. I'd written Jessaryn as being of alien origin, though -- I thought that would allow him to have existed for longer than Warlock has, a way to differentiate them. As f

interesting, although they seem very similar to Adam Warlock and Paragon ( "Him" and "Her").
Are they meant to campaign on earth, or offworld?
Offworld, primarily, although that does not mean they couldn't return to Earth, say if some threat pointed in that direction. And yes, Jessaryn's origin is patterned on Adam Warlock's, though the power set is closer to Silver Surfer's and

These were created for a game I was in many years ago, but that was focused more on writing a story than anything else, so I never got around to working out their game stats until now. Just thought I'd toss them out here and see what people think.

The below was copied from another website that gave only this write up for the character. My question is, how to convert this into MSH ? I am thinking not so much of using original Firestorm himself, but rather postulating a human mutant with these powers.
Firestorm’s unique nuclear-molecular structure allows him control over the structure of matter, allowing him to reshape it into any form de

It wasn't so much a character type as a premise for a setting. Background: I had had for some time a concept for a 25th century world, with Earth as the center of an interplanetary empire, in which superheroes, including human mutants, existed. (The closest comic book analogue I can offhand think of would be the world of DC s Legion of Super Heroes, at least the way it was before Crisis) Someti

In 1996 I was running a MSH play-by-email game with original mutant characters. There was one sequence where several of the characters visited the X Mansion and spent a few days there. I'd planned eventually to have them go back, but the game died before that could happen. As I said, this was in 1996 -- but I chose to basically ignore the prior ten years of canon. So my game's timeline diverged
