As far as using powers for wealth goes, I had a character with molding & the engineering & repair/tinkering talents, who used his powers as the source of Am recources repairing much of the damage caused by super battles, I've also had a few hyper-inventors or weapons tinkers who went from Ty recources to Am or Mn via making stuff for government agencies

Use super strength and invulnerability to make money doing difficult tasks and also gain notoriety as an ecological savior. In the specific case shown in the link above, using animal control powers to ensure the beast would calmly let you help it would also work.

Vocal Control: Given the character can imitate virtually anything especially at higher ranks a career in voice acting would be perfect for them. They could even be a one-man voice-acting studio able to perform everything from every character to every sound effect by themselves. Just pick some appropriate talents (like Performer) to provide support and the character could have a fine career in the voice-acting field.

Some of you mentioned HEROES using mental powers to win at gambling and such. My personal opinion is it is wrong. If all people with mental powers wanted to win at gambling, there would soon be no Las Vegas. BUT, if HEROES were to get jobs with a casino to catch people using powers to win, that would be fine.
States that have legalized gambling should pass laws against using any powers to beat their casinos.

A new one from: Geas (see Character Creation Compendium or new Ultimate Powers book).

The super wouldn't have to compel people to give him money or anything, but he could be the ultimate Hypno-Guru. What better to stop smoking than to have a Geas cast on you to NOT smoke! or to NOT overeat, or to exercise everyday...etc. How much would you pay for that?
