Perhaps something can be done from the control panel to the effect that when you click on a post that you're following it will take you toteh last post as opposed to the beginning of the thread???

When you look at the topic titles it will say "Last post from Poster". Click on last post and it will take you there.

that's waht i thought... But maybe the same thing could be done from the Control center...

just from curiositiy: why is it important which side of the screen you have to click ?
now you should do it on the right side (Last Post), and if you change it from the control panel, then you can do it the same thing on the left side (topic main link).

I think a "go to first unread post" would be more useful, if someone reads a topic only once in 1 or 2 days, and it contains a lot new post. but this is a "comfort-function" only, i think.
