Ok, Real Life has given me a brief parole which I going to use to get my internet presence back up to date (probably won't get that done in time...).
Recent Photo of Gabriel, codename Helo
Using the "With great power..." point system and 500CPs I present to you a superhero that few have heard of. Someone who has consistently gotten the short end of the stick his whole life but is determined t

Editing posts is something that can be done earlier on, allowing one to correct errors in the short term.
After that time (not sure the exact amount of time), only moderators/admins can edit posts.
Actually, I think it's kind of a good thing that promotes additional content. You may have wished to replace the

ok, Since posterior editing is not really an option that I can find, here's an updated image of Doc Saxon.

Artworks is always a major plus. Allows us to see what you imagine
Definitely. Here's a recent pic of Samson I did in Hero machine. I'm not totally satisfied with the pose, but you get the idea.

All right, here is the good stuff. The stats and background for this guy. It came out longer than expected; I can't seem to make simple characters, one-dimensional characters just aren't my style

Very interesting character, strong support type. I can just imagine pairing her with Cassius Petronius
What software did you use to create the pic, or is it from a game?

Another one for individual initiative. Although using a group initiative to represent leadership is interesting.
Are you familiar with Battletech? In that game there is a system for group initiative might work here. Each side rolls initiative with the applicable bonuses. Then each side moves one unit, starting with the losing side. so:
1)Roll initiative
2)losing side moves one unit
3)winning si

Interesting... the Scarlet Dawn uses a traditional cell structure for security. Beyond that, two things stand out:
1) the Scarlet Dawn is able to inspire fanatical loyalty- or uses industrial grade mind control- if captured members commit suicide to avoid capture. Those few that are somehow captured would not be contract workers- they would endlessly spout their ideology (i.e. what made them tr

OK, been away for a while (actually, only away from posting. I've tried to follow the threads). Here's my latest idea for a chatacter. I've got a rough draft of the stats, and I've begun to write the background. For now, Here's a pic from HeroMachine:
Dr. Russell Saxon, aka "Doc Saxon", "The Saxon"
So... how about some comments? I have a rough draft of his abilities, but nothing set in stone

Interesting, a good story hook might be that Jessaryn is a second attempt to create "Him" (Adam Warlock didn't quite work out as his creators had hoped)

This guy seems like a mystic master of the martial arts.
Yeah, a mystically powered David Carradine

interesting, although they seem very similar to Adam Warlock and Paragon ( "Him" and "Her").
Are they meant to campaign on earth, or offworld?

Ok, not much free time but I managed enough to get some writing done. This was done using the points buy method, 400CP in total. Yes, I gamed some aspects because of the idea I had in mind. As you'll see this is not an overpowering character despite being very difficult to kill. In short, this is a character in which the story is more important than just the combats.

Working on another character: Real Life hasn't left me much time, but here's the initial idea. Zeus, the Olympian god and the ultimate "love 'em and leave 'em" type, didn't stop his philandering after worship of the Olympians died out. During the second century he spotted a hot Roman lass, and you know the rest of this story.
Born of Zeus and a mortal, The character is half-brother to Herculaes

Good stuff. Nice work with Hero Machine.
Thanks, I'm working up my second character, plus another idea for a Marvel campaign, but Real Life is slowing it down.

Here's my first character to post here on the forum. Samson the Lion: a macho, swaggering jock that turns into a lion. And sings heavy metal.
(Excuse the weak artwork. I'm still learning my way around Hero Machine)

Real name: Richard "Rick" Samson
Group: Independent
Origen of Powers: Induced mutation (failed possession by Sekhmet)
Citizenship: Citizen of South Africa, with per

Welcome to the forum!
All of those characters make me think of Butterball.
He may not have been one of the greats, but he has heart and character.
Ah yes, the mighty Butterball!

Hello to everyone!
Ok, there was a bit of trouble getting this account rolling, but now that that's out of the way we can get this show on the road
Like most here I got started in AD&D, but quickly moved on to other games. Don't know why, but the fantasy genre never appealed all that much to me. Ever since 89 my first love has always been battletech; I loved the game enough that I kept play
