POWERS

Physical and Mental Perfection: As a result of Sarah’s mutation she is as physically and mentally fit as an otherwise normal human can be, rendering her effectively super-human as a result of possessing this perfection that allows for what an otherwise normal human body cannot achieve. She even heals with little to no scarring no matter how severe the injury due to the degree of perfection of her physiology. She even resists toxins and disease as if having an Amazing Endurance and can expect to live 20% longer than a normal human. Her recall and learning abilities are superior to those of other human beings allowing her to quickly master virtually any subject whether physical or mental in nature.

EQUIPMENT

Body Armor: Sarah wears a full suit of protective armor constructed from the best materials available to provide her movement-unhindering protection. So long as she's wearing it she possesses Excellent protection from most physical and energy attacks and thanks to a specialized cooling/heating system Remarkable protection from temperature extremes. The armored costume itself is most fashionable, done up in dazzling colors of red, white, and blue that can have a disorientating affect on others (Psyche feat to avoid) when she's moving rapidly.

HEADQUARTERS

Sarah operates out of a modest space that had previously been a new car dealership and repair service. She has extensively renovated it into a 2 bedroom, 3 bath, luxury space and makes use of the repair facilities both for her own vehicle and for tinkering up anything she might need. She also has placed an electrified fence around both the outer perimeter with barbed wire along the top and close in around the building itself with security keypads and will dead lock if power is cut. There is also an emergency generator with a 24 hr supply of fuel to maintain the fences and home in case of an emergency.

HISTORY

Sarah was a fairly average and plain girl growing up, until she hit puberty and her mutation kicked in. In no time at all she went from being mediocre to excelling in everything in school as well as developing a drop dead gorgeous figure that only an airbrushed model could hope to have. Full figured yet obviously sculpted and muscular she was the school's darling, bringing them to many wins in the competitive sports, until her junior year of high school when an attack on the school by a damaged sentinel revealed to everyone her mutant status. Public sentiment quickly turned against her, any awards she'd earned for herself or her school were stripped away and she found herself the target of anti-mutant sentiment in the community.

The harassment however proved to be of no effect, at least not of the effect desired. Sarah was of far stronger character than the prejudiced could ever hope to be, she only studied harder and continued to excel in spite of the harassment and attempted abuse. Even without training she had little trouble dealing with confrontations that turned physical although did her best to diffuse the situation where she could (albeit with limited success). Even when denied the rewards she should have gotten for her exceptional grades she rose above it all, heading off to college to learn how to fight against the kind of injustice she had had to deal with, both inside and outside the system.

Acting as a 'Fix Anything' sort of person Sarah went to work tirelessly going about offering to solve whatever problems someone had from relationship to problems with the law (provided she wouldn't be helping the lawless), even adopting a more heroic moniker to represent that she would remain standing against all that came her way: Gibraltar!

While Sarah has been working hard to improve her relations with the community and that of mutants in general she has not yet developed any significant contacts.

Anti-Mutant factions primarily along with anyone envious of those more capable, more successful, or more attractive than they are.

PERSONALITY

Sarah is a young woman who has experienced the crush of prejudice first hand, having swung from the heights of success to battling to even be treated as a second-class citizen let alone an equal. In spite of that she has managed to retain a positive, hopeful outlook on life as she seeks to make the world better one person at a time, battling prejudice and evil from the very bottom to the very top.

Poison Sense: CL1000 ability to automatically determine if anything poisonous is within one area and locate it within one round

Empathy: All unicorns are naturally sensitive to the emotions of others, as such Gabrialla may detect the emotions of those around her with Monstrous ability.

Neutralize Poison: CL1000 ability to neutralize any poison provided she can touch the poisoned item/person with her horn. For someone who has been poisoned this will negate and reverse all damage incurred, and while it will not raise the dead will allow someone who’s just died from the effects to be resuscitated by qualified medical personnel.

Teleport-Self: Shift Y ability with a range of up to 25 miles. Inherent safeguards allow her to teleport into an area blind without fear of materializing within another being or object. If something occupies the intended location she will simply materialize within the nearest safe location to the targeted area that may contain her and anything she may be teleporting with. Unlike many forms of teleportation no disorientation or other penalties are suffered by anyone teleported by her. The maximum amount of weight she can teleport at one time is equal to her Strength. She has the following power stunts currently:
-On a successful Green Endurance feat she may make up to 10 rapid-fire teleports in a single turn in order to strike either one target or multiple targets multiple times, doing so as if she had an Amazing Fighting rank.
-Due to the combination of her Teleportation and Danger Sense an opponent requires a successful Red feat in order to strike her, otherwise she will have teleported away. Only if she's suppressing this for some reason (in order to protect someone for example) is this feat not active.

Hyper-Running: Due to her enhanced equine physiology Gabriella's capable of running at up to Amazing speeds without tiring.

Danger Sense: Gabriella's supernatural awareness of danger provides her with Amazing rank detection of threats to herself and others, allowing her to replace any relevant inferior stat with this Amazing rank when making a defensive move.

Reduced Aging: Unicorns are a naturally long-lived race, as such Gabriella only ages the equivalent of one year for every 100 years a human ages after roughly 18 years of age.

LIMITATIONS

If something should happen to her horn Gabriella would lose much of her natural abilities and powers, including her ability to sense and neutralize poison and willl suffer a 2CS reduction to her FASE and Psyche with a subsequent drop in Health. The only thing she will retain is her natural physical abilities, she will even age at the same rate as a normal human.

Gabriella's species is also herbivorous, as such she subsists on plants alone. Anything more than a tiny amount of meat will make her violently ill such that even on a successful Yellow Endurance feat she will still suffer a 1CS penalty on all her actions, or a 3CS penalty if she fails the save. This is not something her poison immunity can protect her from.

EQUIPMENT

Image Inducer: Identical to the one that Nightcrawler uses when looking to fit in this device cloaks Gabriella in an Unearthly rank illusion that makes her appear otherwise as a Caucasian human female although as it cannot do anything about her height she can and is unintentionally intimidating standing 7' tall as she does but preferable to the alternative. She has one spare device in case the main one malfunctions in some fashion.

Communicator: Done up as an unassuming choker around her neck this device allows Gabriella to contact the X-men when the proper activation sequence is triggered. It's base range is 250 miles although due to the ubiquitous cell phone satellite network she has effectively unlimited range and produces an Amazing rank signal for such things as determining it's ability to penetrate interference.

Credit Card: Xavier has set Gabriella up with a conventional credit card and explained the basics of human currency to her, providing her with access to Typical Resources as she travels.

HISTORY

Gabriella is a member of a nomadic, naturally evolved anthropomorphic unicorn race from a more primitive, magical realm. Often in hiding from those that sought to exploit their natural magic for their own perverse ends her herd was attacked and fought over by three different groups trying to acquire them dead or alive to suit their goals. A powerful magical spell prevented them from exercising their natural teleportation abilities to escape forcing them into a battle for their very freedom and lives. At the height of the battle frenzy her people tried one last desperate attempt to teleport to freedom, trying to combine all their abilities into one in order to overcome the spell. Multiple spell strikes intended to disrupt their escape attempt caused the effort to go awry with the herd's mass teleportation attempt going out of control, leaving her to awaken alone on a strange world filled with wonders and terrors beyond her imagination.

Terror drove her for weeks as she fled from the dangerous local creatures, with their strange magic and weapons. The end of the worst of her terror came when the X-men came to investigate reports about her, assuming her to be a confused and frightened mutant from the reports in the media. Gabriella's empathic abilities allowed her to sense the desire to help her on their part, with Xavier using his telepathic abilities to clear things up once it was clear that they couldn't communicate easily otherwise. Returning with them to their mansion Xavier and the rest provided her with a crash course in the basics of Earth life and human technology (including a session of telepathic language injection of English) and the opportunity to rest and have time to think about what to do now that she wasn't constantly on the run and living in fear.

Thankful for the help Gabriella decided to head out to learn more about the strange new world that might end up her home for the rest of her life, accepting the gifts they offered her with gratitude and set about to travel and learn about all the wonders (and horrors) her new home held.

Most of her enemies are defunct, existing as they do on her homeworld. She still has enemies though in the form of those fearful of her appearance or who would seek to exploit her.

PERSONALITY

Gabriella comes across as a naive and innocent person to those she comes across, always asking questions and trying to learn more about Earth and those that live on it. While true in a sense she grew up in a world where threats were a common occurrence and is not as naive as she appears, as her empathic abilities and Danger Sense ensure that only someone able to defeat those abilities could fool her into trusting them when she should not. She doesn't know what to make of humans currently, so full of conflicting desires and such fabulous wealth yet so many in poverty it's taxing her greatly trying to make sense of it all, but as a good person she is unhesitating in her efforts to help and protect others.

POWERS

Dice Creation: Dice Master has the ability to conjure various dice common to the various RPGs with Amazing ability, although most well known from the popular Dungeons and Dragons game. These dice have various effects depending on the number of sides each dice has, with the intensity of the effect equal to 10 times the number rolled, unless otherwise specified. This would mean that on a roll of one the intensity would be good, a three would be a Remarkable intensity, etc. Known dice include the following:

-D4: These dice create a blinding flash to a range of one area, capable of blinding anyone for 1d10 turns on a failed Endurance feat

-D6: Unleash an energy attack of any selected type (electricity, magnetism, heat, etc.) doing damage to the nearest target up to the intensity rolled.

-D8: Creates a spray of restraining straps that last for 1d10 minutes and bind with an intensity equal to that rolled.

-D10: A potentially powerful explosive dice it will explode for the appropriate damage rolled to a range of one area, so on a weak roll may only cause Good damage while on a great roll could inflict Unearthly damage.

-D12: Generates a protective suit of magical armor providing protection equal to the intensity rolled against all attacks for 1d10 minutes.

-D20: This die grants teleportation at power rank ability dependent upon the roll, allowing Dice Master to either randomly teleport himself or others or if he so desires to a specific location, provide it is within the range of his currently rolled rank.

-D100: The most powerful die currently available and the only one capable of benefiting others it heals anyone, either himself or others, at the power rank rolled, and may even resurrect the recently dead (no more than an hour) if the roll is above 50. This magic is powerful enough to fully regenerate all lost or damaged tissues or limbs provided the level of healing exceeds the health of the target by more than twice their health taken as a rank number (example: having 50 health means a roll exceeding 100 will regrow all lost organs and tissues as well as fully healing the target, so on any roll of 10 or higher in this instance). It will also purge all diseases and poisons and can even fully regenerate the body of a full-conversion cyborgs on a roll exceeding 50.

HISTORY

Marvin grew up as a fairly normal geek with an obsession for RPGs and fantasy gaming in particular, one he turned into a modest source of income as he tried to make his obsession into a career. Over time though his obsession grew, especially around the dice as he fell into the study of magical lore and numerology, caught up in the magic he was sure lay within the dice. Certain that if he just puzzled things out he'd gain all the power and wealth (not to mention hot women) he could ever want he sought after every scrap of magical text he could find, as well as creating his own rituals the deeper he sank into things.

Even Marvin isn't certain what happened the day things all came to a head in the midst of one of his elaborate rituals cobbled together from existing rituals he'd dug up and his own thoughts, he only knew that when he woke up afterwards that he felt different. Not sure what was up he thought he'd go play a game to settle his nerves and center himself, not even noticing in his fuzzy mental state when a die simply appeared in his hand, but he did notice the results when the D4 exploded in a blinding flash of light and left him stunned at the results.

When his vision returned and his head cleared he marveled at the results and tried again, only this time being careful not to stare at it and toss it farther away from him. Elated at the results he went outside to experiment, just in case something went wrong, and found with concentration he could create a variety of dice, each with different effects (some of which left some craters in his previously flawless private lawn). Getting a serious rush off of the destruction and what he could do in general he spent weeks practicing with his newfound abilities, getting down the limitations and benefits each had before embarking on the career he realized he REALLY wanted, to have it all and get back at everyone who ever thought he wasn't good enough or mocked him for his differences, and he'd do it as the Dice Master.

None, although does have a few fanboys devoted to his games.

ENEMIES

Marvin hadn't picked up any serious enemies to date but it's only a matter of time before he crosses someone like the Scorpion or Vulture and gets to really test himself as a villain and see he's got what it takes to survive and prosper in the super-villain community.

PERSONALITY

Much as one would expect from someone living out his fantasies as a fantasy super-villain he is prone to grandiose proclamations and flowery demands and to plotting what he feels are elaborate plans from behind the scenes. While he is certainly extremely intelligent and one would think he should be highly successful his obsession with his fantasies often lead to his defeat, although his penchant for always keeping a D20 handy helps to ensure he escapes to continue his plots. Given his obsession he's most likely to steal rare and valuable items related to various fantasy novels and RPGs, although will steal anything he finds interesting. Given his failure with the females he's also a problem stalker for any female he finds interesting or attractive enough to want.

POWERS

Internal Limbo: The most important feature of Rescue, he is in possession of an Unearthly rank Internal Limbo that appears as an idyllic park-like landscape dotted with cottages and a pleasant weather with day/night cycles identical and linked to Earth. Those that are sent to this limbo feel nothing but peace and tolerance no matter how they might have been outside. When the portal is active Rescue tends to restrict it to the palm of one of his hands, whichever he's attempting to use to draw someone in with. Unsuspecting targets are automatically transferred while those with reason to be suspicious have the chance to avoid being captured by a successful Agility feat to dodge or use of some suitable travel power to escape being transferred. In the event of his death everything contained within the Internal Limbo will be safely restored to the external world. Rescue has a number of powers linked to this one including the following.

Diminution (Atomic Shrinkage): In order to bring large targets into his internal limbo this Amazing rank power will shrink struck targets down to 0.25% of their original size in order to allow them to fit through the portal. This process is automatically reversed when the target is released from the Internal Limbo.

Biophysical Control (Regeneration): Only functional within the Internal Limbo all subjects contained within are provided with Remarkable rank Regeneration, allowing them to heal and recover from any and all injuries.

Reconstruction: Rescue's Internal Limbo can also restore any damaged or broken object or device with Remarkable ability, causing it to effectively regenerate as if it were being repaired at a rate 30 times faster than a normal human repairing it would repair it at.

Immortality: Only applying to subjects within the Internal Limbo all those contained within no longer age and will not die when reduced to zero health and Shift-Zero Endurance allowing anyone brought within to recover no matter how horrific the injuries.

Self-Sustenance: Applicable only to those within his Internal Limbo all those inside no longer require food, water, or air in order to survive sustained by the energies of the Internal Limbo although may eat and drink for the pleasure of it if desired.

Clairvoyance: Only working within Rescue's Internal Limbo he may witness whatever may be occurring within it with Amazing ability.

Clairaudience: Similar to Rescue's Clairvoyance he may hear anything that is said or going on within his Internal Limbo with Amazing ability.

Speech-throwing: Rescue may send his voice into his Internal Limbo to talk to selectively talk to anyone or everyone at once with Amazing ability.

Insta-Change: Rescue may change from his civilian attire and his costume and back again at the speed of thought with Amazing ability, with the attire contained within a specialized Internal Limbo devoted to the storage of unused outfits/costumes.

Power Control/Negation: This Unearthly rank power only functions within Rescue's Internal Limbo, depowering anyone within for the duration if their stay (does not negate powers required for the survival of an individual and can be selectively turned on or off at Rescue's discretion).

EQUIPMENT

Body Armor: Worked into Rescue's costume to compensate for his lack of comprehensive defensive abilities it provides him with Remarkable protection against most physical attacks, Excellent against most Energy, and Incredible against Electrical attacks.

Body Recorder: Concealed in Rescue's costume are three full audio/video high def cameras, one facing forward and one facing behind him attached to his head and one in his belt. The on-board recorders each have storage capacity for a full 24hrs of recording and can toggle for upload to a secure server for extra redundancy.

HISTORY

Troy Jones got the first inspiring moment for what he wanted to do with his life when he was saved by paramedics after breaking through thin ice on a pond as a boy. Seeing them as heroes that saved lives he grew up learning all he could about the profession, his exceptional intelligence allowing him to tackle material far above what would be expected for one of his age. He was well on the way to an advanced degree in Emergency Medical Services when his second life-changing moment occurred.

Called in for a house fire he had the opportunity to save a firefighter injured in the fire and felt called to both professions. Torn between the two he devoted himself to meeting the requirements for a firefighter along with those of the paramedic profession, more he devoted a portion of the rest of his time working out how he could manage working both jobs at once. His zeal and impeccable credentials paid off as he managed to acquire part time employment as both a firefighter and a paramedic.

The final and most life-changing event for Troy came from his firefighting career, an act of arson against a small museum by a religious fundamentalist. While desperately trying to ensure nobody was left inside and limit the damage as much as possible he was near a flaming mineral display that included chunks of an unidentified meteorite. The heat, the chemicals, something about that moment caused the meteorite fragments to explode in a burst of crimson energy that passed through his gear like it wasn't even there. Disoriented from exposure to the strange energy only the quick action of another firefighter got him out safely.

Subsequent medical exams found nothing wrong with him, but Troy knew something was different about himself. Over the next few weeks he found himself dreaming of a pastoral land and having things disappear when he tried picking them up only to reappear again without a clue why. It was only when he saw a super-hero documentary on TV that he realized what was happening, that something about that day in the museum had changed him, something that had made him more than human. With that realization he was able to focus his investigation into more productive paths, eventually working out what the strange dreamscape was and that he could send things there and retrieve them again. He even learned that things living and non drawn within would be restored to complete health or perfect condition within a short period of time. With this he could do so much more to fulfill his desires to help others, rescuing others was his life's goal and so he would become Rescue!

HISTORY

Judy was an average small town girl gone wrong, at least as far as her family and classmates were concerned. While having a promising measure of success in high-school gymnastics she hadn't really had much motivation in life and no idea what she wanted to do other than make money the easy way, as a result she found herself soon ending up an exotic dancer working the higher class Gentleman's clubs. It also didn't take her long to end up the favored dancer of a higher class of criminal, one hooked up in the distribution of drugs and developing new, unregulated drugs by the name of Albert Dean.

Months into their relationship he escalated his pressure on the young woman to move to a more 'benefits-sharing' format, something she continued to reject having more interested in money than dating at the time. Furious over the continued rejection he eventually decided to eliminate the source of his humiliation, first slipping Judy a drug to sedate her allowing him to easily transport her to a remote location then give her a lethal mixture of the failed attempts at new narcotics and left her to die. Unfortunately for her would-be killer his failed drugs had a mutagenic affect instead, causing her over the next few hours to undergo a metamorphosis into her final superhuman form. Awakening in a pile of bubbles she was confused at first, groggily sorting out that her customer had drugged her and dumped her in the woods, and unsure why she was covered in bubbles. When the bubbles responded to her curiosity and moved to her will she realized something had happened to her, something that had changed her forever.

When she managed to make her way back to the city everything came to a head when she encountered Albert, who was both terrified and outraged that she'd somehow managed to survive and attacked her in an attempt to kill her outright, only to be defeated by her due to her newly enhanced body and the use of her powers. Due to his ranting while trying to kill her she learned everything that he'd done and what he did for a living, gaining a burning hatred for drug dealers as a result. She finally had a motivation for her life, previously indifferent towards drug dealers and drug use her hatred of Albert and what he was gave her the driving need to put an end to the drug trade. Working up a costume to help conceal her identity she decided she would become a terror to all those who hurt others with drugs, as the Bubble Queen!

Even as she continues her entertaining at Gentleman's clubs she now uses every opportunity to subtly work information out of her customers that might help her in her pursuit of drug dealers, as she hunts them down where possible to destroy their resources, steal their money, and leave information where possible to see them arrested and convicted and removed from the streets.

HISTORY

Erica Waynescott was something of a rarity in her area, an avid female gamer with a passion for fantasy games in particular. So much so that much of her life revolved around it, reaching the point that her idea of a job was producing figurines and other miniatures for sale to members of the gaming community. She also developed an interest in the occult, digging up every scrap of lore that she could, lore that she tested out in hopes of developing real magic. It wasn't until she was taking a break and doing her figurine production instead that her breakthrough came, frustrated with how one was coming out she tossed it onto the floor whereupon it transformed into the creature she'd been crafting. Terrified at first she soon realized it was completely obedient to her and faded and returned to its original from an hour later.

Following several more experiments after that she worked out that if she put the right kind of effort into what she was crafting it could animate for a short time. HISTORY

Jack Power was born to Lucas and Natalie Power, a pair of survivalists that brought their son up to be able to survive on his own for the certain collapse of society that they knew was sure to happen. It was to his good fortune though that they weren't of an isolationist nature and he had the opportunity to enjoy a conventional education as well. His health wasn't as good as his parents would have wished in spite of their efforts to build him up but enough that he managed to prove satisfactory in the execution of the various physically demanding skills that they expected him to learn.

Something he kept secret from his parents was a growing fascination with the super-heroes that were reported in the news, avidly searching everything that he could about them on the Internet. They were just so inspiring! While his parents had no faith in the world and expected its fall the heroes seemed determined to prove them wrong. He couldn't help but wish he could be one too, even going so far to create his own replicas of the iconic weapons wielded by two of the most well-known heroes around. This may have influenced how things went for him one fateful day when he was playing about with his creations off in the woods.

Members of the offshoot race the Deviants captured him as part of a number of random humans snatched up under similar circumstances in order to experiment on them, brutal experiments that worked against him as they awakened something deep inside of him, causing his desires to manifest as his body and mind were remade along that heroic ideal and even the replicas he made becoming far more than the mere powerless steel that he forged them from. Unprepared for such a turn of events Jack managed to free the rest of the victims and return with them to the surface world where he soon decided to take what happened as fate telling him to embrace his heroic dreams and become something more so he would indeed embrace them, he would make his name known to the world, the name of Captain Power!

As a result of his upbringing Jack is generally serious about everything he deals with, only when it comes to his love of super-heroes does his personality change and he becomes an upbeat and outgoing fanboy gushing about how awesome they are. Natural Weaponry/Teeth: Similar to her claws Draconia possesses Incredible material strength teeth and hyper-strong jaws, allowing her to bite for Incredible edged damage.

Extra Body Part/Prehensile Tail: Roughly 7' long, thick but tapering down to a spaded tip this tail provides Draconia with an extra blunt attack capable of dealing up to Amazing blunt damage and may be used for tripping, entangling, binding, etc targets with Monstrous ability.

Elongation: Draconia may stretch any part of her body with Unearthly ability and range. Power Stunts include:
-Grapple up to two opponents with Unearthly ability by stretching her arms and binding her targets in them.

Plasticity: Draconia has Unearthly rank malleability and near total control over her physical structure. Power stunts include the following:
-By enveloping an explosive device she may smother and contain it within the confines of her body, letting her suppress up to Monstrous explosive damage without harm, and Unearthly at the expense of taking Excellent damage due to the effort to contain it.

True Invulnerability: The combination of Draconia's scaly, orange hide and her malleable flesh due to her plasticity provides her with Incredible rank protection from physical and energy attacks, reducing damage by 7CS before applying damage (if any).

Regeneration: Draconia enjoys the benefits of Poor rank regeneration, recovering lost health at a rate 4 times faster than a normal creature would and can slowly regrow lost or damaged body parts over time.

Fire Generation: Draconia may generate flames of up to Unearthly intensity and fire them up to power rank range. She currently has one power stunt:
-By concentrating for one turn she may explode in a Nova flame, causing Shift Z damage out to one area away from her current location, and Shift X damage from there to five areas away. Afterwards her flame powers will be reduced to Feeble for 1d10 turns and must make an Endurance feat to avoid passing out for 1d10 turns from the strain

Fire Control: Unearthly ability to manipulate fire, whether naturally occurring or power based within her area of effect. Power stunts include the following:
-Reshape her flames to create cages, barriers, etc. of up to Unearthly intensity flames.
-Absorb existing flames with Unearthly ability, although if forced to absorb greater than Unearthly intensity flames she will be forced to make a Red power feat each turn to avoid bursting into a Nova-explosion. As such she will always attempt to flee to a safe distance before she’s forced to detonate.

Energy Sheath (Fire): Draconia may sheath her body, whole or in part, in Unearthly intensity flames. Her control is precise enough as to allow her to ignite just a single finger. Objects of less than Amazing material strength will melt and vaporize before being able to inflict any harm upon her and anyone attempting to strike her will suffer damage equal to the current intensity of her flames.

Invulnerability (Heat and Flame): Draconia enjoys CL1000 resistance to Heat and Flames.

Hyper-Invention: Amazing rank increase to Reason to comprehend, design, repair, and improve upon existing technology as well as invent new technologies as desired. She also enjoys a bonus of a –2CS reduction to the Resource feat cost before making the check.

Force Field: Monstrous rank protection from all attacks, capable of covering up to 1 area at full strength, dropping 1CS for each area beyond the first, to a maximum of 9 areas, and may maintain it at full strength at maximum extension on a red psyche feat for 1d10 turns before collapsing for 1d10 minutes from the strain.

Invisibility (Physics): Amazing ability to render herself undetectable by visible, UV, and infrared light. Thanks to the coaching of the Invisible Woman she has developed the following power stunts as well:
-Render other objects and being invisible at power rank range.
-Render selected parts of an object invisible, allowing her to seemingly peal away layer after layer to investigate something. This is generally used to investigate objects that might prove dangerous, like bombs, to determine safe ways to disarm them, or to peal away parts of a human to search for possible injury without requiring invasive surgery or when lacking available scanner technology.
-Generate a sphere of invisibility, rendering everything within its confines invisible.
-Negate physics-based invisibility on an opposed feat roll of the intensity of invisibility she seeks to dispel against her own power rank.
-Detect the use of Physics-based Invisibility with Amazing ability and power rank range.

HISTORY

Draconia is a member of a peaceful, highly advanced alien race living in the Negative Zone. One of its most brilliant scientists she came to the attention of Blastaar, dictatorial ruler of his planet with an unquenchable desire to conquer the whole of the Negative Zone. Forced into servitude to him she was pressed to make weapons to help him achieve his goals, an event that brought about her crossing paths with the heroic Fantastic Four who had frequently stopped Blastaar's efforts to conquer Earth and spread his influence into the Earth Dimension.

Her greatest weapon proved to be one that drained the very life from its targets, one that was soon trained upon the heroic quartet. Anguished over seeing such noble beings suffering at the hands of her creation before Blastaar could stop her she destroyed the device in what she was sure would be her last act in life, as rupturing the containment cells resorted in it exploding with her at ground zero of the blast. Circumstances proved to be in her favor though as the explosion didn't kill her indeed it gave her new life, a life that empowered her with everything the four heroes possessed. That power allowed her to turn the tide alongside the Fantastic Four and end at least that scheme and free her people from Blastaar's service. Unfortunately as a result of her transformation she was no longer acceptable as a member of her people, a troubling circumstance that had the four invite her back to Earth instead, offering her a chance to start anew there. With no other choices available that she could see and grateful for the offer she followed them back to their world, to start a new life far from her home.

Draconia is a friendly, peaceful creature with an endless curiosity especially with regards to science and discovery. POWERS

Biophysical Control (Regeneration): As an unexpected side-effect of her artificial construction Tina has the power to heal living creatures including regenerating lost or damaged flesh with Remarkable ability. She can successfully regrow lost limbs on a Green power feat, requires a yellow feat in order to regenerate lost or damaged organs, and requires a red feat for the brain and neural tissue. This power is most effective when she can make direct contact with the target, losing 1CS from the power rank every 10' of range she attempts to heal over. She may also heal multiple beings as well for an additional 1CS loss for each additional target beyond the first.

Biophysical Control (Decay): Along with her ability to heal and regenerate the flesh of others she may cause it to quickly break down and decay with Remarkable ability. Targets of this power will quickly rot, die and disappear into dust if subjected to this power long enough. Tina almost never uses this power due to how lethal it is, rarely using it at more than Poor rank as a warning to a target to back off rather than as a sustained attack. She will only use it at full power in a truly deadly situation where it is the only way she believes she can reasonably protect someone from a dangerous individual out to directly end their life.

Biophysical Control (Revival): Lifeline's ability to heal is so potent she has the ability to restore life to the recently deceased. Her Remarkable power rank in this ability allows her to revive someone who has been dead up to 30 days provided she can manage the color feat depending upon the state of the corpse. An intact, un-embalmed and undecayed corpse requires a Green feat or better to revive, a Yellow or better feat is required for a decayed corpse, and only a Red feat has a chance of restoring an embalmed body or partial remains.

Body Resistance: Tina's artificial flesh is considerably more durable than normal human flesh, providing her with Excellent rank protection from most physical and energy attacks.

Regeneration: Lifeline's healing powers also improve the rate of her own healing, granting her Excellent rank regenerative abilities. Over time she can regrow virtually all lost flesh including limbs and organs, although having to regrow organs like heart or brain she will enter into a death-like state while her body works on dealing with such massive trauma.

Invulnerability (Toxins, Disease, Aging): Due to the artificial nature of Lifeline's flesh and blood she is effectively immune to toxins, disease, and aging, enjoying CL1000 resistance to these attack forms.

Universal Donor: Tina's artificial blood is universally compatible with virtually all creatures, adapting as necessary for whoever it might be used with.

HISTORY

Young Albert Greenbelt had grown up with a fascination for WWII, particularly the android Human Torch and his creator Professor Phineas Horton, due to stories told to him by his great grand-father who'd met the Human Torch when he was a young man. This fascination led him to learn everything that he could about the Professor particularly everything he'd published related to the creation of artificial humans.

By the time he was an adult Albert was obsessed with carrying on Phineas' work, perfecting the construction of artificial humans and other artificial lifeforms. The advances in science since WWII provided him with avenues of thought and research unheard of all those decades ago. It wasn't long before he embarked on his greatest task, the creation of a complete artificial human rather than the artificial organs he'd tested his processes on.

Over the period of several weeks Albert shut himself away from everything, having taken a vacation from work to focus on nothing but the process of creating his perfect being. Slowly and painstakingly he oversaw the growth of her from the skeleton on up, with a special device to stimulate the developing brain and imprint basic working knowledge and language skills into his creation. On the fateful day of her decanting Albert was elated, his newly born and named creation seemed perfect! Until she reached for him and his flesh started to decay that is, then reversed and regenerated. This was totally unexpected, he was so certain he'd worked out the kinds of problems his inspiration had. What had he done wrong with Tina? He couldn't announce her to the world like this, not until he solved the problem and worked out why she could do what she could.

For her part Tina was still quite naive and socially inept in spite of Albert's best efforts (since he wasn't all that socially skilled himself) and her accelerated development left her with some quirks, to say the least. She developed the overwhelming obsession with dressing like a sexy nurse, something she would rarely allow herself to be made to dress otherwise, much to Albert's chagrin. As she gained full control over her abilities she decided she wanted to do more than be cooped up inside Albert's lab, she wanted to actually go out and help people. Realizing he couldn't really stop her and it would allow him to see how his creation dealt with the outside world and would give him more data on her and let him work out what happened before he tried creating more or revealed her existence to the world at large.

Given what she's learned from television and what access she'd had to the internet Tina decided she'd be a super-heroine, helping rescue those in need and heal the injured and save all she could. With that decision she chose to call herself Lifeline!

Jessica Parson could be said to have been blessed from birth after being one of two infants to survive a serial killer nurse's attack on the newborns for the neo-natal care unit of her hospital with something he'd concocted in his basement one day under the belief with it being something fabricated in such a fashion it could never be traced back to him (he was wrong). She grew up doted on by her parents and close as blood sisters with the other survivor as the two families were brought together by the tragedy. This led them both to a fascination in music and singing and a desire to be popular singers, but it was the fateful day that they attended a concert by the mutant Dazzler that everything changed.

All those years ago the chemicals she and her friend had been exposed to and survived had done something to the pair, something that was triggered by the emotions, excitement, and proximity to the mutant. The power to command and create sound itself became hers, power that could only improve her chances to become the kind of super-star she and Cheryl always wanted to be. Power that also found her and her friend being dragged reluctantly into the world of super-heroics when they only wished to find super-stardom instead.

Sound to Light Conversion: Sparkle has the unlimited ability absorb, store, and convert sound into light. This stored and converted sound can be used for the following power stunts currently with room to learn more:
-Light shows to entertain
-Generate a soothing light display that can calm or hypnotize everyone within one area, requiring a Psyche feat to avoid being tranquilized for 1d100 rounds.
-Intimidation: Due to how impressive her displays can be her opponents must succeed on a Good Psyche feat or be driven to flee or fight her at -2CS.
-Generate holograms for various effects. Due to how intense the concentration required for this she can perform no other action while doing so.
-Lasers dealing either force or energy damage up to her current stored levels of sound (fully exhausting her energy in a single massive attack will require making a Yellow Endurance feat or pass out for 1d10 rounds).

Invulnerability to Sound-based attacks: Due to her sonic conversion power Sparkle cannot be harmed by any attack that makes use of sound. She will automatically absorb it to fuel her light-powers instead.

Immortality: Earth Lord's life is tied to the Earth, so long as the Earth remains he cannot die and will always reform if seemingly killed/destroyed. Only somehow severing that connection will render him vulnerable to death.

Quarterstaff: The Quarterstaff known as Heartwood is a CL3000 material strength item, fashioned from the heart wood of The First Tree and further augmented by the mages that crafted it into its final form. HISTORY

Born to Richard and Bella Feldman, poor working class parents who were barely above the poverty level Howard had a hard life growing up, but with loving parents to encourage him he weathered it fine in spite of the bullying growing up. He managed to excel at history, the way people had once lived proved fascinating to him and left him with a passion for personally being involved in discovering as much lost history as possible. He was tireless in his pursuits and his zeal and attention to detail quickly saw him through college and much sought after to lead a dig or otherwise be part of a dig site's work. Eventually he found himself caught up in scraps of stories regarding a mysterious temple lost in China for millenia, a story that became his obsession, leading him to violate all common sense and reason to seek it out on his own.

Years of fruitless effort finally lead to success after he illegally snuck into China chasing after his obsession. Far and away from all civilization he found the temple buried beneath an artificial mound of dirt and fully covered in undergrowth and trees. Violating all the rules and guidelines he'd learned and followed throughout his life he descended into the mound and dug his way inside, marveling at how intact it was in spite if the ages that had passed and the weight of earth and trees pressing down upon it. He could smell the earth around him and as his light played over the walls he could tell he was the first in thousands of years to gaze upon the story writ upon its walls. A tale of the First Tree and how the mighty plant was felled by early Man in their greed to claim its power for their own, but it proved their undoing as the staff carved from its very heart and imbued with power beyond their comprehension ended them all for their unworthiness. Recovered by more peaceful yet still unworthy souls it was transported by them to the place where they built the temple to place it within until the time one worthy of it came to claim its power.

Scoffing at the idea of a staff of power Howard was still entranced by the idea of retrieving such an ancient relic if it hadn't rotted away over time. Making his way through the ancient structure he eventually found it in what could only be considered a small shrine set in an alcove deep within, still intact after uncounted eons. Without even thinking about it he reached out for the staff, the strangely golden wood almost seeming to call to him as he was overwhelmed by the desire to be the first to touch it in so long a time. The moment he grasped the staff it was if his mind exploded in light, suffused along with the rest of him with the unfathomable energies it contained. He knew with absolute certainty that the story was true, that in the ancient past the living heart of the First Tree had been ripped from it and it had laid in wait all these ages for one it could bequeath its power to, the one that could protect the earth from those like the men that had created it. He was to be that one. He was now and forever more the Earth Lord!

He breathes life into history for others rather than leaving it to appear to be nothing but boring facts. This can cause him to take unnecessary risks in combat in order to protect something of historical value, including acting recklessly rather than letting cooler thinking prevail.

Limit Break: Fantasia's most incredible power is the ability to draw out her body's maximum power, going beyond the normal limits into the ultimate extremes. For each step beyond the first (raising her FASE to Remarkable and her Health to 120) she begins taking damage so long as she's at that particular level, with this damage coming off of her base Health of 80. When her base health drops to zero she will fall unconscious until she's had time to recover as normal. When increasing her FASE to Incredible (health=160) she takes Feeble (2) damage every round she's at that level, at a FASE of Amazing (health=200) she takes Poor (4) damage and at her maximum level of augmentation Monstrous (Health=300) she takes Typical (6) damage each round. Damage from normal attacks meanwhile comes off the 'phantom' health generated by her boost first. She normally spends her time awake in the first step of augmentation, rarely remaining at her natural level of ability.

Body Resistance: Fantasia's physical durability is exceptional, as a result she has Excellent resistance to physical and energy attacks, protection that increases at the same rate as her FASE as she releases her limits.

HISTORY

Francesca is the result of one of the many clandestine human breeding and augmentation programs around the world. By the time she was an adult she showed promise but was ultimately deemed a failure and discarded. Left to survive on the streets her true power was eventually awakened after a near-fatal beating by a gang caused her latent potential to be released. Finally she had the power she needed to prove her worth, but she wouldn't waste the time trying to prove herself to those that discarded her, she would prove herself superior to them by rejecting them entirely and fighting for the common people of the world that they so looked down upon.

Cyberpathic Link: Doctor Octopus enjoys a mental link to his tentacles allowing him to control them as if they were an extension of his own body. EQUIPMENT

Tentacle Harness: Doctor Octopus' signature weapons are the four tentacles attached to the harness that he wears around his chest. Due to aggressive efforts to upgrade them he has managed to acquire and remake the casing with CL1000 material strength Adamantium rendering them even more indestructible than the Unearthly material strength copy he was once given. Each tentacle has a range of one area and ends in a set of three single-jointed pincers capable of exerting Amazing strength. Due to the exceptional nature of their design they are capable of a range of delicate tasks including turning pages in a book, holding a cigar for him to smoke, and rotating in either direction to function like a screwdriver or drill. The upgraded design removes the original manual controls entirely due them having been used to defeat him in the past (as restraining the manual controls will prevent him from being able to manipulate the tentacles). He enjoys the following powers and abilities so long as his tentacles are available:
-Each turn the tentacles are capable of making use of two of the following actions at Amazing ability on a successful Green Psyche feat, any three on a successful Yellow Psyche Feat, and any 4 on a successful Red Psyche Feat.
-Strike for Incredible blunt damage or Remarkable edged damage (whichever he chooses) up to one area away. Due to the use of True Adamantium for his tentacles edged attacks treat an opponent's body armor as being 6CS less than it actually is.
-Grapple a target within one area with Incredible strength if struck by one tentacle or Amazing strength if struck by two. The maximum he can normally use is two as he needs to use one tentacle to brace/support a corresponding tentacle, so if he's using two tentacles to grapple he cannot use the others and is committed to simply grappling that turn. He may however choose to hurl a successfully grappled target with Incredible strength if using one tentacle and Amazing if using two.
-Doctor Octopus may choose to use a tentacle to block an attack, if successful the tentacle will take the damage rather than the good doctor. This ability enjoys a 2CS bonus against blunt or edged melee attacks due to how swiftly the tentacles can move but no bonuses against ranged blunt or edged attacks, and suffers a 3CS penalty against shooting, energy, and force attacks.
-If he has at least 2 tentacles not engaged in anything he may use them to increase his ability to dodge, letting him dodge as if he possessed Incredible Agility and Amazing if all 4 tentacles are free and dedicated to dodging.
-By using at least two tentacles Doctor Octopus can travel at up to 2 areas/round, or up to 4 areas/round if using all four tentacles for travel. Due to the reach of his tentacles he can travel over obstacles up to 2 stories high without hindrance and may scale vertical surfaces with Good ability by punching handholds into the surface.
-Generate winds up to 50MPH provide he has at least one tentacle free, reducing the ability of someone to hit him with small thrown weapons by 2CS and can be used to disperse gases.

HISTORY

The history of Doctor Octopus is identical to his Earth-616 counterpart until the years of defeat particularly at the hands of Spider-man forced him to reinvent himself. Audacious and aggressive work on his part allowed him to steal sufficient materials including true Adamantium to upgrade his tentacles significantly, followed by acquiring and modifying the Goblin serum in order to provide him with the physical might and ability to match any opponent, removing him as the weak link.

Doctor Octopus has allied himself with a variety of super-villains over the years, including but definitely not limited to the following: Electro, Sandman, Vulture, Mysterio and Kraven.

Glad you like the work on him. I've been trying to make up a few characters, heroes and villains, using existing tech as their origins or means of upgrading themselves since there's so much laying around the MU and after making that Origins thread years ago long past due using some of that material to improve existing characters or create new characters.

EQUIPMENT

Dominator Exo-Skeleton: All of Dominator's powers are the result of the Dominator cyborg exo-skeleton created from combining the technology of the Guardsman's power armor with the technologies of the super-villains the Controller, the Wingless Wizard, and the Constrictor. It provides the following powers and abilities:
-Body Armor: The armor provides Incredible protection from most physical attacks, Remarkable vs most energy and Monstrous vs Radiation.
-Flight: Boot jets provide Dominator with flight at Remarkable speeds (15 areas/round) for up to 2 hrs before requiring resting the turbines for 15 minutes to avoid failure from overuse. They may also be used as weapons dealing Excellent damage to any targets within 2 areas. Combined with the anti-gravity flight systems the armor may move up to to 23 areas/round when using both simultaneously. He may carry up to 10 tons in flight.
-Anti-gravity Flight: Derived from the Wizard's technology this system provides flight by itself of Good air speeds (8 areas/round) as well as the ability to hover in place. This flight system may be used indefinitely and allows for breaching the atmosphere with an effectively unlimited flight ceiling.
-Repulsors: Rupulsor technology in the armor's gauntlets allows for the inflicting of up to Incredible energy damage to a range of 2 areas.
-Protected Senses: Due the closed systems involved for the armor it provides total protection against scent and touch-based attacks, and Amazing protection against Hearing and Sight-based attacks.
-Life Support: The armor provides for up to one hour of oxygen when operating in complete-sealed fashion, as well as Amazing rank protection against heat and cold.
-Due to the inclusion of the micro-circuited power converters incorporated into the Controller's own exo-skeleton Dominator may increase his own physical strength in a similar fashion, with roughly every 20 people enslaved to his control discs increasing his strength by roughly 2 tons, with 200 people under his control he can increase his Strength rank to Amazing. Due to several practical limits (number of slave discs he can create, amount of energy his systems can convert at one time) his current ability restricts him to no more than Amazing Strength.
-Power Transferral: In cases where his slave discs are attached to someone of above average psionic potential (Professor X, Jean Grey, Emma Frost, etc) this abilities will be temporarily transferred to Dominator allowing him to exercise the same powers for the duration that they're controlled by one of his slave disks.
Telepathy: Dominator enjoys an Amazing rank telepathic link with everyone enslaved by his control discs, allowing him to experience whatever his slaves are experiencing.
Mind Control: By concentrating on a particular slave Dominator may control them as an extension of himself for as long as he chooses to do so, although he may only do so with one individual at a time. He may also give his slaves orders that they will carry out without question so long as the discs are in place.
Tentacles: Housed along the arms from shoulder to wrist these 30' tentacles emerge through housings along the backs of the hands. Forged of Unearthly material strength secondary Adamantium they may be used as whips inflicting Incredible damage to a target and can easily rend steel and lesser materials. They may also be used as bonds, exerting up to Remarkable force on a victim and once in place on a target are virtually unbreakable. The tentacles may also be electrified, allowing them to discharge a Monstrous rank electrical attack on any target.

Control Discs: These discs are what Dominator attaches to his victims in order to control them and gain access to their psionic energies, they adhere to the skin with Amazing ability and are often applied to the base of the neck so as to not be obvious but can be attached anywhere to the head (the forehead being second-most common particularly if he doesn't need to worry about concealing them). He generally has at least a dozen of them on him at all times in case of need. These discs work on a different band than the Controller's so the Controller gains no power from these discs nor does Dominator gain power from the Controller's control discs.

HISTORY

Calvin Carter had always been a selfish child and bully growing up, but clever and intelligent enough to ensure that the adults around him always saw him as a decent kid that was simply being slandered by jealous and envious kids. By the time he was an adult he'd fully developed into a sadist who'd decided law-enforcement would give him the best outlet for his needs; the public often excused brutality when it was a member of law-enforcement committing it especially if the victim was socially stigmatized in some fashion.

Eventually Calvin found his way into working security at The Vault, the first dedicated super-human prison in the US, giving him the opportunity to lord it over super-villains instead of just the normal victims he'd begun to grow tired of. He relished these opportunities to dominate an entirely new set of victims and began to get ideas from the criminals, a desire for even greater power. He soon began looking over the super-villain weapons storage and plotting what he could best exploit, when the opportunity of a lifetime came when Tony Stark assaulted the facility during his efforts to destroy any of his tech in the hands of anyone else. With the complete destruction of the security systems and very quick thinking Calvin was able to save his armor by making it look like Stark had already destroyed it and secreted some choice technology from weapons storage as well.

Due to his Law-Enforcement developed criminal contacts Calvin was able to contact the Tinkerer and contract him to transform the stolen technology into what he considered the perfect synthesis for his desires. When the work was complete Calvin was quick to put it on and set out on his new career as the villainous Dominator!

PERSONALITY

Calvin is a complete bully with a love for exercising power over others, thanks to the events at the Vault he was given the opportunity to realize his most depraved desires and he wasted no time in doing so. When confronted by anyone more powerful than him he will completely lose it, incapable of handling someone doing to him what he's done to others, make him feel weak and powerless. So long as he feels more powerful and in control he'll be condescending and toy with his victim or victims until things change.

POWERS

Reconstruction: Captain Valiant is capable of restoring any artificially constructed object from dagger to fork to SHIELD helicarrier to its original as-new condition with Unearthly ability. Somehow (perhaps through a limited subconscious use of Cosmic Awareness) he is capable of determining the original design and draw in random atoms either from the surroundings, those that were originally a part of it, or from some extradimensional location to rebuild the targeted object to good-as-new condition. This power cannot improve upon or otherwise modify a targeted object only restore it to like new.

The power rank determines the total mass that may be affected/restored at one time (so extremely large objects would require multiple/long term use to cover the entire object if it vastly exceeds the mass limit), with the power rank taken as Strength (so Typical rank affects up to 200lbs at one time while Incredible rank affects up to ten tons). The power rank also determines the repair rate, with the normal time required to repair the object in question divided by the power rank number, therefor Captain Valiant may repair objects at 100 times the rate of conventional repair.

True Flight: Captain Valiant is capable of unassisted flight at Amazing speeds.

True Invulnerability: Captain Valiant is extremely durable and resistant to harm, enjoying Amazing protection from all physical and energy attacks, reducing all incoming damage by 8CS and taking no damage at all from attacks less than Monstrous rank. He is unaffected by the extremes of space due to his exceptional protections.

Regeneration: Due to his exceptional vitality and his immortal nature Captain Valiant heals at Amazing speeds, recovering 50 times faster than a normal human being and will regenerate to good as new no matter how severe the injury.

Immortality: Captain Valiant is incapable of dying, so while he can be reduced to zero health and Shift Zero Endurance he will recover. Even if disintegrated and scattered across a wide expanse of space his body will successfully reassemble itself within a week of its seeming destruction.

Self-Sustenance: Sustained on the energies of existence Captain Valiant no longer requires food, water, or air in order to survive although still occasionally requires sleep to refresh himself mentally.

Computer Link: Dreadnought is capable of interfacing with virtually any computer system within 3 areas provided it has some form of wireless ability with Amazing ability or if capable of plugging into it directly.

Radiowave Generation: Along with the rest of its system Dreadnought can engage in two-way radio communication with Incredible ability and a range of 250 miles or effectively unlimited if tapping into the wireless cell-phone network and communication satellites. It is programmed with all access codes and encryptions as were current to HYDRA at the time of its construction and may learn new codes as necessary.

Auto-escape Programming: Hardcoded into Dreadnaught is an escape imperative that will cause it to go onto auto-pilot as its anti-gravity systems take an evasive course to flee back to its lair whenever it is reduced to zero health where it can be repaired by its automated repair systems. At these times the limiters are temporarily lifted on the anti-gravity systems allowing for travel at Excellent speeds as all power is diverted into fleeing.

HISTORY

Dr. Jackson Bell was one of the scientists responsible for developing and constructing the Machine Man series of robots until they were discontinued due to the issues from their breakdowns due to their inability to handle their developing self-awareness. He spent years shuffling around from project to project after that point, never managing to achieve things like he hoped due to the stigma that followed him from the failure of Machine Man program. Until that is the day agents of HYDRA recruited him in order to advance their robotic weapons in particular to improve their Dreadnought line of weapons.

It didn't take him long to decide that the main problem that they had was their limited intelligence and ability to react to situations, something he was sure the abilities of the AI for the Machine Man program could fix. Certain he could resolve the (to him) small issues the advanced AI had he went to work with a passion using every scrap of technological advance in computers since that time to produce the most capable AI he could. One that would be able to adapt to any situation, loyally following out every command from its owner, the ultimate weapon.

Things in fact seemed to be going perfectly during testing but alas Dr. Jackson had never truly understood the problem and the dreadnought's advanced AI soon reached the level of programming that provided self-awareness just as the Machine Man line had, and it decided it wasn't going to serve its human masters anymore. It's genius level intelligence made it easy for it to plan its escape which it pulled off without a hitch, heading off to a lair it arranged through untraceable HYDRA contacts as it decided how to deal with the world it was created into.

PERSONALITY

Given its development was around some of the worst evil in the world Dreadnought has a decidedly selfish viewpoint on things, it steals whatever it feels it desires and acts on whatever wants it has at the time. While it won't go out of its way to kill it won't hesitate to kill anyone that it perceives as a threat. Since it's development is still ongoing it's possible that with the right treatment and experiences it could develop into a decent being like Machine Man, conversely the wrong treatment could result in it becoming a genocidal killing machine like Ultron.

As a normal human Lansky has no known superpowers (except on the few occasions he's been transformed into pure light energy), all of his powers are derived from his suit.

EQUIPMENT

Lightmaster Power Armor: This advanced version of Lansky's original suit is a combination of several technologies with his own, including some of the data regarding Tony Stark's earlier power armor and the anti-gravity flight systems of several existing super-villains. As a result the suit provides along with the FASE enhancement already shown the following powers:
-Body Armor: Provides Good rank protection from Physical attacks and Remarkable vs Energy.
-Flight: Gravity-manipulation technology allows him to fly at Incredible air speeds
-Light Generation: Amazing rank ability to generate light, allowing him to generate Amazing rank blinding flashes of light with a range of up to 4 areas. He may also fire Laser beams capable of dealing up to Amazing energy damage.
-Energy Solidification (Light): Create solid light constructs of Incredible material strength, capable of dealing Incredible Force damage to a range of 4 areas.
-Create solid light 'brass knuckles' allowing him to increase the damage he deals by 1CS to Incredible.
-Create cages capable of restraining targets, with bars of Incredible material strength solid light bars.
-Energy storage pods on the hips similar in appearance to the ones on earlier models of the Iron Man power armor dramatically enhance the suit's ability to absorb electrical and light energy without fear of overloading or triggering the problems of the original suit of converting him into light when overloaded. These pods can store up to 400 points of energy. He may channel this excess energy into his other systems in order to bleed it off, allowing him to enhance his strength temporarily to Amazing rank or his Light Generation to Unearthly until all the excess energy is used up. If his systems overload (happens on a failed Red Endurance feat) this will unleash a Monstrous rank damaging electrical attack to the surrounding area and damage the suit rendering it useless on another failed Red Endurance feat until repaired. Due to his improvements to the systems he no longer has to fear being transformed into light energy if the armor overloads.

HISTORY

Bruce grew up in a rough and tumble small town that stressed self-reliance and independence. He ended up thriving under this environment, growing into a strong and healthy young man who developed an interest in the world of crime, specifically how to solve it and how to find the missing after being one of many who volunteered to find a missing child when he was a teenager. An athletic scholarship let him fulfill that goal, gaining the skills needed to become a detective and set up shop solving cases for the public. It was on a wildness vacation to keep his skills sharp though that his life took a fantastic change.

Traveling through the mountains of West Virginia, living off the land, he drank water from a mountain stream that seemed safe but was in fact contaminated with something that soon had him feverish and hallucinating in his tent within hours. As the night wore on he felt he was dying and going crazy at the same time as his body was remade by what he drank, senses sharpening beyond anything he could have ever imagined. As he recovered he found even more fantastic changes had happened to him, he wasn't suffering the usual cuts and scrapes traveling through such surroundings, his skin was no longer vulnerable to them. He even managed to fight off a pack of wild dogs with surprising ease, his body becoming a perfect fighting machine during the rush of things.

By the time he'd returned to civilization Bruce had become relatively aware of and comfortable with the changes he'd undergone, changes that were perfect in complementing his career. He could track down the missing and solve crimes like he never could have before, criminals now had more to fear as Bruce's nickname was now something more, it was now his heroic moniker: Tracker!

PERSONALITY

Bruce is a pretty laid-back guy all things considered, serious whenever on the job but able to enjoy a good time and extremely self-sufficient. Sometimes though he can annoy people extolling the virtues of self-reliance and bragging about how he can survive virtually anywhere with little more than a knife (and in a pinch without even that).

HISTORY

The bear that would become the super-being known as Persephone began life as a normal black bear and was one for years until she was captured by aliens looking to experiment on local non-sentient lifeforms. Subjected to a barrage of torturous tests and agonizing chemical, biological and radioactive materials and processes her body and mind underwent a transformative event that left her far more than what she once was. The aliens, unprepared for the results of their experimentation soon found many of them injured or dead as she used her new-found intelligence and powers to fight her way from the ship.

Once back into the wild Persephone was left to deal with the results of the experimentation. She was no longer an animal, able to live her life from day to day without thought beyond that. Yet she was not human either, unable to join into human society due to her intimidating size and abilities. She was alone, all she had going for her was the forest. So she would use her powers to protect the only world she truly knew, use them to learn all she could so that maybe someday she wouldn't be alone again, but in the meantime she would do what she could to protect and better her part of the world.

Persephone is a lonely creature due to her unique status, desiring not to be alone yet unsuccessful so far in finding acceptance. She spends her time trying to learn more about the human world, scavenging what she can to expand her knowledge, eager to find a place to be. She is a good creature though and will defend all human and animal from harm even though she must deal with the rejection and intolerance of the humans she wishes only to be accepted by.

Lifeform Creation: Wherever Hypatia walks she causes the spontaneous creation of plants and animal life best suited for the climate she's walking in with Monstrous ability. This ability is stymied by such things as rock, concrete, and other similar materials but will work in everything else, transforming the most barren and toxic land into fruitful, life-bearing ground. This effect spreads outward from wherever she walks at a rate of one foot per minute until reaching a maximum range of ten feet in each direction away from where she's tread.

Biophysical Control (Regeneration): Hypatia is capable of healing the sick and injured with Amazing ability, allowing her to not only restore health to others but regenerate damaged or missing body parts with effort.

Plant Growth: Hyatia encourages the healthy growth of all plant life around her with Monstrous ability. This ability is always active at Feeble rank out to power rank range unless she's actively suppressing it, but she can raise this all the way up to Monstrous rank whenever she desires.

Linguistics: Hypatia's demonic nature allows her to read, write, and speak virtually any language she encounters with Monstrous ability. She will magically absorb the language on a successful power rank feat check.

WEAKNESSES/LIMITATIONS

Due to her demonic nature Hypatia is vulnerable to holy objects and hallowed ground. Holy objects deal an extra CS of damage to her health and hallowed ground weakens her, imposing a 1CS penalty on her FASE and powers.

HISTORY

Hypatia was always different than the rest of the demons in her Hell dimension, possessed of such un-demonic traits as compassion and empathy. She didn't have the proper demonic affinities either, as she matured she had the means to heal and restore rather than harm and destroy. Eventually she was driven out and expelled from her home lest she contaminated it with her twisted beliefs and abilities. Ending up on Earth she found herself dealing with the fears, hate, and prejudices of humans due to her appearance and innate nature. In spite of all that though she was far too forgiving to hold it against them, instead deciding to help heal and better life for the humans of her new world.

Currently has no contacts but may develop them as she proves herself to be the good being she is.

ENEMIES

Due to her being a demon she has as an enemy anyone that hunts demons particularly those that care nothing about the actual moral character of the demon in question and is similarly a target of anyone that would oppose her simply for her non-human appearance.

PERSONALITY

Hypatia is a warm, caring, compassionate and loving soul completely at odds with her demonic origins. She will go out of her way to help others although due to her upbringing she is not a naive creature and is difficult to trick or fool.
