A World Without Heroes, Is A World Without Hope! © 2001, 2024
Caught a clip of it on Youtube, of Omni-Man I think his name is (Invincible's father) as he's slaughtering the JLA analog. A bit too brutal and bloody for my interests.

If there is anything you'll probably have to suffer skimming through page by page and hope you can find something. Unfortunately Darkstalkers is a franchise that didn't get the really big break-out deal here.

The New Gods film has been canceled after 3 years of development.
Another casualty of the Snyder Cut?
New Gods Canceled
Probably a victim of trying to take something that should have that trippy Kirby-esque grandeur and turn it into another bleak and dark landscape. After all they've been trying to make everything just as angsty and miserable as Batman and the New Gods simply

QuoteNecromancerDon't bother. It sucks just as hard the second time...
...only this time you get to suffer for 242 minutes...
Thankfully I didn't bother with it the first time, haven't bothered with any of their failed attempt to create a shared universe to compete with Marvel outside of Wonder Woman (which was fabulous except for them leaving out smoking even in the bar scene while leaving so

That's one of those 'sure if the GM is fine with it' kind of things. Otherwise without something explicit written into the power then no there's no reason that they'd somehow just permanently acquire the attributes or abilities of someone or something permanently just because they copied them repeatedly.

The search feature here can be somewhat problematic, I can't remember if anyone's posted such conversions or not. However keep in mind that there's that link at the top of the page called 'archived forum' that links to the original site's database that proved too problematic to convert to the new site after its original creator Aunt_Petunia gave it to Skycutter. So even if you can't find such m

Diamond publishing has shut down one of their North American facilities. They had three facilities but now only two remain.
Diamond has stated it is the fault of DC Comics, which isn't really true. DC just decided to go with a different publisher because they were sick of Diamond's BS and their monopoly over comics.
More stores are refusing to carry DC's Future State series, ci

While rereading Exiles I've gotten to the 5-issue arc by Claremont where the title finally went into the dumpster and we actually see Captain Hydra serving under monstrously evil Susan Storm ruler of Hydra after his brainwashing, so looks like he got his try in Exiles first.
In the All-Wolverine line-up we also see Wolverine Hulk just also ended up canon years later.

If the Montesi Formula wiped out all Bio-vampires, how was Morbius spared; or Bloodscream for that matter? Was anyone else, and if so, why?
1. Morbius was not a true vampire and thus, was immune to the Montesi Formula.
2. Bloodscream is probably not a true vampire as he gained his powers via a magic spell cast by Dagoo.
3. Hannibal King survived

Except that someone with Typical phasing CAN avoid pretty much all physical attacks unless they've a specific limitation on the power. They just can't actively phase through higher density materials. This is an important feature of phasing.
So would this apply if, say Moonstone (who has Amazing rank Phasing) encounters the Vision or another character with Dens

In a world similar to yet vastly different from the one we’re most familiar with a prodigy and futurist known as Charles Xavier was born. Filled with a fascination with the advancement of humanity and technology he studied science, engineering, medicine and their child bio-technology. Bearing fruits after he’d graduated college he developed X-technology, for it was able to potentially fit into

This character concept of very much reminiscent of that age of comics. A young person similar to the comic book reader at the time transforms into an idealized version of themselves and then uses that power to fight evil. Looks like it would be fun to play.
But also - one of the curious aspects of this character build is the massive boost to reason and intuition. I think that's

Ok, the Player's Book does say "immune to physical and most energy attacks". UPB chimes in with "intangible to normal matter" and "pass harmlessly through any object" with the proviso that the material strength not exceed the power rank. So, what happens if a character with Ty Phasing is attacked with a brick made of Gd material? Character can't phase through the brick, so does

Agreed. The Phasing must exceed the material strength of the object or field for Phasing to occur (UP. A nice clarification so someone with Ty Phasing can't just avoid all physical attacks. PHB lists attacking while phased as a power stunt, unless you're disrupting electronics. Multi-action feat seems like a workaround to keep from having to pay for the power stunt

Good points, both, but I'm just comparing what for Marvel is base intelligence and trying to determine just how much power creep has occurred. Granted, with talents some of the characters can punch way above their weight class, and others like Doom can pull off some truly terrifying technological terrors. Everything starts with their Reason, though. The rest are just column shif

Given the season this is totally the time to mention once again what might be Marvel's most heartwarming Christmas Story: Marvel Team-Up #127 Spider-man and the Watcher.

Don't forget that's the base Reason, their talents give them the equivalent of a higher Reason in their relevant fields.

Generally speaking someone that's phasing will pass through any physical attack used against them, the material strength of the item in question isn't relevant. It would be a limitation on the power that they could still be struck by physical objects, otherwise someone like Kitty Pride would be long dead by now from being hacked up by Wolverine yet she routinely phases through him and his attack

Suggestion:
Using him as a villain in a campaign I'm currently running, when I noticed that Dr. Psycho on the source book page doesn't have his telekinesis power. It's his main offensive move. I'd say Rm at minimum and Mn at the very highest? I couldn't decide so I went with Am(50) when I added it for myself.
I looked him up on wiki to see what else he can do and they listed his

Hi everyone,
I had this game a kid, but we never got around to playing it since we were playing D&D at the time. Got out of playing for a few years and then a few years back tried my hand on and off at playing and DMing D&D via Play By Post(pbp). It's slow, but with kids, it's the only way I can play. lol. I've always wanted to play the Marvel game and wanted to see i

Aron the rogue Watcher

I still disagree with DC Comics interpretation that willpower is an emotion. I'm fine with the whole emotional spectrum thing, but really I think courage would have been a better way to express what Green Lanterns tap into.
