Updating this thread since after almost 3 years of weekly updates (plus bonus episodes) we are ending the show... with 12 one shot crossover episodes!
We switched to MASKS aa few months back to get some more emotional mechanics (one of the things the FASERIP system doesn't do well) and had some other arcs, but there has been a lot in the show.

QuoteHowletIt's not a power per say, but has anyone ever tried or heard of someone trying partial transformation with a character like Colossus, or Werewolf? You know like transforming only an arm or a leg?
Colossus can't, his power doesn't lend towards partial transformation, it's all or nothing. I don't think that's been an option for therianthropes either, just changing an arm or leg, they g

QuoteNightmaskIf things worked how you argue then Graviton would have Shift-Z Strength because he can use his powers to lift entire mountains and Molecule Man would have CL5000 Strength since HIS powers can move entire galaxies if he feels like it. Obviously that's absurd and so is Reed with Remarkable Agility or Excellent Strength.
I would argue that since they're exerting the

QuoteTaarnaWhen your powers are part of your physical body, they should be reflected in FASERIP.
That would be false. This case for example, Reed's Agility represents his natural agility WITHOUT his powers doing anything or substituting, and his natural agility is NOT Olympic class and has NEVER been shown being that exceptional. Reed makes power feats to dodge because his POWERS are doing the

Impeccable Direction Sense: The super with this power is always aware of the direction of any stationary, non-living object of which he is acquainted in some fashion (even a map will do). The character can accurately retrace his path despite all conventional methods to conceal or obscure his path automatically. Only in the case of bizarre and unique circumstances (like super-powered interferen

Reed has never shown Remarkable Agility, he's never been close to looking like an Olympic athlete. He uses his powers to morph his body around to dodge things primarily.
Reed does not have Excellent Strength, when he restrains Ben he's using again his powers to do it NOT his strength. When he's shown the few times he's done so lifting Ben he's always using his powers

Ran for one season, ended on a cliffhanger, Thanos was in love with Lady Chaos and enjoyed probably some of the first CGI work for certain sequences such as Galactus particularly when he empowers Norrin Radd. Tragically underappreciated.

I think Combustion says it drops a power rank each turn, so it either won't really last that long or stops at just Feeble damage for the remaining turns. If it doesn't that's certainly the way to handle it, the Combustion starts at power rank then decreases a rank each turn until reaching Feeble.

Here's another scan from the comics about Reed's abilities. Note how he states that he has practiced long hours on his agility right over the scene where he's turned himself into a parachute holding Sue Storm up. This guy was a whole lot tougher and capable than his stats show him up to be.
That's more a form of dexterity and not agility.

Quoteuberbevanum what would the reindeer stats be?
Wow, I'm amazed someone found and bumped this up (and bummed at realizing I neglected to around Christmas last year).
I can't believe I neglected to include the Reindeer stats, since I did Mrs. Claus and the elves. I'll have to think about what kind of stats they'd have and get back to you, unless someone else helps you out first.

Totally bumping this up because everyone should be giving this comic a read for Christmas. Don't miss out on this amazing comic (the link to it can be found under my reply to FTJ).

QuoteScreaming DeanThis Dragonball series is interesting. It reminds me of nice fanfiction.
It's too bad it updates so slowly, when you really want to see how far things diverge from the movies especially when he's gone pure saiyan to the point of being able to go Super-Saiyan, and we don't even know what his third wish will be. A sensu bean would be amazing, as would adding the genetic potenti

This light novel has an interesting premise of a fan of the Dragonball series dying and reincarnating in a version of the Marvel cinematic universe at a point prior to the first Iron Man movie. He has a set of mini-dragonballs that transferred with him and one of them is merged into a dragonball tattoo on the back of one of his hands. Once he realizes where he's at he collects the remaining d

I found this light novel at readlightnovel.org and while set in an ancient China-themed fantasy setting the main character can be said to fit the category of a super-hero. He is an 18 year old young man living in terrible poverty in a world where the wealthy and powerful can casually murder anyone that they please so long as they lack status or power to prevent it. He's lived his life virtuousl

QuoteCykusXSo how exactly does it work? I find the description in the power to be lacking clarity.
It's Column Shift damage reduction, meaning for ever CS of True Invulnerability it reduces the damage of all incoming attacks by that number of CS. So Excellent rank TI would have 5CS and would therefor reduce all incoming attacks by 5CS, so if struck by a Remarkable rank attack they would take Fe

I would say you would cover the TARDIS-like 'bigger on the inside than outside' feature as purchasing a power like Internal Limbo for the 'building/police phone box/etc'.

Heralds, in general, would be somewhat beneath Elders particularly ones that have due to their specialties focused on power development like the Grandmaster or Contemplator have. The Elders also don't gain their powers through cosmic power they gain them due to having a fragment of the original energies of the universe's creation called the Power Primordial. While it provides for similar effect

You're still missing the point of the original post. It's not about integrating an Asgardian character into a street level campaign, it's about a normal human possessing a magic item of Asgardian origin.
The OP said Quote" I'm thinking they give him the abilities of an Asgardian Ogre or Giant" Okay that is super human strength maybe at the incredible level. A b

Thing is the vision and enhanced physiology is already canon to him in the comics, it's even in his official write-up from Marvel if memory serves. Even early on he was shown doing things like hitching rides on the outside of airplanes which would have been impossible without being able to resist the cold and survive on low levels of oxygen for long periods of times. It's a poorly researched wr

QuoteRip FazerA little deeper digging and I came up with Dragon #197, Heroes of the Streets Arise! It was an advanced supplement. They revised the origins table and they get more talents and contacts. Thanks for the reply!
You're quite welcome. I was going to end up looking through the PDF to see which one it was later today but glad you were able to find it yourself.
