A World Without Heroes, Is A World Without Hope! © 2001, 2024
So basically you're seeing Alter-Ego and Changeling the exact opposite of what they actually are.

Pretty valid point there, Nightmask. But what if his power armor was more in line with the Iron Patriot armor from the movies? Give him something that feels like he can actually do some good with instead of just a knock off suit of Mandroid armor?
We also know that for certain that the Defenders include Hank Pym, Dazzler, Jack Monroe as Captain America, Iron Man, Thor, the Hulk (

It's always been a favorite of mine and I've always felt it needed updating (since it's written with the Basic set in mind and not the Advanced so has a number of issues). As far as changes to make it more different I'm not sure it needs them, although admittedly having Grimm in power armor so that he's running around equal in ability to 616-Grimm and not really different beyond being able to 'd

It's certainly a terrible loss all around, another victim of cancer as we struggle to find better ways to detect it earlier on and treat it before it becomes terminal. I've a high school classmate that's trying to survive the same cancer right now after undergoing surgery earlier this year.

I was never a fan of the look of the Spiky Thing. It was an absolutely terrible design, though it was nice seeing Ben win one in FF back in the day (though he lost immediately in the rematch in Hulk's book).
Regardless, I've never been on board with Ben only having Monstrous Strength. Even going back to the OHotMU books (Vol1, #11, pg 13 from 1983 for those who like so

Just what we need, another trilogy of awful Batman films. DC is just so far removed from what is relevant in today's society that they just need to give it up. I'd much rather be interested in a 2nd Shazam film or a Mr. Miracle film. Anything besides grey washed out melodrama that has been tiresome since the 1980's.
Batman is probably the sole fra

Trials are good. Accountability at some level is important, and a trial is a good way of getting to the details of an incident... and perhaps if she were put on trial and there was a need to defend her, then someone might have realized sooner that Wanda wasn't quite herself at the time she decimated mutants by causing their X-factor to stop working.
But who has the authority to

Eh, most of them would be resistant or immune (I wonder what the Endurance feat for covid-19 would be...) so it wouldn't bother them overmuch. The ones it would be a problem for would add the appropriate safeguards to their costumes or standard gear to prevent contracting or spreading it.

Hello everyone!
I've been gaming since 1998 with AD&D and 2nd ed, got into other gaming systems until I discovered MSH from a friend running an Avengers game at the local gaming store in 2003. I've been playing the game ever since. Right now I have three kids, and actually got an account because I was going to ask some questions about some things I've been trying to find, but

Obviously that's absurd and so is Reed with Remarkable Agility or Excellent Strength.

From what I remember there were only a few of the car that was featured in the movie ever made, there's like only one in existence. Would love to have it.

QuoteThrudjelmerAnother fast revenant could be The Wraith (Charlie Sheen, 1986). He comes back from death in another body that seems alive, and he possesses an otherwordly car that he uses to get revenge on the people that murdered him.
That was one awesome movie, particularly since he only targets and kills the people directly involved in killing him. No collateral damage like with many 'back

She certainly should be held accountable for her actions that caused so many deaths (like the super-hero family in England that had many family members die because they became powerless in the middle of life-threatening situations), but she was suffering diminished capacity due to her mental break so it's hard to hold her as accountable as say Jean Grey for killing an entire planet's population.

Nice...I'd suggest Bane needs a new name though; perhaps Nemesis, or a "nice" one
bane: a cause of great distress or annoyance.
ARCHAIC: something, typically poison, that causes death.
nemesis: the inescapable agent of someone's or something's downfall.
a long-standing rival; an archenemy.
a downfall caused by an inescapable agent.
Why not Panacea?

Vocal Control: Given the character can imitate virtually anything especially at higher ranks a career in voice acting would be perfect for them. They could even be a one-man voice-acting studio able to perform everything from every character to every sound effect by themselves. Just pick some appropriate talents (like Performer) to provide support and the character could have a fine career in t

QuoteThrudjelmerI suspect that if the FF had been mutants and the X-Men were altered humans, then mutants would be the commonly accepted superhumans and people who were gained powers by being altered by radiation would be viewed as the freaks... because the X-Men will always be the outsiders.
So the X-men would be the Doom Patrol?
Would make for an entertaining crossover, with the 616-X-men mee

The Gorn was definitely not rocking an Incredible Strength, at best it was Remarkable. The rock he throws isn't even remotely in the range of a ton or more, at the worst half a ton and really more likely around 500 lbs or so. Incredible Strength he'd have killed Kirk in one blow, two at best (because there's no way in a death match it was holding back).

WOW ... I absolutely LOVE this concept!
Instead of Senator Kelly publicly supporting the whole Anti-Mutant, It Doom that does it at the U.N. and the assassination attempt is carried out by the Inhumans, who actually succeed - but it's a Doombot. I was checking out the latest posts to an FF-devoted FB group and someone posted a pic of the FF in costumes based on the original X-men and had me thinking about parallel world versions of them where the FF were actually mutants whose powers manifested when they were all together from some event (since some mutants don't awaken until long into adulthood, so Reed and Ben made it through college a

Well for one thing Xavier had some government connections, which he used for the benefit of his team. Having them 'disappear' evidence related to the X-men isn't so surprising. If he was on-scene he'd just mind control people into destroying the evidence or simply not collect any in the first place.
