I can't find Recovery as a power.
I see Regeneration, but not Recovery. I've looked in the Player's Handbook and the Ultimate Powers Book, but don't see it. Am I just looking over it somehow? I seem to recall having read it before, but...

Meanwhile, 10 years later, ;
I really enjoyed Dog Soldiers. There were plans for a series of 'Private Cooper movies' where he runs across various supernatural beings - Vampires, Frankenstein's Monster, etc. - but it was never picked up.
One thing I didn't care for in the werewolf look was the hairlessness. The heads looked wicked-cool, but the skinny, hairless bodies - with furry feet, no less

I always liked the group Earth Force. Anyone remember them?
It's been a while since I read the books, but as I recall, there seemed to be a hint that Earth Lord's wife was either having an affair with his partner, or at least his partner wanted that. And, as time went on, it seemed as though Earth Lord and Wind Warrior were becoming...chummy. I wonder if I'm misremembering that or reading too mu

Any chance you could bind some of those for me?
What would something like that cost? I checked at my local Office Supply Store about making a spiral bound Ultimate Powers Book, and it was a bit insane!
What are the legalities of printing them for someone besides your own personal use?

I got a copy at a local used book store for $25.
A guy offered to run a game at the local Game Store. We had a Session Zero Monday evening. Meet the Judge and other players, rolled up some quick characters (nothing fancy; Brick, telepath, and speedster so far - had a couple no-shows), and ran a quick meet-up (S.H.I.E.L.D. texts all the characters and has them come to the local branch office, Ag

Great post. You're doing "The One Above All"'s work there, my friend!
I don't have the whole set of FASERIP any more (well, I don't think I ever had every book, but I had most). I do have the Player's Handbook and Judges Book. and at least two of the big Character Books. That's enough to get started, but I wish I could get ahold of a Ultimate Powers book. I suppose I could just us use the PDF fr

Nick Fury Jr. inherited the Infinity Serum's effects from his dad.
Marvel seems to be a bit hesitant to really answer that question for the 616 universe. Other Universes do have Meta-children from Meta-parents (MC2 for instance has a whole host of them). In 616 we do have Franklin and Valerie Richards. It would suggest to me that that would make them Mutants, but Marvel keeps side-stepping, bac

I recall a "Book", I think it was on this forum - a collection of a lot of heroes, not just Marvel, but like Indiana Jones, Kirk, Luke Skywalker, Terminator, etc. I think it even had a lot of dinosaurs.
Anybody remember that...or am I just crazy?

My niblings (9 and 13) have fairly recently discovered Dungeons and Dragons and are now interested in other RPGs.
Meanwhile, a friend wants to learn how RPGs work cause her kid is wanting to play in a group, but she's "heard bad things", so she asked me to introduce her to Gaming.
My wife's favorite Game is FASERIP. And she's particularly good with kids (being a teacher and all). So, I'll be s

Cool. I like the How to Create a Supernatural Hunter addition. Thanks.
I've been playing such a character for a while now - "Hunter". A hunter of supernatural creatures with super powers granted from Power Brokers - he worked for the UCWF for awhile.

Never mind. I found it. Nothing about the movie version (a minor joke on the last page not withstanding, Dr. Stanley Lieberman, indeed!).
While I appreciate the immense amount of time and work put into this, it needs a serious editing. Some basic math wouldn't hurt either - quite a few stats didn't add up correctly. And too many character profiles were obviously just copy and pasted with no proo

Has there been any updated Eternals write up?
Movie characterization or current Marvel Eternals vs X-Men stuff?
I read fairly recently where they gave Interloper a name and killed him off-camera. Annoying. He was my favorite Eternal. But, of course I have a pretty major fanon backstory for him.

I've been a fan of the Eternals since I first ran across them in the early 80's.
My favorite Eternal is The Interloper. I understand that fairly recently Marvel decided to give him a name, Betilakk, and kill him off offscreen, but years ago I made his back story; His name is Enkidu, the friend of Gilgamesh in the Epic of Gilgamesh. It's mentioned that the Eternal Gilgamesh (The Forgotten One) i

Good write-up. The Crow fits the definition of the supernatural creature, Revenant.
An undead Spirit of Revenge (not to be confused with Ghost Riders Spirit of Vengeance). Usually depicted as vaguely similar to a vampire or mummy - intelligent, sapient, thirsting for...revenge in the Revenant's case. Usually they get a bonus to their stats like a vampire or Mummy, but it leans toward speed over

When first introduced, "AMary-Sue" Eagle" arm wrestled The Thing for 45 minutes to a tie. He later uprooted a huge tree - something we've seen Collosus, Rogue, Hulk, Wendigo, and Sasquatch do. It lists in the OHotMU that he can lift 15 tons. I've always felt that to be a typo and that it should have listed him as Strength Level: 75 Tons

Amazing seems to work for me.
If Captain America is possible the greatest Fighter in the world at Amazing, then why wouldn't the smartest man in the world have Amazing? I know it's not exactly the same, but it makes the point.
Keep in mind that when he does anything scientific he's doing it at Monstrous. And I'd give him a +2 CS in Physics - his strongest skill - making it Unearthly.

I've thought about that question a few times and came up with the perfect solution - Gorn are Cold-Blooded and the planet he and Kirk fought on was cold.
Let's say, 40 degrees F.
With Kirk running around and fighting, the temperature would have been the least of his concern. Not worth mentioning. The Gorn however would have trouble even moving.
On a nice 80 degree afternoon, it'd have been li

I was doing some research on my favorite Eternal - Interloper (yeah, you know him, you love him; the 8 ft tall, 1000 lbs, mountain man, or Man Mountain).
He has a write-up in every Handbook and Encyclopedia...except, I think they skipped him in the Masters Edition - with the 3 holes punched card stock.
Is anyone able to prove me wrong?

Peter is easily stronger than the rest. Lois has stated that he's strong enough to lift the rest of the family. Perhaps giving him Excellent strength. His weight varies from around 270 - 330, all of which would come under Gd (10) intensity.
I'd also think that Brian is smarter than everyone except Stewie (and possibly Meg) - he only needed one credit to graduate Brown University, and thats not

Okay, so, as Jack Russell's father was a Lord (let's just say 'Count' for the lulz). Jack was born in Romania, but as a child, his father ,'Count Russoff' was murdered and his mother and the Count's younger brother ran away to America and got married.
Even though he's now an American citizen, he would still be the rightful Count of Medias Romania (or whatever the County was called), correct?

I've noticed a couple of comics over the years have mentioned how some characters are the heir to a European Title, but must often the Title itself is vague.
For instance; Kevin Reginald Plunder (Ka-Zar) is often referred to as a member of the British Peerage. Now, it's my understanding that amongst the British titles, the lowest - Knight, is referred to as "Sir", and the top of the list; Duke,
