Why would you want to??

A high post count is indicative of little more than one having the time to post frequently.
It does not mean a person is more knowledgeable on any given topic than anyone else.

Hello all

I have lurked on this forum for a while. I collected both Marvel and DC titles years and years ago (yeah I am an old guy now). I still have my old collection.
I became interested in the old heros since I have been reading about them on the internet and with the proliferation of films these days.

I never played the role playing game but it is fun to see the heroes powers quantified for comparison.

My two favorite heros are probably Thor and Superman. I also enjoyed Captain America, Green Lantern, the FF, Green Arrow/Black Canary and the X-men (Storm and Ice Man are particular favoites).

I really liked the old Marvel Gothic line of books, particularly the Tomb of Dracula and Werewolf by Night. The adaptations of Howard's work by Marve (Conan, Kull etc.) were also favorites of mine.

Anyway, thanks for maintaining a site that an old nerd has fun visiting everyday.

Glad to have you here and hope to see plenty of de-lurking and adding to the richness of things here with your unique and welcome view on things.

::nods slightly ::

I am known as an EarthBound.
Or you can call me John.
I'm old enough to remember when this game was first released. Though none of my original books/accessories have survived.
I've also played; all 3 versions of Star Wars, Rifts, Ad&D, most D20 games, Alternity, Warhammer Fantasy RPG, and many many others that I can't remember at the moment.
Up until recently, I played Alternity, Star Truk( Last Unicorn Games). And Pathfinder.

Marvel was and is my favorite.
I look forward to becomming a productive member of this community.
