My understanding is punch is causes power rank Amazing strength = 50 points of damage, but is this an accurate way to do things? Would it be better for Amazing strength to cause or better to cause a - 1cs in damage to 40 points of damage. Or Monstrous strength to cause 50 points? This would reflect the comics more accurately. Amazing strength even though is causes 40 points of d

Chloé Zhao and her interpretation on The Eternals poor reception and performance at the box office
I 100% disagree with her assessment. In fact, I think you have to be willfully trying to be ignorant if you think the Eternals performed poorly for any reason other than it was just a bad movie.
I hated the story, thought it had poor casting, thought it had poor cinematography, poor s

DC is squeezing the proverbial final dollar from its most valuable franchise.
I wonder how many times we get to hear "I'm Batman" with this new film.
Seriously though, the Golden Goose is going to quit laying golden eggs sooner or later.
With a new actor in the mix, and a Batman film coming out of nowhere I have to wonder
if the new film is even tied to the DCEU or if it is a reboot or whatever

Is there a way to edit posts, or failing that, remove it so as to be able to repost a corrected version? I just realized I had forgotten to add power descriptions to one of my character sheets, and would like to fix this.
After 24 or 48 hours or something, editing becomes the sole power of the moderators. You could just add another post and let everyone know it is a correction. I

Enjoyable character write ups but, you really could place them all into one post and just change the subject bar at t

Marvel Superheroes was the first RPG that I played and recently I picked up the books and started to read through them and saw how great the game was. I am wondering if there are any groups right now looking for players?
I believe there are some PbP going over on FB, you should probably inquire with the group Marvel Super Heroes RPG from the 80s and 90s.

And they're gone again....
I have to say that entire display was just shameful.
I do feel bad for Jim Ward, who created Giant Lands and was not associated with this debacle in anyway. TSR the 3rd was just the vehicle for publishing his new game. I hope this public shame does not tarnish his career, because he has always seemed like a fine upstanding content creator in the TTRPG com

This is not the TSR, Inc. (Tactical Studies Rules) of yesterday.
Gary Gygax's son purchased the remains of TSR from Wizards of the Coast and founded TSR in 2012, this is old news in the TTRPG Community.
Also, there are TWO TSR Games companies in existence now, neither of which really has anything to do with the original.

what are some things the new game will have or do that would be a big TURN OFF to playing the game past one session ?
Well, right out of the gate, I question why in the H*ll would they choose to try and sell/profit from a set of playtest rules instead of recruiting play testers from the RPG and comic communities to help develop the game? I think Marvel's greed is showing with their

I started this on the Discord channel, but thought I'd get into more detail here. I think Ultimate skill is 1) not used enough, and 2) really badly written.
The talent categories make no sense to me. Why Professional skills are left out of the list (yet we get Mechanical Intuition...) is the most bewildering.
In Science (an approved category for Ultimate Skill (US)) we see two engi

I am not a fan of "normal" humans as PCs to begin with, but a human magic wielder rolling on column 2 seems overly restrictive, especially since rolling the same character using ROM would mean rolling on column 1.
I usually handle human mages as high-tech heros, just replacing +2cs reason for +2cs psyche and rolling on column 3. These seems far better for creating a super-class mag

I'm just excited for Shang-Chi not being reimagined as a white, welsh female!
I was really hoping the film would have that classic 70s look.
I bet Yellow Claw/Fu Manchu will be whitewashed, if the character even appears. I'm fairly certain Marvel has mostly excised all trace of him.

The death of Diamond can't come soon enough, they drove a lot of popular independent companies out of business deliberately due to their monopoly control over things. The Federal government should have stepped in and broke them up long ago.
I imagine they will still survive without comics, Diamond is a world wide publisher involved in many genres and mediums, but it would be awes

Holy Cow!
Marvel has switched publishers to Penguin Random Publishing abandoning Diamond altogether.
Diamond had previously lost one of its three publishing centers when DC walked away.
This is a massive change in the industry. Looks like Diamond's days are numbered at this point.
On the plus side, retailers can now order Marvel direct in quantities that they desire instead of Diamond's monop

Talking to my local comic pusher, Future State isn't selling well. Yes, DC split from Diamond and 75% of their lineup is Batman, but now DC comics arrive on Tuesdays instead of Wednesdays, so if you like the original cast, they show up a day early. At least the DCpocalypse hasn't happened yet, but it's still possible.
It seems they have momentarily stabilized but they definitely

Just wondering if someone has created them yet?

Probably a victim of trying to take something that should have that trippy Kirby-esque grandeur and turn it into another bleak and dark landscape. After all they've been trying to make everything just as angsty and miserable as Batman and the

The problem with Snyder's Justice League is the characters don't stand out the way they should, nor do they have good chemistry working with each other as a team.
It's a shame isn't it? DCU films have phenomenal acting talents, but the scripts they are given to work with are just criminally awful.

The demented snowflakes of the Snyderverse who petitioned since 2017 to get the Snyder Cut released are now trying to petition to force WB to reinstate the Snyderverse, which WB, AT&T and DC want to close the book on, and for good reason in my opinion.
WB should suggest to these special people that they have to fund the films themselves if they want more of them.
Personally, I still do not

Post your own if I missed somebody.
The main brainiacs I can think of are:
Doctor Doom. This is my pick for the win. He's strong-willed, great with technology, good with magic, and the best at combining the two. He's one of the best on the list for long-range planning.
Tony Stark.
