Interesting, nice to see someone remembers Ms Mystic.

Continuity Comics ahh so long ago...I am old.
I never did get my subsription of Crazy Man in the mail. Maybe I will write Neal a letter asking him for my money back?

Alas they never stood a chance in spite of some very nice and creative story ideas and character creations.

My response to that team would be a team created by Thorndrake from Secret Avengers who is using Imus Champion to fund it.

Team Field Leader: Protocide
Team Mage: Baron Mordo
Team Tech: Wingless Wizard
Team Wild Card: Super Adaptoid
Team Psi: Legion
Team Sneak: Sabretooth
Team Brick: Ulik the Troll
Team Base: Stark's SHIELD helicarrier
Team Base Support: Stratosfire
Team Combat Trainer: Taskmaster
Team Support Personnel: Collective Man

Some good choices there. Throndrake is awesome. I has forgoten all about Stratosfire. Protocide is an interesting choice as field leader- not sure I would use him as he is so unstable
Legion is a monster always to be weary of.

Ok I would have enjoyed to add picts but was short on time:

A team set-up by Doom to battle the clear new threat to his kingdom- the Night Stalker Avengers !
Using mind control, cunning, and good old fashioned cash Doom gathers the following:

Team Field Leader: Magneto
Team Mage: Loki
Team Tech: Norman Osborn (wearing super patriot armor btw)
Team Psi: Shadow King (using the body of Roughhouse)
Team Sneak: Super-Skrull
Team Wildcard: Apocolypse
Team Brick: Thanos
Team Base: Castle Doom
Team Base Support: Ultron
Team Combat Trainer/Security: Ogun (using the body of Mary MacPherran aka Titania)
Team Support Personnel: Boris and the Doom-bots

That's a lot of big egos on one team. I think they might be able to win though even against this most awesome group of super baddies.

How 'bout a new Team-Building exercise:

In the spirit of the new Uncanny Avengers, build a new team of avengers! Here are the limitations:

1. Team must be 7 members or less.
2. Team must be 1/2 Mutant characters
3. You can use only one of the 'big three' (Iron Man, Thor, or Captain America)
4. You cannot use any of the following X-Men (Colossus, Magik, Cyclops, Emma Frost, or Namor)

Also, points for those who can find a use for any members of M-Force.

Have to give that one some thought. Offhand, for my choice from the 'Big Three' I'd have to take Cap, just because of his strategic and tactical acumen and leadership skills at getting disparate personalities and attitudes to band together for a common cause.

If the Phoenix Five weren't off the table, I'd gladly take Colossus for muscle and the compassion and dedication he has when well-written.

il be a little differnent and make an avengers team using these guidlines plus and in a little twist that all the members are dead and would have to be brought back to life
Darkstar darkforce is just cool
Banshee i feel he would make a good team leader
Sunpyre heat things up a little good air support
Nightcrawler team scout
The Executioner...yes he was a villian but he died saving the day and i could see him comming back and wanting redemption for past crimes
Black Goliath extra muscle and pretty decent brains also
Thunderstrike....who dosnt like having a strong guy that has the powers of a thunder god

Okay, I'll play. I'm not especially familiar with M-Force, so I'll pass on the bonus points... but I'll also avoid the big three (despite thinking Captain America would be best as leader).

Leader: Wasp
Brick: Hercules
Blaster: Iceman
Ninja: Squirrel Girl
Mystic Pixie
Speedster: Lightspeed
Smarts: Beast

Interesting way to label the team. Beast is a good choice I think, strives but without the ego

so with Marvel Now creating an all female team i thought it would be cool to see who you would pick to be on a all girl team. My picks

Songbird...team leader she has experence with the thunderbolts and did pretty well
Black Cat team scout
Ms Marvel well rounded character good on any team
Rachel Grey team telepath
Elsa Bloodstone occult expert
Tigra team tracker
Ultra girl a very underrated character with ties to ms marvel that id like to see explored more.

Good choice. Songbird is solid. I just hate that wild hairstyle they gave her for a time. Is that gone yet?

> Ms Marvel well rounded character good on any team
Again, a solid choice. She's got the muscle to be a brick, the power to blast with the best of them, and can follow orders like a good soldier or take control when the leader is out of touch for whatever reason. Can we keep her old costume since you're going with the old name? I don't mind calling her Captain Marvel, but the new costume is just ugly ugly ugly.

> Rachel Grey team telepath
I guess AvX showed that there's just not enough of that going on outside the mutant teams. Personally, I'm not all that fond of Rachel.

> Elsa Bloodstone occult expert
Occult expert who can handle herself in non-occult combat situations just fine. Elsa rocks.

> Ultra girl a very underrated character with ties
> to ms marvel that id like to see explored more.
Very underrated and I agree, I'd like to see the two get back together again.

> Black Cat team scout
> Tigra team tracker
I think you've got a little crossover of roles here. Scout and tracker are similar, and what's more is that either of these characters could fill both rolls. Tigra's animal senses make her a good scout and tracker, she's very stealthy when she wants to be. Black Cat is great at the stealth, but also is a detective and probably getting good at following a trail even without heightened senses.

i see the role of scout as more checking out things but not engaging and back cat with her luck is better for that role. Tracker i see as hunting someone down and kicking some butt. Tigra got the senses, claws and pretty tough. Elsa i feel besides being an occult expert can fill either role nicely as well. i didnt want to put to much muscle on the team, and i like a team up of tigra and black cat. along with elsa i see this team being able to get get into areas really well without knocking a hole into the wall. Take a look at whats going on maybe even set up some ambuses. Rachel can form a telepatic link and when the time is right send in the calvary of Ms Marvel and Ultra girl.
I do agree i dont like Ms Marvels current costume and i dont care for the name captain marvel. Rachel is one of my all time favorite characters and i thought she should have had a much bigger role in the AvsX series. Im a bright red haired girl so i guess i have a thing for red headed female heroes...lol. I actualy did toy with the idea of a all red head female team
