So y'all are just doubling down on being willfully ignorant and grossly unempathetic. Gotcha. Bye.

QuoteThrudjelmerI am offended by people that are too sensitive and take political correctness too far. And no one else gets to decide that my offense isn't real or important. Therefore everyone either needs to stop being so sensitive or at least respect the fact that I find it offensive when they disrespect me with their politically correct statements.
Are you offended by their expression of hurt

QuoteNightmaskThat's a whole lot of inventing reasons to be offended over something they had zero reason to be offended over. Dumb was clearly being used as synonymous with stupid and it was stupid for someone to toss a fit and get offended over its use.
Invented? Those aren't invented, those things actually happened. "Dumb" being used as a synonym for low intelligence stems directly from the b

According to X-Men vol.02:no.191 (Nov 2006), today is the anniversary of M-Day.
(Odd that it was called “Decimation,” since that originally meant to remove 1/10th, or 10%, but Wanda’s reality alteration removed the Mutant gene from ~90% of the Earth’s Mutant population, leaving ~10% unaffected.)

QuoteNightmaskDo they even know what the word means? I mean they couldn't even figure out the context for 'dumb'
Context matters, yes. "Dumb" originally meant "unable to speak"; "deaf and dumb" meaning "unable to hear or speak." In some cultures, it was thought impossible to teach or even communicate with deaf-mute people, and thus they were considered to not possess moral agency (i.e., make m

I live a few miles outside a rural town, so no trick or treaters for us. And my current job looks down on fun stuff like dressing up, but I did wear black pants & an orange dress shirt, so I could say I dressed as a pre-carved Jack O' Lantern. Did manage to watch several classic Universal horror movies (Dracula, The Mummy, The Invisible Man, and The Wolf Man), and some horror comedies (Youn

QuotetystatesWhy does there have to be a connection or theme or some reason for a hero to be assigned to a state? That's just who they got.
Not all of them do have a clear connection (that I can discern), but... why shouldn't there be some connection? Daisy Johnson was assigned to a place that experiences lots of earthquakes because her powers can (probably) stop them, something not many others

So remember how, after the first Civil War, Marvel/S.H.I.E.L.D. had the 50 States Initiative, where each state was assigned its own superhero team? (My state, NC, got the U-Foes?!) Well, in the grand tradition of repeating past events/storylines, Marvel's now doing the U.S.Avengers, assigning an Avenger to each state. Most are assigned to their state of birth, but some have a more thematic tie

I recall that at some of the murderous Earth-2 folks we saw were sent specifically by Zoom to kill their Earth-1 counterparts (or else be killed by Zoom himself), so that would explain some of it.

’Logan’ Director James Mangold Clarifies Some Facts About The Movie
An excerpt:
QuoteAs for when Logan takes place, Mangold confirmed that we are indeed the furthest in the future we’ve ever seen, and that means mutants have a different role to play:
“We are in the future, we have passed the point of the epilogue of Days Of Future Past. We’re finding all these characters in circumstances that

Have you seen the anime adaptation? How would you say it holds up to the manga, is it a good adaptation?
Also, fun fact, OPM started out as a somewhat crude (as in crude art style, not crude humor) self-published b&w webcomic (done as a hobby/side thing) in 2009. Webcomic --> Manga (in 2012) --> anime (in 2015) -- that's a heck of a journey in only six years!

QuoteThrudjelmerI've never believed that the character point system creates balanced characters as one 300 point character can be vastly over-powered compared to another 300 point character. The balance is that it allows everyone the same opportunity to create whatever they want whereas random dice rolls can dictate one player's character may be vastly overpowered and all players may end up with

I've not seen the issue, but I'm guessing if there's any "preaching," it's speaking against people not for being men, but for being sexist. There is a difference between the two.

QuoteNightmaskThe CP system isn't really compatible with the MSHRPG because the game design just doesn't work with it. There are a wide range of powers available (especially if you include the UPcool smiley and the utilitarian nature of the powers covers such a range that even if people all start with a set amount of CP some will end up far more powerful than the others in spite of the illusion t

Oh, certainly, it's a tricky build. It was partly an exercise to see if the concept could be built. I do have a few more similarly complex builds, but most are much more straightforward.
