Civil War II issue #1 killed off Rhodey and She-Hulk.
The story is pretty freaking great so far. Nothing to do with the first Civil War, just events that pit heroes against each other.
Marvel is changing the Universe of 52 years and it is about time. "Forced Diversity" is one way to look at white heroes from the 60's reaching an end and younger characters who are female, black, gay Hispanic a

The power is dangerous. So is 95% of the powers, or at least they can be.
By effecting time, you go back and kill somebody you think needs killing. The act of killing should only effect the localized area (Earth.) I go back in time and kill Stalin and Hitler. I return to the 616 in 2016 and everyone is dead, because Russia and Germany were able to hammer out differences, there was no second Grea

The stories and artwork were great in the 80's. The writing gave the characters depth and realistic problems, and the stories were intriguing.
Then they got lost. Time travel kills everything, you never quite get away from it once you do it. Your over all plot line becomes convoluted. When you can say that about a comic book, you are in trouble.
In the 80's, when Wolverine, Night Crawler, Cycl

Heaven forbid Marvel puts out a story arc that sells comic books.

People are missing the incredible potential for humor with this: He continually thwarts evil and saves the day, continually advances freedom and justice, he is a shining beacon for millions and a role model for the human race.... and he is the worst Hydra agent EVER.

All the X-Men films have something good in them, even if it is just a concept they got right, and I haven't found any of them actually fun. Days and Wolverine had really great scenes and managed to drop off at the end. That is a writing problem.
Will see it in a week or two.
Deadpool is the best X-Men movie!

Namor. Need to see Namor. He is the logical tie in when Marvel gets the FF back.
Destroyer is awesome, great under utilized character. Blazing Skull could be hilarious. Everybody else in black and white footage looking at Steve's compass.
Invaders' villains are not bad either, Agent Axis, Baron Blood, Iron Cross.

Incredibly well done.
The fights are the best in any super hero film, period. The story makes you think you know what is happening and then it pulls out the rug, a genuine surprise (DO NOT LET YOUR FRIENDS RUIN THIS and don't waste time on fan videos until you see it yourself).
Surprisingly brutal for a Disney franchise, they must have chosen to let the directors run with it and that was the r

Apparently they were already to do Man-Thing when the money got cut, the script went out the window and they tried to make a generic horror film. That was a monumental crash and burn.
At least Ted Sallis' wife made it into Iron Man 3 as an AIM killer.

Eureka. Thanks for the stats.
J Bone, I would bring him back in a four issue mini, fighting with his sister Satana, re-introducing them. Maybe a guest appearance in Dr. Strange.
Then I'd do a movie. In a perfect world without film companies and their legal departments, I could put Hellstrom together with Blade or Ghost Rider or both. The original Ghost Rider teamed with him a number of times

The 70's saw Marvel putting out a lot of books with monsters and monsterous heroes.
The MSHRPG has put up stats for Man Thing, Ghost Rider, WereWolf By Night and Morbius the Living Vampire, but I can't find Son of Satan.
SoS was a pretty cool character. He had a trident made of Netheranium, a metal from Hell, that projected Soul Fire and could call up a chariot, drawn by demonic horses.

> This right here are many of the reasons I won't let myself take this power...
It is better to have a power with this potential and not need it, than not have it and the whole team gets killed.
When I had a character with gateway I mostly used it for group travel and an extra-dimensional prison.

Gateway used correctly could be a devastating sing power.
You could create a prison an entrance - exit extremely close together creating a loop through which your victim... I mean villain, continuously travels. Similar to one of Superman's solutions for Doomsday.
You can kill less durable people by placing an exit against a brick wall, the way they crushed the Goa'uld in Stargate by putting a

Don't forget Valkyrie .
In the first cross over with the Avengers, there was some creative writing to show the Vision breaking even with the Surfer. The fights were all separate, Hulk vs Thor, Captain America vs Namor, Hawkeye vs Iron Man, Black Panther and Mantis vs Dr. Strange and finally Swordsman vs Valkyrie. This benefitted the Avengers quite a lot.

The pace was so slow. Half way through it felt like 3 hours. "Wow" moments came off as "ok". Jeremy Irons is an amazing actor and they gave him nothing to do as Alfred.
Thought the take on Lex Luthor was interesting. Liked it a little better than the "evil genius" and "mad scientist" versions in other media. Sure plenty will hate the character.

SHIELD agents and Captain America, Hawkeye & Black Widow are following the trail of Scarlet Witch, who has been kidnapped by pirates.
They trace her to some ruined buildings near an old style sailing ship. A fight breaks out between the team and the pirates, the leader of which has a hook for a hand.
Just as the heroes are winning, one captain tells the other; "Scarlet is not the only Witch

I want to run a character that can run/move extremely fast, near instantaneous, with a "line of sight range" and then hit the target, smashing through many things without getting hurt.
Must go in a straight line, cannot fly and is completely normal/vulnerable when not moving like a bullet.

I agree about the "mortal minds".
Dr. Strange and Silver Surfer could last long enough to defeat but not destroy him/it, and not a lot of other folks could.
Avengers as a group, both classic line ups and recent, would have a terrible time, as minds were probed and then depleted. Less mentally powerful team members would fight each other, overcome with terror and confused with hallucinations*,
